“Thinking doesn’t pay. Just makes you discontented with what you see around you.”Robert A. Heinlein, Stranger in a Strange Land

When I read quotes by men like H.L. Mencken and Robert Heinlein, I realize I’m not really a stranger in a strange land, even though I feel that way most of the time. These cynical, critical thinking, libertarian minded gentlemen understood government tended towards corruption and tyranny, the populace tended towards ignorance and distraction, and reality eventually teaches a harsh lesson to fools, knaves and dumbasses.

Sometimes we think the current day worldly circumstances are new and original, when human nature, politicians, and governments never really change. When Mencken and Heinlein were writing and providing social commentary during the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, they observed the same fallacies, foolishness, lack of self-responsibility, government malfeasance, and inability of the majority to think critically, that are rampant in society today.

The quotes above, written during the 1950s, are even more pertinent today. As the ongoing Surveillance State attempted coup against president Trump approaches its denouement, the fabric of this country is being torn asunder. It is the secrecy in which the Deep State has operated without oversight which has led to government tyranny. Julian Assange and Edward Snowden exposed the secrets of powerful interests operating within the CIA, NSA, FBI, White House, Congress and military industrial complex, revealing the malevolent disregard for the Constitutional rights of American citizens and wielding of power for power’s sake.

The collection of all electronic communications by Americans by all-powerful, unaccountable Deep State psychopaths is worse than anything conceived by Orwell in 1984. The fact Assange and Snowden are treated as traitors and criminals reveals the Deep State is still in control of our political and legal systems. Even though Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Clinton and Obama used their Deep State power to try and overthrow Trump, he still toes the company line by calling Assange and Snowden criminals. Government tyranny is still going strong.

Heinlein’s point about thinking is well taken. When you look at what is going on in this country and around the world with a critical eye, how could you not be discontented with what you see. We have government run schools inhabited by social justice engineers, teaching our children there are 47 genders, but not basic math or how to read and spell. We have the masses glorying in their ignorance as they worship silicone inflated shallow idols and vote for socialists and communists to provide them with free shit.

Meanwhile, the national debt just surpassed $23 trillion, annual deficits will never fall below $1 trillion again, the $200 trillion of unfunded unpayable welfare liabilities are ignored, the Fed and other central banks are printing at hyper-speed to achieve 2% GDP growth (at least the stock market is at all-time highs – making the .1% happy), and half the country despises the other half.

I find myself trying not to think because I just get angry about virtually everything I see. As a libertarian minded person who saw the vile mistreatment and abusive lies flung at one of the few decent human beings in politics – Ron Paul – there is absolutely nothing being done by the despicable dung merchants in Washington D.C. or the feckless financiers inhabiting the Eccles building which benefit myself, my children or future generations.

The raping and pillaging of the national wealth go on unabated, by billionaires, operating in the shadows, utilizing the mechanisms of the Deep State and carried out by highly compensated lackeys in NYC and D.C. The military industrial complex resists all efforts by Trump to extract U.S. forces from the Middle East, as never-ending war fills their coffers with profits. Even though we proclaim energy independence, we somehow seem to need Syrian oil. Even though everyone knows the Saudis are evil fuckers, we continue to kiss their ass for oil.

The vast majority of Americans choose not to think, not because it would cause them discontent, but because they are incapable of critical thought. Our joke of an educational system has taught generations of Americans how to feel, rather than how to think. Government controlled schools serve the purposes of the Deep State – dumb down the populace through social engineering, rewarding mediocrity, obscuring history, punishing critical thinking, feminizing boys and drugging those who don’t conform.

The dumbing down of the masses makes them pliable and easily manipulated through the mass media propaganda spewed from the boob tube and social media conglomerates. The unholy alliance between big tech, big media and big government keeps the masses uninformed, misinformed and distracted by meaningless minutia. The truth is hidden and obscured at all costs. A huge swath of populace will unquestioningly believe whatever they are told to believe, while millions more are so distracted with their iGadgets, they aren’t even paying attention.

The ruling class doesn’t want people thinking why they have used the military industrial complex in securing Syrian oil fields, supporting Saudi aggression, threatening Iran, attempting a coup in Venezuela, creating havoc in the Ukraine, occupying Afghanistan, and treating Russia and China as imminent threats, when their narrative is we are self-sufficient with regards to oil. The propaganda press peddles half truths about being a net exporter, when we still import 6 million barrels of oil per day.

The fracking miracle is really a miracle that hundreds of companies could issue junk bonds as they lose money on every barrel pumped out of the ground. The Fed’s easy money “solution” just blew another bubble in fracking. The oligarchs know it’s a farce, that’s why they are using the military to secure oil around the world by creating chaos and then making the world safe for democracy by bombing the shit out of the Middle East.

Heinlein published Stranger in a Strange Land in 1961, even though the original idea was conceived in 1948 as a modernized version of Kipling’s The Jungle Book, with the child raised by Martians instead of wolves. He didn’t think society was ready for the themes he tackled during the button downed 1950s. The cultural revolution of the 1960s saw a broader acceptance of questioning government power, organized religion, and what individual freedom and liberty meant in society.

