California Governor Blames Texas For California’s Policies That Caused The Homeless Crisis

Authored by Mac Slavo via SHTFplan.com,

California’s authoritarian governor, Gavin Newsom, blamed the state of Texas for California’s homeless crisis. Rather than put the blame directly on the policies California has instituted that stifle free enterprise and punish heavily those who produce, Newsom said it’s the fault of Texas.

Newsom said many homeless people on the streets of San Francisco are from Texas. in an attempt to shift the blame from himself and the polices of socialists (who get rich peddling socialism to the masses as everyone else becomes impoverished.)

Former California assemblyman turned Texas resident Chuck DeVore reacted to Newsom pushing the blame onto others. The vice president of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, Chuck DeVore, said Wednesday that Gavin Newsom is “responsible for the policies that have created California’s homeless crisis,” in the wake of the governor blaming Texas for San Francisco’s homeless crisis.

“What you’re seeing here are the words of a desperate man that we should almost feel sorry for,” DeVore, who served as a California assemblyman for six years, told “Fox & Friends.”

“Governor Gavin Newsom has been in office now for 22 straight years, starting at the San Francisco board of supervisors,” DeVore added. Homelessness has been rampant across the state of California in the past few years and merchants and homeowners have become increasingly vocal and incredibly irate at how things are going in the socialist dystopia.

Though San Francisco has more billionaires per capita than anywhere else in the world, its homeless problem has rivaled third-world nations, according to Fox News.  So much for all that “wealth inequality” the socialists are constantly pushing down the throats of the ignorant.  Government policies are the most to blame for San Francisco’s wealth inequality.

DeVore doubled down on this, saying that the government’s enslavement of the people of Californian is exactly why he left. He decided to leave California because of its “high cost of living [and] very burdensome regulations and taxes.”

“There’s more freedom in places like Texas, more opportunity to do what you want to do,” he said.

The sad truth is that socialism doesn’t work and it never has in all the times it’s been tried.  Humans are not meant to be slaves and eventually, they figure out that no one has a higher claim over their lives than they do.

That guy is an idiot so often that he makes Trump look like a genius…

To paraphrase– It’s Texas’s fault that all of the people who want to work and produce would logically live in Texas and all of those who are okay with breadcrumbs from government, handouts, charity and homelessness prefer to live in California where these things are more plentiful and acceptable.

You know, he’s sort of right although I’m not sure I would use the word “fault”

I am confused isn’t this the same politician who campaigned on healthcare for all….citizen, non-citizen, Texan or Californian? Isn’t this a wonderful opportunity to show how well the People’s Republic of California works……by welcoming any Texan or world citizen into CA!

Socialism implemented by government elites and their wealthy leftist supporters works great for them and of course their groups of parasitic minions working in government armed and otherwise .
The government elites have insulated themselves and their minions of supporters from the damage their policies create financially with lavish benefits of salary retirement and healthcare all underfunded in most cases and the debt loaded budget is satisfied by increasing taxes upon the productive and property owners . The government employees have salary increases the wealthy elites are unaffected by tax increases just due to their immense wealth and favorable tax laws and shelters written into law by the politically elected the wealthy elites own .
Notice in a financial crisis who gets bailed out at 100% and who’s retirement fund is wiped out labeled an unsecured debt .
Government employees politicians included will confiscate everything you ever thought you owned using AGW’s backed up by LEO’s take note all have a financial interest in picking you clean like buzzards on road kill .
The fact you are left destitute in the Street means nothing to those who benefit from socialism . However the excuses and the blame game and finger pointing will continue , it’s the blacks no it’s the Hispanics no it’s the racist blue eyed white devils no it’s those Muslims … Just a thought all those not in the socialist circle jerk get a clue , we are all niggers to them now suitable only to be used for their profit , fight their wars and die with the thanks of a grateful nation . Remember republican or Democrat are all the same to average Americans “ They Don’t Give A Fuck About You”

Make a distinction between ‘soshalism’ and socialism. Get out your history books and read. And stop flapping about “freedumb” , “liburdy” and “th free market” like you’re some kind of fucking Boomer. This ain’t Reagan country no more, people. It never was. He’s actually talking about the the conspiracy to hijack the use of a word “socialism” to ram down the throat of Europeans a particularly virulent strain of political control, lately called “bolschevism.” You people seem to think that if we just “let th market take care of this here problem” everything will be alright. Well, guess what? The market has decided that in the town I currently live, blowjobs are $2. Of course with any so-called “free market”, there is no mechanism to give people what they need instead of what they want. If people want $2 blowjobs, well, the market will supply. I want to make a point here; I am enough of a prude to make sure you know that I have not personally engaged in “free trade” here. I have just been marketed to. I was quick to notice as with any “free market” you get what you pay for not what you’d like. To anyone who criticizes this reply, please say something original, not something stupid and old peopleish like “Well, at least th porest peole in that town can get some kind of a blowjob.” Unless the people of Texas make ethical decisions instead of purely monetary ones, the homeless will come back to Texas. As a matter of fact, unless we all start making ethical decisions instead of purely monetary ones, the homeless are coming to a place near all of us.

