For those too ignorant or too full of cognitive dissonance here is a short understanding for ya..
It is Saturday morning and I like to wake up early so I had set my iPhone alarm to wake me at 5am. (Apple now knows what time i woke). I grab my iPhone and head to the kitchen and turn the coffee maker on (it wirelessly informs several other kitchen appliances, Alexa and my iPhone denotes this too). I open the fridge (it sends a signal to other kitchen appliances and my iPhone) and to grab a few items. Yogurt, orange juice, some blueberries. When I shut the fridge door the RFID signal on the packages I took out were read by the fridge so it knows what was removed and at what time. Now apple and others know, with near certainty who was up, rummaging in the fridge and what they took out. (Ok I think you get the point of “breakfast in the new age” so let’s move on. )
I go to my closet and grab blue jeans a button down shoes belt. Each has an RFID from the retail location I purchased as does my cleaners who placed a very small RFID barcode on each garment for tracking purposes. Both these signals are tracked by my iPhone, wifi signals, kitchen appliances etc. The kitchen appliances are still snooping on me so they can sell my activity tracking information to other retailers. Seems if you purchased a microwave for hundreds of dollars you should get a huge discount if they informed you they were going to spy on you and sell your activity or at least offer a choice of no spying. Seems every single thing I buy, with MY hard earned money, is now making money OFF ME. But I digress.
Anyway, I head out to the basement and every door has a sensor from my home security. It can track every door that opens and infrared movement. It tracks me via door openings going to the basement and the motion sensor follows my every move. I open my safe grab my gun and head to my vehicle. With the fridge, microwave, coffee maker, doors and motion sensors, iPhone, Alexa and numerous other things now tracking me, my car now gets involved. The hands free portion of my entertainment system recognizes me and my voice. The car starts and the little black box, gps, phone system are all on me like a bloodhound. I am tracked to every location I go, every traffic signal camera, and every light I stop at. Every song I listen too whether sad or upbeat is denoted, filed, logged. I pass near businesses and all my data is shared with them and to their own security cameras. Yet, Here I am thinking nobody knows where I am, where I am going, what I am listening to, what I am thinking, or what I am about to do. I was truly enjoying my weekend and looking forward to spending quality time with my wife and kids.
Over the past week, a stressful week at that, I needed some quite relaxing woods time. I had decided to go for aa short hike. I had brought my gun because it was coyote mating season and they can get aggressive. As I was driving down the nearly abandoned country road I see blue lights in my rear view mirror. I pull over. A loud speaker comes on and demands I throw the gun out of the car and step out slowly. I have done nothing wrong and do not understand and certainly do not want to scratch up my $7,500 .22 nearly rusted revolver. I have a permit and am not a threat. So I decided to open the door and the last thing I remember before being shot to death was loud banging.
The ensuing investigation and media narrative was they “knew” I had a stressful week and was planning on hurting, someone, or myself. That I had chosen to “die by cop” instead. Even though the sweet note I had left my wife and kids stating I was going hiking and will bring my revolver just in case because coyotes were in abundance since hunting was outlawed and how much I loved them and looked forward to picking them up in a few hours to go to the local town fair. Well, that was all but ignored and explained away. It did not fit the narrative that guns are evil and people that own them have them or even like them are borderline unstable at a minimum.
What nobody was asking is how did the officer “know” I had a gun? “Why” did the officer feel I was a threat at that time due to a stressful week? Amongst any other questions at all.
It did not matter, I was dead, my family lost, kids life changed forever and my reputation as a gun wielding mad man will forever follow my family and negatively affect them until they die. When others see this example, they will all, like rank and file, stiffen up and toe the line of compliance for surely they do not want a similar situational issue or outcome because they all deep down realize they are being tracked but they ignore it because Clash of Clans is just so addictive and gives you something to do for the 38 seconds you must be alone in public while waiting on friends to park their car.
Welcome to your new life and country controlled by algorithms vs the Constitution. Hope you really get a full mouthful of it, so much in fact it makes you sick. You deserve it all.