The story focuses on a human raised on Mars and his adaptation to and understanding of humans and their culture. It is set in a post-Third World War United States, where organized religions are politically powerful. There is a World Federation of Free Nations, including the demilitarized US, with a world government supported by Special Service troops. Heinlein sure had a perceptive view of the future, as world government is still the goal of globalists and organized religions are more corrupt and powerful than ever.

Heinlein always considered himself a libertarian. In a letter written in 1967 he said, “As for libertarian, I’ve been one all my life, a radical one. You might use the term ‘philosophical anarchist’ or ‘autarchist’ about me, but ‘libertarian’ is easier to define and fits well enough.” The theme of personal freedom resonates throughout his body of work. Heinlein repeatedly addressed certain social themes: the importance of individual liberty and self-reliance, the nature of sexual relationships, the obligation individuals owe to their societies, the influence of organized religion on culture and government, and the tendency of society to repress nonconformist thought.

Much like Mencken, Orwell, and Steinbeck, as Heinlein aged, he became more cynical about government and society. He feared our culture and form of government was fatally flawed. Again, he foresaw where we are today – having lost freedoms, liberties, and rights as government laws, regulations and taxes have expanded.

“At the time I wrote Methuselah’s Children I was still politically quite naive and still had hopes that various libertarian notions could be put over by political processes … It [now] seems to me that every time we manage to establish one freedom, they take another one away. Maybe two. And that seems to me characteristic of a society as it gets older, and more crowded, and higher taxes, and more laws.” Robert Heinlein

Government Power, Corruption and Tyranny

“Democracy is a poor system of government at best; the only thing that can honestly be said in its favor is that it is about eight times as good as any other method the human race has ever tried. Democracy’s worst fault is that its leaders are likely to reflect the faults and virtues of their constituents – a depressingly low level, but what else can you expect?” ― Robert A. Heinlein, Stranger in a Strange Land

“Government! Three-fourths parasitic and the rest stupid fumbling.” ― Robert A. Heinlein, Stranger in a Strange Land

When I read Heinlein’s view of democracy, the American populace, and politicians from the 1950s, it makes me wonder whether my cynical pessimistic assessment of our country is nothing new. Has the country been wallowing in ignorance, lack of virtue, parasitic politicians and government incompetence for decades and my depression with the current state of affairs is nothing new among libertarian minded people?

Since human nature never changes, with a certain percentage of the population driven by greed, a psychotic thirst for power, craving for control over the masses, and unwillingness to govern while keeping the interests of future generations under consideration, I guess it’s just the level of intensity that matters. The cyclical nature of history is pointing towards the intensity level of discontent reaching a crescendo in the near future.

Even though corruption among government parasites has always existed, it currently permeates the system like a vampire squid on the face of America. It’s the invisible government of the Deep State which has sucked the life from our nation, extracting the national wealth in cahoots with its conduit – The Federal Reserve.

The Deep State, utilizing corrupted politicians and feckless bureaucrats within the halls of Congress and surveillance state agencies, have been conducting a three-year coup against a sitting president. The blatant disregard for the Constitution and rule of law shows the ruling class is convinced they have dumbed down a sufficient number of citizens so they can do whatever they please, while employing their corporate propaganda media to spin their coup as legitimate and rightful.

Image result for vampire squid on the face of humanity"

The oligarchs in control of our financial system have convinced the masses running up the national debt to $23 trillion, running annual deficits exceeding $1 trillion, and accumulating $200 trillion of unfunded pension and welfare liabilities are in their best interests. Not only that, the current crop of socialist presidential candidates wants to add tens of trillions more to the debt load by promising student loan debt write-offs, free college education, open borders, and Medicare for all.

The masses are onboard after watching the Federal Reserve, the U.S. Treasury, and Congress hand over trillions to the Wall Street cabal that almost destroyed the global financial system in 2008 with their criminal mortgage debt control fraud. If free shit is OK for wealthy bankers, why not free shit for everyone else?

Since September the Fed has been acting like we are in the midst of the 2008/2009 crisis, pumping over $200 billion (not QE) into the veins of the Wall Street junkie banks who were suffering withdrawal symptoms from a devastatingly high 2.25% Federal Funds rate. The result has been a soaring stock market, further enriching the .1%, while the average Joe wallows in $14 trillion of consumer debt and the Wall Street shylocks charge 20% interest rates on credit card debt.

Delinquency rates on auto loans exceed the levels of 2009. The housing market has hit a wall. When prices begin to fall, mortgage delinquencies will soar. The real delinquency rates on student loans exceed 25%, as degrees in lesbian studies lead to waitress jobs at Applebees. The narrative about best job market ever is a farce, as the growth has been in low paying, no healthcare benefit jobs in the service industries.

Heinlein’s view of politicians, their corruptibility, and ability to tell half truths which are really lies, is even more evident in today’s world. The candidates are hand picked by the corporate interests. Their salaries while in office are fairly modest, but they leave office as multi-millionaires and are paid handsomely on the Boards of the corporations they were supposed to regulate.

Bernanke and Yellen now make more giving one speech at a Wall Street bank than they made annually as the Federal Reserve Chairman. Every local, state and federal politician is bought off to some extent. They do the bidding of the vested interests who got them elected, not what is best for their constituents. We are lost in a blizzard of lies. A society addicted to falsehoods and bereft of truth will surely degrade and eventually collapse.

