Violate Your Oath And Turn On American Citizens At Your Legal Peril, Gun-Grabbers

There has been a lot of talk about whether our law enforcement (and our military) would follow the orders of those like that furry fascist Beto to unleash a reign of terror upon innocent American citizens who the liberal elite’s unconstitutional gun decrees would turn into felons. Most of our heroic cops and warriors would hold true to their oaths to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. But some pathetic worms would willingly, even eagerly betray their oaths and make war upon their own people. They need to know there will be consequences.

No, not the physical danger that collaborators would inevitably face enforcing such illegal commands, though we’ve seen the bloody results of such tyranny before and it sure won’t be The Waco Kid going through the door. This is about the other consequences of abandoning one’s oath. It is about the consequences that would come when the rule of law returns and justice demands to be done. Because there will be an accounting before the law for anyone who swore to defend the Constitution and then willingly does the opposite.

As you know, if you are law enforcement or military, you have a non-delegable duty to assess every order you receive and to refuse unlawful ones. And the Constitution is unequivocal that busting into a house to disarm peaceful Americans is a no-go.

What your oath requires you to do – or to refuse to do – in that scenario is clear. What you will do if faced with the choice is the only question. And you who will face this question better ask yourselves right now where you stand. It’s a hard question and an unfair one – you should never be put in that position, but life is hard and unfair.

What will you do?

About 40 percent of you will loudly and clearly refuse to obey any illegal orders. That’s the response we citizens expect. Yeah, you will have to risk your retirement, but you bought that risk when you took the oath. We expect you to take whatever hit comes with keeping it, and getting fired for not attacking other Americans is a bitter pill but one you agreed to swallow. It sure isn’t the bitterest pill you might face. After all, if some psycho is shooting up a high school, we expect you to go in and kill him or die trying. Move to the sound of the guns. We don’t care if he’s got a M240 and you’ve got a .22 derringer.

Worst case, you pop some caps at him and end up taking bullets a kid would have taken. That’s your duty, and we expect you to do it. That’s why you get the big bucks. That’s also why you get our sincere respect and admiration. So, if keeping your oath means getting fired – or court-martialed – well, duty calls. Hopefully, after the tables turn, we can make it right for you.

Now, about 40 percent more of them will covertly resist. They won’t yell or make a scene or quit. They will practice a bit of what the great Glenn “Instapundit” Reynolds calls “Irish Democracy.” They’ll nod and smile and simply not cooperate. They’ll gum up the works, overlook violators, work slowly – generally get all DMV on their gun-grabbing superiors. Look at the cops today in big blue cities who know that their brass doesn’t have their backs while the politicians do – right in their sights. These flatfoots pantomime their patrols and pretend to police, but they don’t. Not really. They see trouble and hit the gas, or watch the chaos unfold from their vehicles, and the crime rate rises, but they go home safe. Irish democracy.

And then there’s the 20 percent who would salute and obey unlawful orders to assault fellow Americans. You know the type – there are some in every unit. These contemptible weasels might do it because of weakness or a desire to get ahead by pleasing those in power. Statistically, there will always be some blue falcons, and since honor and duty were not enough to hold them to their solemn promise to the American people, then the consequences of their betrayal will have to.

Once the madness of the unconstitutional oppression the Democrats are promising passes, as it will, there will be an accounting before the law. Maybe the oath-breakers will be bankrupted in lawsuits. Maybe they will rot in prison. But the second any protectors who we Normal people revere turn against us, the deference, the benefit of the doubt we offer them for making tough calls in tough situations disappears. When the Waco massacre happened, the American people were stunned. We never imagined that horrific scenario. We never thought that maybe our premier law enforcement agencies might be in the wrong. And no one paid the price for those dozens of children who were burned alive. But today, after the leadership of the FBI lit up the agency’s reputation playing political games for its Democrat pals, we’re all watching. Maybe a Democrat administration can block accountability for a few years, but it cannot forever. We will remember. We will demand justice. If you’re a cop on the street, do you think the elite’s going to protect you like it protected that Looming Doofus Comey?

Remember, the Normal Americans who Beto and his pals presume to unleash their forces upon are the same people who show up for jury duty. And a lawyer like me only has to convince some of them that you were wrong to go barging into some guy’s house because you thought he had naughty pew-pews, and you can kiss your life savings good-bye. Oh, and that’s if you are lucky. Pray you don’t hurt someone and get a DA willing to charge you criminally. Because, “Well, I knew what I was doing was unconstitutional but I was too weak to say ‘No’” will not cut it.

