Trump stepped into the middle of this cat fight too soon and he should have let it go on a while longer. The comments they made about each other would have degraded even further, so when he let loose his barrage of tweets, it would have been a bigger chasm for them to cross as they came to each others defense. SanFranNan holds a grudge a long, long time and she will remember what AOCD said about her.
I think Pelosi is going a bit soft in the head based on her demonstrated ability to be unable to form coherent sentences and get the words out when she is speaking. She may no longer have such a long memory.