“He’s an honest politician–he stays bought.” ― Robert A. Heinlein, Stranger in a Strange Land

“The slickest way in the world to lie is to tell the right amount of truth at the right time-and then shut up.” ― Robert A. Heinlein, Stranger in a Strange Land

Liberty, Freedom & Obligations to Society

“I believe in my fellow citizens. Our headlines are splashed with crime. Yet for every criminal, there are ten thousand honest, decent, kindly men. If it were not so, no child would live to grow up. Business could not go on from day to day. Decency is not news. It is buried in the obituaries, but it is a force stronger than crime.” – Robert Heinlein

Image result for it's a wonderful life final scene"

Heinlein still believed in the noble decency of the majority of people back in the 1940’s and 1950’s. The climactic scene in It’s a Wonderful Life captured the belief that even though there will always be cold hearted evil bankers like Mr. Potter (the Jamie Dimon of his day) feeding off the misery of others, most people are good hearted, kind and giving. Is Heinlein’s view applicable in today’s world? Bad news, bad people and crime produce views, clicks and eyeballs for the corporate media complex.

Stories about good people doing good things on a daily basis are boring to those controlling the narrative. The purpose of the propagandists supporting the Deep State is to keep the masses fearful and distracted. Scare tactics and keeping half the country at the throats of the other half is good for business. While the masses are distracted by trivialities, boogeymen (Russians), and impeachment porn, the ruling class absconds with what remains of the national wealth.

Based upon Heinlein’s definition of a dying culture, we have already crossed the Rubicon. The level of vitriol spewed on a daily basis on social media, by the propagandist media, by politicians, and by intellectual yet idiots is a clear indication of a culture gasping its dying breath. There are still good people in this country who can be counted on by their neighbors, friends and families. As the current culture dies and is swept away during this Fourth Turning, what kind of culture will follow?

Will decent, libertarian minded, freedom loving people arise to guide the country towards a better future? Or will totalitarian minded evil men crush the hopes and dreams of the good people and reign over an even darker period in our history. Goodness without backbone, wisdom and willingness to fight to the death will be overrun by evil.

“A dying culture invariably exhibits personal rudeness. Bad manners. Lack of consideration for others in minor matters. A loss of politeness, of gentle manners, is more significant than is a riot.” – Robert A. Heinlein

“But goodness alone is never enough. A hard, cold wisdom is required for goodness to accomplish good. Goodness without wisdom always accomplishes evil.” – Robert A. Heinlein, Stranger in a Strange Land

I still feel like a stranger in a strange land. But, based on my interactions with good people with hard, cold wisdom over the last ten years, I believe there is still hope for our nation. I think there are enough good people with common sense, critical thinking skills, and the courage and fortitude to stand up to the Deep State and defeat the evil permeating the current social order. Conflict against fellow Americans looms. Allying yourself with good people is essential. Maybe I’m being naïve believing good can win over evil, but it’s better than throwing in the towel and accepting our fate.

Jim, last week my wife went to play Bunco with her girlfriends. (I don’t even know what the HELL that is.) At some point during the chitter-chatter, the state of the nation came up among one of the woman’s mothers, her daughter, and my wife. My wife has been with me long enough for me to have worn on her a bit. (Whether that’s good or bad, I’m not entirely sure! 🙂 ) She’s been coming along with less kicking and screaming for every year that transpires.

At some point the older woman – a Boomer by my wife’s guess – asked her if she was afraid of where she saw the country going; specifically, did my wife foresee a civil war? My wife was taken aback by the question because only once had that ever come up among her friends before, and this was the second time in about 2 weeks. She said she did foresee unrest but wasn’t worried. Her reasoning? 1) Whatever is external to her is outside of her control. 2) For those things outside of her control, we have been planning for years as best we can.

She went into some of the strategy with the living fence of honey locust, the orchard, etc. She said they were captivated.

Imagine my shock. Maybe some of the ding-dongs are waking up from a Rip van Winkle.

Will decent, libertarian minded, freedom loving people arise to guide the country towards a better future? Or will totalitarian minded evil men crush the hopes and dreams of the good people and reign over an even darker period in our history.

Yes and yes. Depends on your geolocation. Plus, it will get much worse before it gets better. But it will get better. We will lose reserve currency status – which will be bad then good. We will lose cheap oil – which will be bad then good. It won’t be what we once knew. But if there are enough arborists with ropes around the canopy of the felled tree, it will land in a somewhat-ish correct place.

Maybe I’m being naïve believing good can win over evil, but it’s better than throwing in the towel and accepting our fate.

You’re not naive. You’re 100% correct, but the river under the “Hither to Yon” bridge is filled with blood. It will be a mindfuck, even for our resident Nam Vets. Reminds me of Fallout 4’s opening sequence: “War. It never changes.”

Are you sure you want your wife telling others about your SHTF plans? They will be at your door when it happens. Discretion really is the better part of valor. No one in my neighborhood knows we are prepared. If they are prepared, great. If not too bad, but I don’t want them at my door asking/demanding we take care of them.

