Completely agree with what this woman did and good for her. A quick search showed that this took place in Brazil. The date stamp (day/month/year) showed this probably wasn’t in the U.S., and it turns out this was a police office wearing civilian clothing but wielding her service pistol.
She got lucky. He closed on her pretty fast and she almost didn’t get to her holster. Back carry holsters are okay for a back-up, but it’s tough to get to for a quick draw. Smart that there was a round chambered or she would have been the victim.
Good for her, he deserved what he got.

She shot him dead. Good that she could, but he moved very fast and it took her a minute to get to the gun. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation in an area like that, carry that gun in your hand, by your side or else have your hand in your purse or wherever you carry said gun. He almost got her.

Hear you. It was the normalcy bias that almost got her killed. Too slow to react. We’re all prone to it and we have to unlearn it to the best of our ability.
i’d like to know the backstory on that–it was like he was waiting for her,he had it timed so well–maybe it was a domestic situation–
whatever,it was nice to see her take him down but imo she did something massively wrong–after the shoot she squatted down in the road to i assume get her phone out of her purse–it would have been a shame for a car to have come barreling down the street & not see her–
