Ship with Climate Change Warriors caught in ice, Warriors evacuated
Arctic tours ship MS MALMO with 16 passengers on board got stuck in ice on Sep 3 off Longyearbyen, Svalbard Archipelago, halfway between Norway and North Pole. The ship is on Arctic tour with Climate Change documentary film team, and tourists, concerned with Climate Change and melting Arctic ice. All 16 Climate Change warriors were evacuated by helicopter in challenging conditions, all are safe. 7 crew remains on board, waiting for Coast Guard ship assistance.
Something is very wrong with Arctic ice, instead of melting as ordered by UN/IPCC, it captured the ship with Climate Change Warriors.

People should never be rescued from their own stupidity. They could’ve learned a valuable lesson if they all froze to death. Plus the gene pool would improve.

This was caused by climate change. From what I’ve read in the NYT it makes things colder where they need to be warmer and warmer where they need to be colder

The rescue should have at least been delayed until there was a reimbursement agreement for the CO2 expended by the rescuers. One of the only times I would support an extremely high CO2 price.
I do actually wonder if this is enough to make any of the participants re-think their religion. What is the possibility that any of them go, “Wow, there sure was a lot of ice in the middle of summer in the ice-free by 2010 arctic!”

my wife & daughter were on a cruise in june that stopped in svalbard for a day or so & they did a couple of day trips–
they had hoped to see a polar bear but they don’t come around in the summer,at least not often–
we libertarians like svalbard because it was an example of how a society could operate w/o govt being involved–
they were an island chain that weren’t claimed by any country but after ww1 they were given to norway ,supposedly to keep them from russia–