Grumpy,

I have set aside a spot where I let about 100 yards of mulch marinate. A huge spot, so that I will have a community garden for folks to learn. I have plenty of other areas prepped for the needy but there’s a shitload more work to do. Years’ worth of work. A lot of times I didn’t even know why I was doing what I was doing but it felt right in my gut.

I’m done being suspicious of everyone. I believe in trusting but verifying but I will be there for my community. She doesn’t go around telling everyone topo intel or HUMINT, then again she doesn’t even know WTF that likely is. 🙂 She’s just telling them, “Look. We’ve thought about some of these things and there are many reasons we are farming.”

If we lose the good in each of us, then we’ve already lost. I refuse to quit.

I would say your wife is good friends with these people, as she plays Bunco with them regularly, and thinks she can trust them with your plans. It is good that you have thought of others in your planning – there is strength in numbers.

IMO, the farther you are from urban centers, the better it will be. I am about 30 miles from Memphrica city limits and the urbanites will have lots of suburbs to pillage before they go searching in the country. Hopefully, they will be thinned out as they move to the more civilized communities and not have the means to get this far from home. We will have to defend ourselves from the local moochers, but I have a few well armed and prepared neighbors, even though we have not discussed tactics for mutual survival.

Hopefully, it will not happen, but then if it does, maybe we will leave a better place for our grand-kids and great-grand-kids.

OT but timely, and I hope Admin posts this soon. The Supreme Court has passed on hearing a case involving Remington Rifles and Sandy Hook parents suing the gunmaker for creating the AR 15 and holding them liable for the deaths in the school shooting.

This is the worst kind of case, it will nullify the 2nd by bankrupting gun makers and forcing them out of the market. A similar sort of thing is happening with lawsuits against the makers of drugs like oxycodone, the manufacturers are sued and forced out of business, leaving legitimate patients without any form of pain relief.

“The Supreme Court has denied Remington Arms Co.’s bid to block a lawsuit filed by families of victims of the Sandy Hook school massacre. The families say Remington should be held liable, as the maker and promoter of the AR-15-style rifle used in the 2012 killings”.
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2019/11/supreme-court-won-shield-gun-maker-sandy-hook-lawsuit-191112165034474.html

“Though the case does not directly implicate the US Constitution’s Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, the NRA told the justices in a filing that the lawsuit could put gun manufacturers out of business, making the right meaningless.”

I think people have forgotten we used to have a regulatory agency that restricted the content and subliminal messaging OF ANY KIND in advertising. Who allows these sorts of messages? Is it the FCC or is it Satan? Or are they two arms of the same Leviathan?

I think that is around the time the meaning of the word “IS” became lost…

The Senate communications subcommittee has already passed a measure that would lift current restrictions in favor of a reciprocity rule that would allow unlimited foreign investment in U.S. telephone companies if the foreign investor’s home country permitted unlimited U.S. investment. That measure awaits a full Senate vote, perhaps as early as this month. Meanwhile, the FCC is considering its own overhaul of foreign ownership rules to help pry open foreign telecommunications markets.”

Another fun OT is the example of governments considering the banning of vaping products because they apparently cause illness or even death. The only problem is the products that cause illness or death are the black market versions containing dangerous substances, so the commercially produced non-dangerous products would be banned and the dangerous products would thrive without competition.
As the great philosopher, Ringo Starr once said:
Everything the government touches turns to shit.

I’ve been thinking on this topic, especially the divide between what is considered liberal thought, versus what is considered conservative thought.

This dichotomy, where one side pushes without relent for the supremacy of “society” over the individual, conservatives do the opposite, sometimes citing individualism or libertarianism.

The truth is at we are a “social animal” and our core group expands as we meet, mate, and watch offspring choose people outside our immediate tribe. Those marriages (in a normal society) would organically strengthen tribal ties. After a few generations, almost every tribe would be related, at some level, with every other tribe in the country.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

2 a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.

And so it is today as it will be tomorrow, one generation dies and another takes it’s place. Other generations had it far worse and survived and started the cycle again. It is mankind’s destiny to build and destroy, like Shiva and Kali, over and over again until the end of eternity.

I see what’s happening in the country, I’m planning and preparing. I also realize that the time to identify the target is long over, the battle lines have been drawn, hashing over ills will not provide a cure.

Recently returned from Mexico for 7 STD tests.

Bad News: all positive; Good News: only in my throat.

Mygirl...maybe

Seven STD’s in your throat? Oh my. Oh dear. Oh hell. Oh well….don’t ask, don’t tell….

Girl, that was a perfect response. I expected anything from Dio but that. But wait! There’s more!

Diogenes’ Dung

I imagine that in “the good ‘ole days”, when people were honest, a man was careful about what he brought home to his wife. Today, most guys can’t muster enough ethical fortitude to face what their partners need to know, because they would rather not know – and certainly don’t want anyone else to know. They’d rather make another ‘mistake’ than to face the last one.

Personally, if my next mistake is as fun as my last night in Mexico, I’m game – but not until I know I’m not anyone’s liability.

Yesterday’s trip to a ‘private, upscale’ STD clinic was an eye-opener; guys are no longer liable.