so true as to be really scarey; especially the gun part.
I take solace in the fact I’ve had a great life … as have most of us who read this website. Not only have we lived during the most prosperous period in global history. We also were fortunate having been born on the most prosperous continent to boot. We should all be grateful to God for this. I do feel empathy for all those younger than us who will have to endure what comes next.
Are you dead yet? Then, please, do not go gently into that good night. Let me tell you something, our descendants will curse us for THIS. Be grateful to God for the things that he gives and this isn’t one of them! It seems to me that prosperity traded for liberty is an unbalanced trade and a pitiful one. It boggles the mind as to the lax attitude the Sheeple have regarding their privacy. My adult children, with the exception of my youngest son, all think it’s funny that Mom and Dad are so “Old-Fashioned”. My NEWEST vehicle, (excluding my ’16 Harley Softail), is a 2005 Accord, with my Suburban and pickup both being mid ’90’s.
I’ll admit to having an Android Smart Phone, but am pretty remiss in either turning it on, or for that matter, taking it with me when I go somewhere. It’s just not that important. The only other “Smart” appliances I own are my TV’s, but Mrs. Ed put tape over the cameras, and I’ve never hooked them up to my Wi-Fi. Everything else is Old Tech, and none of it will ever be replaced. The great thing about being a Merchant Marine Engineer is that over the years I’ve developed the skill set to repair pretty much anything I own, which I’ll keep doing until I can no longer physically do so.
I build my own Computers for Combat Flight Sims and Internet perusal purposes, so I know that, although they can track my “Missions” and “Kills”, along with my browsing history, they CAN’T listen to or watch me, except to hear what I say through my headset to my “Wingman”…….
I’ve got a Social Media presence, and given my Conservative Rhetoric, I’m sure that I’m on several “Lists”, but Fuck-em, I’m still “nominally” protected by the First and Second Amendments….. I sure as hell don’t EVER post any photos of my weapons, WHICH WERE ALL LOST IN AN UNFORTUNATE BOATING ACCIDENT LATE LAST YEAR!!!!, (see, now I’ve thrown Washington State off the scent. Pretty Good, Huh?). Haven’t been able to bring myself to remove the “μολὼν λαβέ” bumper stickers from my vehicles, but only one of them is spelled out in Western Letters, as most Left Coast Liberals have no idea how to understand Greek, or for THAT matter, Latin either. Unless they’re some Schiffty Liberal Lawyer….. That one will probably be the reason for an untimely demise at the hands of the Seattle Gestapo……. Oh well, it’s been a good life…..
The young have been brainwashed by the media to the point they will welcome the ” beast system” with open arms. Either 2020 or 2024 will be the last time we ever have a Republican President or at least someone who will allow us to keep the second amendment. The communist are going to do their best to kill what’s left of the constitution.Us traditional Americans are going to have to fight a war or break the country apart in order to keep what we have. I can’t see any way this ends without bloodshed.
I am grateful to have lived in a safe , peaceful ,mostly white nation that has been ruined on purpose but the very ones we entrusted to protect our country. I hate those son of a bitches with a hate that knows no end. We have been betrayed and sabotaged . I don’t know what else to say.
All of my kids, (36-31 years old now), are pretty staunchly Conservative, (My youngest being even more so than me. He wants to give all the Seattle Antifa Helicopter Rides ala Pinochet), and they’re raising THEIR kids with the same sense of Moral Compass. Almost brings a tear to my eye….. AND they’re procreating at a rate greater than Replacement Pace, as did my wife and I. Unfortunately, they’re Pebbles trying to stem The Tide…… I fear for the world my grandkids will inherit……

My geezer community has contracted, bundled internet, phone and cable. Residents are free to solicit anyone else for additional cost, but that’s included in the base HOA fee. Of course, the cable is “upgraded” periodically meaning the evil corporate giant downloads all manner of things, things which threaten my privacy such as Google Assistant or say Alexa.
While most of my fellow geezers view it as a welcome convenience because the America they know and understand would never spy on them, record their conversations or sell sensitive personal data, I phone our “provider” to protest this egregious violation of my privacy without my knowledge or consent. Representative on the other end of the line is upset, confused and makes sure I know that, “No one else has EVER complained.” Really? Consider this the inaugural, boy. Americans do deserve what they get.
Have DVDs, will yank the plug and go truly old fart-old school on their asses. No smartphones allowed, nothing allowed in this home w/out my permission.
Its already here. I tried warning others and like you banned from traffic, all due to algorithms… similar to your story (above) happened to me. I don’t own any of the above. They’re using the plugged in home phone and ethernet IOT and smart dust (paraplegic Wm Binney, former 30 yr NSA Whistleblower) is also targeted. So too is Karen Stewart, 28 years NSA. David Voigt, former Annapolis NAVY grad also targeted.
You tell me. We’ve been under open corruption since the Bushes/Clintons/Obama/Biden none of them real leaders. Its the policy makers behind the scenes for the global world order.

PS — They not only killed my husband; used him for medical experimentation making millions, they came after me two weeks prior to a settlement conference. My evidence: OSHA proven and by a Judge, 100% not his fault (his death). The law firm I went up against was out of that hellhole DC, a top ten law firm hired to go up against me. They made sure, with their techno-hell system that I never seen the light of a court day.