“I was just following orders” stopped working at the end of the rope in Nuremberg. Today, you have a bad shoot in a raid on some drug dealer and you get our benefit of the doubt because you’re our knight and it’s a tough job. But if you smoke some 12-year-old for twitching after you break down her daddy’s door because somebody thinks maybe he’s got a scary black rifle somewhere in his condo then you’re the bad guy.

You.

Is saving your pension worth that risk?

Or will you choose the hard road of upholding your oath if ordered to make war on your fellow Americans?

How many Oath Keepers do you know?

Don’t tell.

I have used the Nuremberg statement many times only to be criticized for being ridiculous . My point has always been that just following orders or just doing my job is about as flimsy half witted excuse anyone can make . The public trust of law enforcement and other armed government agents in America has been violated far too many times . Flying a blue stripe flag and claiming hero status for all is utter nonsense . Certainly many in law enforcement do a respectable job , that is your job .
Doing your chosen profession well regularly is expected and rewarded with salary and benefits . If you want a pat on the back or praises sung for doing the right thing go back to kindergarten !
When one bad cop pulls a stunt or action that another cop witnessed and rather than report it but turns his or her head and snickers now there are two bad cops and when others hear of it over beers and laugh now the whole unit is bad . One rotten apple can and will spoil the barrel .
So remember all you LEO’s out there when you receive an order you know in your heart is questionable at best or at worst total bull shit do your duty and refuse and resist . Or at least put a swastika arm band on so all can see who and what you really are !

Sometimes you can judge just how serious a matter is by how much silence there is regarding the subject. When people on both sides start screaming and using their vocal chords and keyboards it normally means little action from both parties. When one side is doing all the screaming and the other is nearly silent, not marching, and not threatening, action is imminent. It is normally unexpected, fast and very effective. Compare it to a schoolyard bully or a bar fight. The person that starts it is normally the one waking up on his ass.

So the article is focused solely on democrats and Beto, while Bolshevik Trump and his family is right along beside them in taking your guns via Soviet style red flag laws?

Cognitive dissonance at your own peril!

Kurt, “Because there will be an accounting before the law for anyone who swore to defend the Constitution and then willingly does the opposite.” You know this is absolute BULLSHIT! Where is the “accounting before the law” for Lois Learner, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Andrew Mcabe, Peter Strozck, Bruce and Nellie Ohr, et al???? Crickets, that’s all I hear. There is no equal justice under the law. And the FACT that a republican administration cannot make right what was wronged under a corrupt democrat administration is all the evidence you need. Sorry, but I don’t see this “accounting” you’re talking about happening anytime soon. Unfortunately, the accounting will only occur before God… Chip

Exactly. It would take only one juror who thinks gun confiscation is an acceptable means to Utopia to thwart the conviction of an armed government worker – in the extremely unlikely event that one were ever prosecuted. The Nuremberg trials weren’t decided by a jury of random Germans. If they had been, no one would have been convicted of anything.

Schlichter lives in Southern California. He knows he’s outnumbered by leftists there, but I think he’s under the misapprehension that a vast swath of this continental nation thoroughly opposes the elites’ goals. He assumes the flyover Normals will arise and defend what’s left of the country so that he can keep living close to the ocean until he finally decides it’s bugout time. The truth is that Beto almost won a US senate seat from Texas and the formerly red state of Arizona just selected as its senator the democrat lesbian over the Republican lesbian veteran. By the time Schlichter bugs out for the Heritage America he assumes is out there somewhere between Pittsburgh and Las Vegas, he may find that, save for a couple of redoubts in Oklahoma and Wyoming, it no longer exists.

Depending on how spicey things get, the popo will act accordingly. Read Selco for some ideas of how the cops react in times of stress. He made mention of a brutal gang of looters who killed with impunity and stole what they wanted and….they were all former cops.

22winmag w/o tagline

That Selco-Snyder shit has been floating around online for 5+ years and it’s getting really tired.

I’m mean I guess you have to read it once if you don’t already know how bad the American and Yugoslav civil wars were in the border areas.

Selco-Snyder and crap like that is just doom porn to the vast majority of Americans who get winded walking to the mailbox.

The numbers on this one are mistaken, I think. 20% gung-ho, 70% get-along/go along, 10% just quit and head out with their hides intact.

The sway of losing retirement and benefits immediately trump a guilty conscience for most people most of the time. And as soon as it is done once… well it gets easier every time.

Around here, the po-po drive a cruiser home most of the time. Interesting it is that we know where thy live and, for the most part, when they are home. Good family men and women, many of them. They love their families, and would not want any harm to come to them. Worrying about their homes and families would be debilitating, and make concentrating on the hard work of violating civil rights much more difficult. And it would not be possible for security to be posted at every AGW domicile.