It’s been 25 years since I needed those tests (I’ll be waiting a few days for results). I was immensely relieved that I didn’t have to submit to those two, looong Q-tip swaps for pathogen identification under a microscope. Now, instead of screams, one only donates three vials of blood, and a cup of urine. But most men DON’T. Maybe because a dose of Post Q-tip syndrome still lingers.

I was there for 1-1/2 hours after giving my blood sample because Urethra Johnson refused to sing… even after three liters of water. While I waited, I saw a steady parade of women of all ages, each with their brow in permanent wrinkles of concern.

I was the only man to enter that office out of 20+ people who were ‘concerned’ about their sexual health. Given that ratio, men clearly aren’t concerned about anything that doesn’t make them scream when they piss. By then, a lot of damage can fall upon others.

The question had to arise in the mind of every woman who waited there, “Where are all the men with enough courage to face their folly, or are they still spreading their diseases???”

The full phalanx of STD tests were about $800 – IF one pays in advance. Thousands if you asked them to bill your insurance. I saw more than one woman without ‘adequate’ insurance leave in tears, headed for a ‘free’ clinic that nobody wants to visit.

A TBP Sage once opined that my fatal attraction to smoking hot sex came with a price that nobody can afford to pay. $800 is the least of it.

Mygirl...maybe

You were doing a little walking on the wild side, Senhor?

Diogenes’ Dung
Diogenes’ Dung

I was in my usual haunt, where my antics are legend. Three minutes after we started talking in the oceanfront, open-air, bootleg bar with ‘moonshine’ tequila good enough to command $100 pesos a shot, she turned and rubbed the back of her tiny, taught frame against me, grinding into my groin.

My face was pressed to her neck, my nose deep in her thick, wavy mane of sun-bleached hair, sucking her pheromones deep when she made a half-turn and lifted an arm over her head – I licked her armpit, completed her turn around her with, “No need for a jealous armpit!” and removed the rest of her anti-perspirant.

She grinned and said, “I have to pee.”

I looked at the open-stalled bathroom up a gentle slope to the dunes, contemplating its dimly lit toilet, and said “I want to watch!”

She winked and asked, “Think you can carry me up there?”

I scooper her up in my arms like Tarzan, and double-timed up the hill as the bar erupted in a chorus of howls, cheers screams, whistles, encouragement and laments of impending denouement.

She turned her back to the toilet and sucked my tongue out of my face, quickly yanking a lacey polka-dot thong to her knees, then released my tongue as she sat and arched backwards to expose her open lips with, “I can’t seem to relax…”to my wolfish grin. I yanked out my dick and started yanking.

“Ooouuhh, you have a big dick!” It got bigger.

I kneeled before her toilet, happy to be there, rubbing her vulva with my tip as her warm piss erupted and drenched my dick.

The bar was a loud scream when we disappeared into the night.

Mygirl...maybe

It’s gratifying to read how someone can find true love, especially in today’s climate of casual sex and promiscuity. Open air toilets are venues not often thought of or explored or used for the consummation of true romance, especially kneeling in one while admiring the beloved one’s attributes and bodily functions.

So when are the nuptials?

Diogenes’ Dung
Diogenes’ Dung

First time I’ve enjoyed kneeling in front of a Mexican toilet of any kind.

Mexico’s open air beach toilets are like porn booths, except there’s no janitor mopping the back of your ankles under a half-door, and nobody ever proposed marriage in a porn booth.

Lots of happy marriages start in Mexican beach toilets but I forgot to get her name or number.

Mygirl...maybe

Well, apparently she left you with seven other things to remember her by.

Thank you, MG,

I do enjoy turning a phrase, and care not a whit if it turns everyone’s stomach. My description of that night follows in the footsteps of my parent’s fine collection of pornographic novels: The Story of O; The Ballad of Dingus Magee; Candy. Mom whipped me when she discovered I’d been sneaking them from her hiding place. Dad laughed the whole time I hollered loud enough to assuage mom’s fury.

I haven’t met El Coyote, so I wouldn’t know if I met him or any other ghost that haunts me while I prowled in Mexico’s shadows.

It’s been a Very, Very Long Time (almost 50 years) since a woman that seductive dragged me into my muck within moments of meeting. After three years of waiting, celibate, for ‘the right’ woman, a beautiful djinni, decades younger, said everything I wanted to hear and meant none of it.

Matters were well out of hand before I realized that I had tied myself to another’s alter, exchanging something precious to me – for dreams spent searching for a way out of my psychic sewer while wearing a turd turban.

I’m no stranger to that strange land. I’ll find my way back to high ground, again, and get my teeth whitened.

M G

a beautiful djinni…

My friend Paula uses this term. I told her about the weird things that happen to me on this land and how there are rock placements that lead me to believe a burial mound of some sort exists here. She said I might have a duh jenny and I said a duh what and she said an Indian trickster and she called me a dumbass.

I might daydream of a thousand love affairs in a single outing but I never run into a smoking hot encounter ever, that’s a strange land for me.

Yes and yes. Depends on your geolocation. Plus, it will get much worse before it gets better. But it will get better. We will lose reserve currency status – which will be bad then good. We will lose cheap oil – which will be bad then good. It won’t be what we once knew. But if there are enough arborists with ropes around the canopy of the felled tree, it will land in a somewhat-ish correct place.”