I use the caveat, “It seems to me” often, because I am not an expert in much of anything. It seems to me the links or lack of them are more complex than even the experts see. You are familiar with the parable of the blind men describing an elephant. That is such a profound parable and deserves much more development. But to the point, ‘it seems to me’ that we must also make a distinction between the banking class and the manufacturing class or ‘plutarchs’ or ‘oligarchs’ if you prefer those terms. They are not necessarily the same and it would ‘seem’ to me that their interests would at times coincide and at times diverge. How much did the banking class finance the National Socialist party? How much did the banking class finance bolschevism in the Russian revolution and afterwards? Truth and knowledge are crying in the streets, as it says in the scripture and begging us to partake. Our degenerate culture has blinded us more than people have ever been blinded. We, then , cannot simply go out and pick up knowledge and truth as easily as ancient peoples could. It requires more time, more energy and more dedication than ever in the history of the world. I think the major lack of my people now, is a lack of hunger for the truth. My people have been told ‘they are very wise’ https://georgewbush-whitehouse.archives.gov/news/briefings/20010507.html and like fools have believed it. This, of course, will excuse anyone from searching for the truth in anything; for, after all he is very wise.

good answer–if you’re who i think you are, you’re just the man to write a helluva article about it–
as i understand it,the vanguard is pro nazi,both then/now–
wouldn’t they rather people keep thinking that american wealth financed nazi germany?

As I see it, history is not just a list of facts; on such and such a day Napoleon was exiled to St. Helena. There must be a narrative that arises from interpreting these events. Why did they happen? What were the circumstances surrounding them? You can’t have revisionist science in the same sense you have historical revisionism. Nobody is going to come up with a “free energy machine”. There are no laws inherent in the study of history that say, for example, that it is not possible that the National Socialists were able to pull off an economic miracle and put Germany back on its feel after World War I. This is obfuscated by saying the National Socialists had no real economic plans. That is simply not true. It is more likely that instead of financing the National Socialists, certain businessmen were willing to engage in business ventures in a nation that was quickly getting on its feet. The real story is found in the extreme willingness of financiers in the United States to finance and invest in bolschevik Russia; a government that was doing its best to utterly destroy the Rus, racially and economically.

As a matter of fact, technological and scientific progress seem to operate with a certain amount of revisionism. Scientists go to work everyday with the same assumptions and make small technological gains and everything is boring and humdrum then suddenly someone comes along and challenges all the old assumptions and a new paradigm is born that allows great progress. I think this is happening today in historical revisionism. Personally, I wouldn’t live in any other time.

pretty much agree w/you,esp about the financing of the commies–
were they ideological soulmates, did they have relationships w/some of the commies, blindly naive, greedy sob s who would sell their soul 4 a payday, who knows?
one of the problems that makes it tough to get real answers is both the people who want to protect the reputations of the financiers & the anti semitism (spell check says semitism is spelled wrong,f’em) that exists–is this document real or made up?
i also wonder who made the decision to pull our troops out of russia after we sent them in at the end of ww1?
could we have stopped communism in it’s tracks?

one more point-sometimes i say what if? about history–if this had changed or that person had died, etc.–
people ,including myself, often talk about the brutality of govt but sometimes they aren’t hard enough–
both hitler & lenin were sent to prison 4 fomenting revolution & were released after short sentences, what if one or both had been executed?
would the world be different today?

You almost list the actual problem of writing history – there is no objective “history” to be found. Let’s discuss the Punic Wars – as described by the victors, the Romans? Let’s discuss the Great Depression – from the viewpoint of the bankers, the destitute, the politicians, the industrialists? SOMEONE writes history – a person or small committee, generally; their biases, prejudices and grudges permeate it. WE might be objective about the Punic Wars, as we were not involved – but there is no information available from the Carthaginians, as they were defeated and their buildings razed, their lands sown with salt.
Now, let’s discuss historical revisionism – as PRACTICED. A rare and vanishingly small set of historians revise history for accuracy – let’s imagine, a new dig reveals that the Maya cultivated broccoli, previously unknown at that time in the Americas. Great, we know something now we did not before – and history is better for it. The vast majority of current “historians” revise history for IDEOLOGY – to suggest that something that DID NOT HAPPEN or WAS NOT PRESENT WAS PRESENT – example, the odious attempt by the NYT in the “1619” articles to revise pre-Revolutionary history. “It aims to reframe the country’s history, understanding 1619 as our true founding, and placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the very center of the story we tell ourselves about who we are.” Sorry, 13% of the population are the center of the story? 1619 was our true founding and not 1776?
SCREW THE NYT AND ALL THOSE WHO DISTORT / PERVERT HISTORY FOR THEIR OWN AGGRANDIZEMENT, IDEOLOGY AND PURPOSES.
Those who wish to destroy a country would be well to start by destroying its history, so that the current generation can be denied the wisdom of previous generations, and fall prey both to the previous mistakes (like socialism / communism) and new ones (like unlimited immigration).

Ecktually, California has invaded Texas balls deep into the Hill Country.

Gov Newsom is correct about the invasion from other climes into California. Many homeless folks are California dreaming because the place is warm and suitable for living in the street year-round. You can’t do that in NYC.

Texas is being overrun by Californians escaping all the Progressive Californian wonders. Now Texas is becoming the kind of overdeveloped shithole the Californians left. The Hill Country is now one massive subdivision of ugly McMansions and strip malls.
Texas on the south side is now Mexico.

Just about everything from CA is warped and genuinely funny these days. They no longer have any representative form of govt…. just tax sucking nitwits filling their pockets hoping for that day when they recede into their gate communities where will reside in safety until their demise. What they fail to recognize is that 5 guys could neutralize the gated aspect and effectively wipe them out in moments….fell better now?
That is the typical shortsighted mindset of CA and the inhabitants that allowed this situation to evolve…. return from this? not likely…. Probably skate around in the poop ion the streets till this ends – one way or another. Lucky CA and governor pitiful….

this is an interesting map i came across–it’s an interactive map that shows the # of vacant housing units by state–
cali has over a million vacancies–why can’t newsome start buying some of these units & allow the homeless to stay there?
would he have a revolt on his hands?
a # that is interesting here,fl has more empty units than any state–