Lord knows that we all want things to smooth out but… something will give if the gun-grabbers get to the top of the heap. That would bring on some really hard choices. Ugly things. We won’t start it, but we can damn sure make them think about what they have to lose. Collateral damage, etc. etc. Damn shame all around, I think.

Montefrio

With all due respect, Mr. Reilly, even veiled threats against a hostile’s family are out of bounds. That’s how it has come to roll in Colombia and Mexico both countries in which I’ve lived and seen go down the tubes in certain ways. Once one decides “anything goes”, one has gone over to the dark side. There was a reason and a code that led to “women and children first” in lifeboats. I’m prepared to honor that code even against allies. There are some things that are just not to be done or one’s cherished beliefs are nothing more than noise.

James the Wanderer

You are missing something I think. THE FEDS will not respect families when TSHTF, far from it; I can imagine scenarios where the po-po KIDNAP the family members of patriots, to exert more pressure on them to defect / stand down. We all know what a joke and a malicious fraud the CPS are; how long until children of the III% are taken to neutralize the parents? And when the SWAT team comes to visit, how many patriots have an armory of equal value?
When one side has a huge advantage of men, material and money, assymetrical warfare is a given. When enough patriot families pay the price of freedom, the price of tyranny will go way, way up. But NEVER threaten anyone; just do it, in silence and obscurity. Once a few oppressors fall, the rest will either quit or double down; and there on, until one side wins.
It’s NOT a good scenario; it’s not justice, and certainly not FAIR. But it’s the only way the other side understands, so we are stuck with it too. I don’t want to kill anyone, and won’t until I have to; but those who think I am sheep will learn “home invasions” at my place are a sure trip to the cemetary, one way only.

I read as far as, “…Most of our heroic cops and warriors would hold true to their oaths…” and stopped. First, cops are rarely if ever heroic. The author furthers what I term the corruption of the heroic. Second, and more important, he cannot substantiate his statement re holding true to their oaths. Observation of police behavior, as reported in both mainstream- and alt-media shows that cops generally tend to brutalize the citizenry. As regards the military, one need only recall various filmed incidents of military-civilian encounters in the hurricane Katrina aftermath to observe just how the military view their civilian counterparts.

When the chips are down, your reliance would be better placed with close associations of your family and neighbors rather than with the unionized/institutionalized “enforcers.”

Violate your oath and turn on American citizens at your peril, progressives. (fixed it for you) Enforcers who must be held accountable include more than uniformed Cheka. They include journalists, preachers educators bankers and politicians. These are the people who make it possible for the headline politicians. They can’t all be protected and they need to know that.
To bad I am to old to be part of that.

If their oath contains the pledge to “serve and protect”then cops voluntarily violate it every day. One example is Charlottesville where the Donut Defenders actuality herded peaceful protesters into an Antifa abash.People were severely hurt and even directly caused the death of one innocent bystander. Apparently no pledge is more important than a cops proclivity to serve the interests of those who control their paychecks. Muh career trumps your right to exist.

“Irish democracy”, eh? I’m an Irish citizen and remember the old Ireland well. The reason the Garda was able to “ignore” certain crimes was that the “unofficial” moral and Natural law enforcer was the IRA before its Marxist wing took command. I guess these days that call it “street justice” or “vigilantism”, but it worked. The thought of the Garda disarming IRA folks is cognitive dissonance at its finest!

Where did “40%” come from? I wish I had the faith in USA LEOs that you do, Mr. S., but I don’t. Man do I wish I did!

https://abc7.com/lasd-deputies-say-they-were-beaten-by-fellow-deputies/5551266/

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Two Los Angeles County deputies who say they were beaten and strangled to the point they believed they might die spoke exclusively to Eyewitness News.

“I knew I was losing consciousness. I knew that at the moment I was being overpowered. So I did feel like I was being killed,” says one of the injured deputies.

In all, eight deputies are demanding $60 million in a new lawsuit against Los Angeles County and four fellow deputies they say are members of the “Banditos” deputy gang.

“We’re hoping that the county and the Sheriff’s Department finally changes, finally fixes what they admit has been a problem for 50 years,” says their attorney Vincent Miller. “It’s unbelievable to anyone on the outside that you’d have gang-member cops.”

According to the lawsuit, the attack took place after a party at Kennedy Hall last September that was sanctioned by the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station.

The deputies say the deputy clique or gang ran the East Los Angeles station like a criminal enterprise – controlling schedules, demanding donations and pressuring recruits to make arrests even if they were bad ones.

Deputies say the gang strictly enforces a code of silence.

“People see what’s going on with us – how we are now being treated – and they are afraid to talk,” says a deputy plaintiff who did not want to be identified.

County officials vow to get to the bottom of this issue once and for all, but previous attempts have gone nowhere. An outright ban on deputy cliques or secret societies raises First Amendment issues.