I had a similar interaction with a colleague a few months ago. I live outside a small metro area in the Appalachians, with farmland all around, and a house at the top a hill. Country, but with 1M in the region, and 2 larger metros within an hours drive. He’s worried about some investments that have not worked (IPO?) and he wanted know about my plans. I told him having beans and rice, a LOT of can foods they rotate, a propane generator (with a 500g tank of propane) will prep him for the best. I told him to take the hundred bucks a week he spends on crap and buy junk silver.

I think he sees the downsides are starting to outweigh the upside, and that the rest of the world is spinning more plates than the federal reserve. Moving into a rural area outside a small city is the best advice I can give anyone thinking about moving.

Great article. I find myself going back and forth at times if there is any real hope for things to be better on the other side or if we are screwed. If it’s true that only 3% of the population were radicalized to the point of fighting to the death during the revolutionary war then perhaps we have a chance. I like to test the waters with people every now and then and based on my conversations I believe many have some notion that all is not well. These people vary widely on the spectrum. I must remind myself that at one time I was very ignorant(although I always had a cynical view in regards to gov) and even now there are certainly a lot of things I don’t know. I think once people see the farce it cannot be unseen. I will do my part and continue to gently prod those I believe can be saved.

Thanks, Admin. You said above: “Will decent, libertarian minded, freedom loving people arise to guide the country towards a better future?”

I think it will collapse first. Only then will the answer to that question be known, I am afraid.

Unfortunately, I think the majority have no clue, and perhaps are incapable of even understanding the question. Will there be enough decent, libertarian minded, freedom loving people to convince the ignorant masses to follow them? I do not know, but I suspect not. Even now, in the socialist hellholes of the world, there are huge numbers of citizens who want to continue down the path to destruction, even though that path has already taken them to starvation, death, and despair. It is impossible to comprehend.

I just do not know if the people can be led. I do not know if the honest leaders can be heard. I do not know if anything, no matter how horrible, can bring the masses out of their stupor. It could be we will enter a age of darkness that may extend for a very long time.

I do generally believe in the decency of humans. But decency will not necessarily overcome ignorance. The ability of many to accept that they have been fooled and tricked is limited, if not entirely absent. To change things, people will have to confront the fact that they have been fools and have been used. Many will not be moved, even if their lives depend on it.

AoC – which is why I despair. There are millions of people who rely on the system for their every breath, via medicine, food, shelter, etc.

The facts are that the US can produce vast amounts of food, and sufficient energy. The question is whether a societal system is in place that can/will function well enough so as to provide those things. An example of this is the Irish famine, where resources certainly existed to feed those people, but nonetheless they were allowed to starve.

What I found most interesting about him is he sounded just like everyone else on TBP except that he did not do in overtly. He kept talking about debt, the filth of the DC area (I live in the Northern Va. area. 1 mile from the CIA). I felt he was talking to me in code. My father was in the electric utility business and I remember seeing a map of the interconnections between all of the various systems throughout the US. I used to go with him inspecting the line that connected southern OK with N Texas. It was a monthly routine for him looking at each pole and each insulator, noting any discrepancies and/or any potential hazards.

It would not take much to disable the grid feeding the cities, creating mass hysteria. Remember the NYC blackouts a couple decades ago? It would be much worse now, as society has become more hardened and there is zero respect for human life in some communities.

I don’t know if it will be the crash of the grid or of the $, but when it happens, I do not want to be in the city.

Articles of Confederation

Agreed.

I ask otherwise good, skeptical folks what their plans for infrastructure security are once they’ve eliminated the DIA and NSA. Who protects what few refineries we have left, and when one is taken out, how exactly do we replace the petrol? Who prevents Trojans from being inserted into the grids? Who monitors SIGINT traffic for those who would plan a dam breach?

I don’t think these very intelligent, critical-thinking folks understand what *some* agencies do for us in a very complex society. They never hear about the plots that have been foiled and they never will.

This is not a cop-out. Every human institution runs afoul at some point and to varying degrees. But let’s be real here. The CIA and the FBI have been involved in the most scurrilous events in modern American history…it’s amazing to me they haven’t been torn down. As I sit at my computer for much of the day reading about our surreal world, shaking my head so much an observer would mistake me for a Parkinson’s sufferer, I despair about our future. I, too, get livid with the pervasive injustice in the world, where evil always seems to win. The contrast of Assange rotting in prison while Clinton muses about running for president again is enough to make a sensible man scream in frustration. How is it even possible, I wonder, that such obvious criminality isn’t punished? How is it possible that good men are tortured and no one cares?

Leftists focus on puddles oblivious to the tidal waves coming our way. Is it all pretense with them, or are they that stupid? In what world is refusing to acknowledge more than two sexes more serious than useless wars that are killing millions, ruining entire countries, and flooding Western countries with refugees who are dragging us down to their level? It’s insane!

Yet when I step outside I wonder if my despair is justified. People, almost all decent and hard-working as far as I can tell, just go about their lives unaware of the problems I’ve been consumed with for a decade. They seem happy and hopeful for the future.

