Chick-Fil-A Celebrates Pride Month By Serving Delicious Chicken Sandwiches To Everyone Just Like All The Other Months

Via The Babylon Bee

U.S.—Chick-Fil-A restaurants are celebrating the LGBT pride movement all month long by serving delicious chicken sandwiches to everyone without discriminating.

Restaurant spokespeople didn’t even announce the program. They just kept serving chicken sandwiches, offering customers a good value for their money, and providing stellar customer service. When asked about their Pride Month plans, a spokesperson shrugged and said, “Uh, just come in and have some food and we’ll give it to you at a reasonable price and make sure you have a positive experience. We won’t even ask about your orientation. So, uh, yeah. We’ll keep doing what we do.”

“It’s kinda weird,” said one gay customer. “Their logo isn’t a rainbow on social media. They don’t have any special signage telling me that I’m special. But all the same, I walked in, they happily served me food, and I went on my way.”

“I’m not sure if I should be offended or impressed,” he added, shrugging. “I guess I’ll have to go back and get some more nuggets as I think over my feelings about this unique way to celebrate Pride Month.”

After Pride Month is over, the restaurant will reportedly just keep serving excellent food.

Chick-Fil-A definitely has something to be proud about…serving delicious chicken sandwiches and the courage of their convictions. For those celebrating “pride” month, I just don’t get what is prideful about sexual perversion.

Commerce is what has ALWAYS brought us together. GOVERNMENT (and its use of power) is ALWAYS what drives us apart.

Liberty, while agree with your comment would say “quality commerce”,bad commerce pushes us apart,heading/looking for good commerce.

Define “quality” and “bad” commerce. Anything the customer doesn’t want in a free and competitive marketplace, gets driven out. I am simply speaking on the basic level of people making stuff that others want and visa versa. It is that interdependence that brings us together. And there is always a market for lower-priced goods that may lack the quality of other more expensive items. The beauty of the marketplace is that both can find a home and a customer base.

Clarify.

Good commerce brings us together as say customers getting a sandwich, the sandwichs sucked we would all be going in new directions looking for good sandwich.I will say a quality food joint have met folks for first times and even continued relationship beyond the actual meal, that all.

But it is ONLY the market that should decide what is good and what is bad….no? I once ate at a vegan restaurant in the East Village of New York in which everyone sat at long benches on long tables…very communal-like. Sure, I have nothing in common politically with most of these folks I’m sure, but I met a few very nice folks because of the way things were set up, ate some unbelievably great food, and have gone back every time I have been in NYC. I’m sure that such food choices would not be on everyone’s personal choice list. But it met the needs of those it served at the time (I was just there on business). Value is ALWAYS in the eye of the beholder. So long as a business is not harming anyone or their property, not defrauding anyone, and not stealing from the rest of us via government subsidy or similar, they are a great business as far as I am concerned. The ones that end up being the “Cheers” of the neighborhood, etc. become fixtures and play roles beyond just filling a material need…and that is great. But it doesn’t make any of the others any less “necessary” or of any less “value.” And let us not forget that something as simple as using iceberg lettuce on a sandwich versus green leaf, can turn folks against one sandwich and in favor of another. The beauty of the competitive marketplace is that it also gives people places to go that DON’T like what our favorite place serves.

James,

Chic fil A is decent fast food. What is great about the place is 1) very clean and 2) exceptionally nice staff.

If I do fast food, I go there.

Pride in sexual orientation is not pleasant dinner conversation with a seven year old. Leaves fewer dinner options one month a year, and frankly i remember that all year long. Not sure what all these restaurants are thinking. Dinosaur bbq in syracuse was very unwelcome to this fact on facebook, but, go figure, deleted all their responses to my pointing that fact out. Not the only game in town.

In my report, I use historical institutional records and societal data to demonstrate that a triad of ‘state religions’ was globally engendered and emerged on cue following the dissolution of the Soviet Union. This triad consists of climate alarmism, exaggerated tunnel-vision focus on gender equity and a campaign of anti-racism focussed on engineering thoughts, language and attitudes.

These state ideologies were conceived and propelled by UN efforts and the resulting signed protocols. Western academia enthusiastically took up and institutionalized the program. Mainstream media religiously promoted the newly minted ethos. Political parties largely applied increased quotas of gender and race elected representatives.

These processes and ideas served to sooth, massage and occupy the Western mind, especially among the upper-middle, professional and managerial classes and the elite classes of economically occupied territories but did nothing to alleviate the most violent and globally widespread forms of actual racism and misogyny as a result of predatory globalization and militarism.

Ironically, the global attacks on human dignity, human health and the environment were in proportion to the systematic and sometimes shrill calls for gender equity, anti-racism and climate ‘action’. The entire edifice of these ‘state religions’ leaves no room for required conflicts of class and expressly undermines any questioning of the mechanisms and consequences of globalization.

How dare Chick-Fil-A not cowtow to a ridiculously small but loud and bellicose segment of the population? What nerve! Not honoring and lauding those that engage in a perversion…I am speechless!