“I do think that Sheriff McDonnell wanted to address this issue and that past boards have not always had the appetites to take this issue on,” says former federal prosecutor Miriam Krinsky who worked with McDonnell on jail reform.

On Tuesday, researchers with the nonprofit RAND corporation unveiled their plans for a year-long study of deputy subgroups in the LASD at a meeting of the Civilian Oversight Commission. Researchers expect to conduct interviews with LASD leaders, community members and anonymously survey all 10,000 sworn members of the department.

Meanwhile, the LASD’s chief watchdog, Inspector General Max Huntsman, told commissioners he’s ready to conduct a separate investigation, but needs subpoena power to get at the truth.

“I’m not backing down, I’m not slowing down,” Huntsman told the commissioners. “I think it’s crazy that we have an elected sheriff stating publicly that there are no secret societies, only station tattoos. Given what we all know publicly, given what happened with the Banditos that is common knowledge.”

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is exploring how they can expand the Inspector General’s authority to include subpoena power, which would give him the ability to force witnesses to talk.

Alarm among county leaders has been fueled by the millions in taxpayer dollars they’ve doled out to settle claims over the decades.

“For 50 years, the Sheriff’s Department has not addressed this problem,” said Huntsman. “And management has actually supported them by enforcing a code of silence. That is a 50-year problem — it didn’t just arise with our new sheriff.”

With public outcry rising, county supervisors passed a motion earlier this year that blasts all past sheriffs for failing to root out the gangs. The board is demanding a full account of past gang or clique-related incidents and how much they cost the county.

Sheriff Villanueva has acknowledged the role of the “Banditos” and earlier this year told Eyewitness News he removed key members of the clique and the station’s former captain.

“Pretty much they were calling the shots, they were dictating the decisions of the station and that has had a very bad outcome obviously,” said Villanueva said in June.

Attorney Vincent Miller says Villanueva’s claim to have transferred 36 people out of the East Los Angeles station was contradicted by the current East Los Angeles Captain Ernie Chavez.

“The reality is there were only a few Banditos that were actually transferred out of the station,” says Miller.

Villanueva presented a draft policy months ago that prohibits deputies from joining “any group which promotes conduct that violates the rights of employees or members of the public.”

Eyewitness News asked the LASD for an update on the draft policy, but did not receive an answer.

“It is embarrassing to know that the agency I work for hasn’t done anything to fix the problem,” says a plaintiff.

One of the alleged Banditos accused in the lawsuit is Deputy Gregory Rodriquez. He was previously fired for allegedly falsifying a police report. He was prosecuted, but at trial the jury deadlocked and the case was later dismissed. The man who was jailed based on that report sued the department and won a $549,000 settlement.

Rodriguez got his job back and returned to the East Los Angeles Station just months before the Kennedy Hall attack in September 2018. The other defendants named in the lawsuit are Deputy Rafael “Rene” Munoz, Deputy David Silverio and Sgt. Mike Hernandez. The LASD says all four are on paid administrative leave.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office says the criminal case involving those deputies and the attack at Kennedy Hall is still under review.

No American soldier or police officer is under any obligation to obey an unlawful order. That is a fact. Should the Democrats gain power and attempt to impose illegal, unconstitutional policies each officer and soldier will have to follow their own conscience. This happened in Spain in 1936 when extreme leftist radicals set out to “fundamentally transform” Spain, sneering at the opposition of conservative, traditional Spaniards. The leftist Democrats would be wise to ponder what actually happened. They “fundamentally transformed” Spain all, right, but not as they had imagined. After a bloody civil war the other side won. The leftists would could not scamper over the border into France or claw their way onto a ship ended up in front of a firing squad or in a stinking prison for many years. Spain was “transformed” into a hard right dictatorship that lasted for decades. Soldier and cops who chose wrong paid with their lives or freedom. Be careful what you wish for. Wishes sometimes come true.

At this point, fuck the Constitution.

It’s set the country on the course it’s on right up to present day.

Oaths are a joke and the Oath Keepers are a laughable PR-Psyop operation that has changed absolutely positively nothing over the years.

No cops quitting in disgust.

No brass resigning over political sausage.

Here’s my take on the Oath Keepers, by the way. We won’t take your guns during the next Katrina, PROMISE, but for now it’s back to no-knock raids, overtime salaries with retirement, and STATUS QUO above all else.

No change in the “Law Enforcement are lepers” atmosphere in the country, and I’ve had enough solider worship of active duty military fucktards in their 20s to last me a lifetime.

I was once one of those fuckard 20 somethings in a US Army USA-EUR combat outfit and trust me, maybe 1 in 50 men in my unit was really worth his salt, let alone worthy of generalized praise.