An economic reckoning is coming; that’s just math and common sense. But bad times have come and gone before, and our ancestors survived and bounced back strong. A dangerous storm is on the horizon and there’s no avoiding it, and we shouldn’t try to; the storm is needed to wash away the crippling debt and corruption, and, if we’re lucky, the leftist insanity. Maybe, once we weather it, our children will have a bright future.

Great post.

“Leftists focus on puddles oblivious to the tidal waves coming our way.

It’s a bitch of a dichotomy.

Most good, honest people just want to be left alone and they think if they do not make waves, it will happen. I believe that the awakening for them will take a modern day “Pearl Harbor”, just as it did for my Father’s generation. When he woke up Sunday morning Dec. 7, 1941, he had no idea that in a few short years, he would be thousands of miles away fighting in a war. By supper time he knew he would join the fight.

My wife is one of the turtles.
In her defense, she is 60, weakened from disease, crippled up in one hand from medical conditions, has little stamina and little strength. She still makes my lunches and dinners, cleans house somewhat (trying to get the kids to take some initiative in that regard), runs shopping and other errands, does the laundry. She is no warrior, now or ever.
But she thinks or hopes to hide. I suspect that I will fall defending her from home invasion or criminal action, but I will defend her until I cannot, surrounded by spent brass and blood. We live in a fairly big city, so her access to medical services can be maintained. So be it; I have been improving myself with trips to the gym, as often as three times a week when plans hold. I walk two miles on the treadmill, lift weights and use machines to toughen this old carcass to some kind of shape. I am trying to lose weight, not so successfully as yet but still working on it. I take vitamins and supplements to make up for our weakened meats and vegetables these days.
But if she leaves me first, I will probably relocate rurally ASAP. Not sure how much I could buy but even five or ten acres can make a lot of food with practice. And it’s easier to spot them coming when your line of sight is more than the next block over.
Before we are done many will die of starvation, medical conditions, conflict and disease. I never voted for Peter Strozk, Lisa Page, Comey, McCabe or any of them, and I doubt they are any smarter than I am. So when the rich and privileged look for shelter and comfort, they won’t find it with me; and all those who came to this country because someone else could get richer, more powerful or connected if they did will be my enemies until I’m gone.

“Secrecy begets tyranny” – that is absolutely true. The massive amount of information that the government has classified is one of the main reasons we are in the predicament we are in. At least 75% of the material that is classified by the government (in all agencies, including the Department of Defense) is classified not for legitimate security purposes, but to cover up illegal or incompetent activity. Every time I hear the phrase “it is classified for national security reasons” I want to scream, because I know it is probably classified to cover up something illegal or nefarious. There are still documents related to the murder of JFK that are classified. Obviously the only reason those documents are still classified 56 years later is to cover up the government and Deep State involvement in that murder.

“Maybe I’m being naïve believing good can win over evil, but it’s better than throwing in the towel and accepting our fate.”

Good has already won! Come whatever physical circumstances may.

Philippians 4:12-13 KJB… “I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Solomon in all his wisdom writing Ecclesiastes, had no idea what God had wrought from before the foundation of the world was laid. Not till God reached out to Paul did satan comprehend fully his ultimate defeat; could humanity know it’s ultimate triumph through Christ. The mystery kept secret…

Colossians 2:15 KJB… “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”

Things may be falling apart physically, that’s to be expected. Sin abounds… but the grace of God abounds that much more! Doom porn abounds when the gospel really should. The news is beyond good! We just have to look in the right place.

You’re completely correct on one hand.
Live in the joy and peace of christ regardless of circumstances, but don’t necessarily expect that to make our circumstances any better or us immune to sickness or death, just our attitude.

Persecution and martyrs in christ worldwide are at record levels.

Don’t worry though if we live long enough pre rapture the USA likely will eventually catch up with the rest of the world and we’ll get our turn.

I’m a believer in Christ and I like you GCP. So please don’t take this the wrong way. Why is evil currently being permitted to “win”…? Why aren’t pastors and churches calling out the evil where they see it? I go to church and they pray for “our government”, for “our leaders”, but they never call out the bold in your face evil that is running Washington DC. And it’s not just the elected officials but the unelected bureaucrats, the activist appointed judges, the dishonest media and the brainwashing in TV shows and movies. Then you have some churches outright facilitating illegal immigration. I don’t get it. Churches and/or the clergy should be the moral authority helping lead society out of the 47 gender madness that we’re under. Instead they’re worried about offending someone and not being all inclusive. Sorry, not directed at you. Just needed to vent… Chip

Articles of Confederation

I’ll take a shot at this one. Because few to none of the churches claiming to be Christian are really Christian. It’s more than just being human and fallible…they’re a part of an imperial system that is on death’s door and they don’t want to lose their blood money.

Do they really follow Christ and His teachings?

Does the Pope give up all of the wealth in the Vatican to tend to the flock?

All of the Western churches have committed crimes against children, the weakest of us. Why haven’t they condemned it?

What percentage of the money brought into every Western Christian institution’s coffers ends up making it to the people?

How many of the Western Christian churches were in on the medical scams of Medicare and Medicaid so that they had to use less of their coffers to tend to the needy? I bet you don’t see that one being asked too often, but research is enlightening.

Is it any wonder Marxism and atheism are on the rise? There’re no role models in America, and the criticism from the left is just but emotionally driven and hardly well-thought out. It’s like a doctor correctly identifying the symptom of appendicitis and then cutting you off at your midriff.

