The key point is we have so many voters who will pull the R lever because they truly believe that any Republican is better than a Democrat. To argue the point is like beating your head against a brick wall.
As an earlier article on TBP made clear, most of those who run are sociopaths; the rest are true progressive believers who think they are the one and only benevolent dictator.
The sad truth is there are two factions: true believers working like demons to install their version of utopia. The other faction is filled with morons or those who simply don’t care who they are ruled by.
So, run under a party you don’t agree with and lie about what you believe? Than spring your strange anti-American thinking once you are elected?