And on the flipside, look at the Orthodox Church. It has its own issues with Russian oligarchs but they pale in comparison to Western institutions. Is it any wonder they schismed?

Being a Christian is both philosophy and faith, IMHO. It’s easy to talk the talk. I know very, very few Westerners who walk the walk.

I walked away for the last time from any organized religious body when my son was forsaken by his Catholic elementary school. I don’t have time for hypocrites, for the proud, for the liars. Is a good thing you didn’t get me in trubble. My old USAF supervisor was visiting today (lives in Michigan; travels around the country). He’s doing a photo essay book about the homelessness in this country.

Gotta tell you some of his stories about homeless vets and troubled old friends. I was saddened to hear of the old colleagues now addicted to prescription drugs and on complete disability. Two of them claiming PTSD. For what? Operating and doing maintenance on a radar system flying an orbit hundreds of miles from the battlefield five plus miles in the sky?

They claim it gives them nightmares to know they are responsible for all the deaths. Huh? You operated and maintained radar equipment, just like me. I’m glad neither of them are my old students.

I suspect they liked the drugs (you know they give the troops Ambien-like meds to adjust sleep patterns in theatre, don’t you?) a bit too much and did the research to get the 100% rating.

I’m still rated 80%, which is nutso in the real world, but if the VA is paying the kind of hospital bills I just racked up, you don’t argue with the rating. We got a letter from our “regular” insurer from Tricare today telling us that they are going to go get their money BACK from Missouri Baptist. LOL… now that they know it is VA related? They know they do not have to pay. It isn’t OUR problem… it is Missouri Baptist’s!

Talk about robbing Peter to pay Paul.

grace country pastor

Hey Chip… I totally get the need to vent. Nothing personal whatsoever is completely understood.

You write… “ Why is evil currently being permitted to “win”…? ”

The short answer: because people are evil and God is giving them what they want. Read Romans 1:20-32 noticing how God “gave them up”, “gave them up”, and “gave them over”. Get that last verse… people take pleasure in evil. Humanity is sin sick.

Men choose evil. We live in a presently evil world where God is not currently intervening miraculously/physically. In this evil world God has a message for those who would hear. It is a message of free grace. Absolute and total forgiveness, asking nothing in return.

Galatians 1:3-4 KJB… “Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:”

The saved man is delivered from this present evil world. Amen!

You write… “ Why aren’t pastors and churches calling out the evil where they see it? ”

We have two choices here. The vast majority of churches are either ignorant or they are themselves evil. I think there is a great deal of both going on.

Paul writes to Timothy telling him what the church should be…

1 Timothy 3:14-15 KJB… “These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.”

The church can only be such if it has the TRUTH at its fingertips. That Truth would be the KJB rightly divided. How many people do you see and or hear speaking and teaching scripture in this way? Very unfortunately, to satan’s credit and eternal damnation, we are few and far between.

You write… “ Instead they’re worried about offending someone and not being all inclusive.”

Yup… “churchianity” is the religion of “nice”. It has nothing to do with truth. It is in fact evil to fail to warn someone of impending doom. The gospel of grace, while the greatest gift ever offered, is inherently offensive, at least upon first glance. It says you have a very big problem that you can’t fix. Doom. People hate that. They would rather rely upon themselves and what they believe to be “good and right” rather than what God clearly and simply says is Good and Right… Christ.

A Christian relies upon what Christ did on his behalf and nothing else. That humbles a man, changing him from the inside… something the law (as righteous as it is) could never hope to do. This grace is what the world so desperately needs and also exactly what it rejects. This is why the poop is meeting the propellers all around us. It is frustrating as hell from our point of view. Imagine what God sees…

You are Christian as am I. You and I know that in and of ourselves we are no good. We also know that God fixed that problem for us… ever so gracefully as is His way. We then deal with people accordingly, gracefully as we are hopefully more and more able as we grow in the knowledge of Christ. If the world understood what we do it would be a far better place. The world has made its choice. It chooses itself, not Christ.

So be it. All we can do is point out the obvious and allow the world to choose its own path. Reading Gods word, we know how this ends. We shouldn’t be surprised. It still sucks though… but focus on what God has done for us and this evil world begins to fade away, becoming less and less important and invasive…

Grace and peace brother… ?

I just got back from one of my ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) meetings and I come home to an article by Admin about Heinlein.

How delightful.

Heinlein could certainly turn a phrase. Sometimes while reading one of his stories I will stop in my tracks, go back, and read a sentence or paragraph again and just freeze.

I’ll read it one more time and if it still hits me, I dog-ear that page and come back to it again later. He was just that kind of a writer.

When I truly despair in these Stranger In A Strange Land times, I remember this from my favorite of his books,

”…I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do…” — Robert A. Heinlein – Professor Bernardo de la Paz, “The Moon is a Harsh Mistress”

Current status of interaction…

The dust-ups will continue from T2T, as opinions vary, and those differences help define a chamber that echoes only moderately.

All based on our individual experiences, beliefs, & morals.

One of Marciano’s greatest attributes was his ability to handle pain. (Kind of like this place’s comments section)

His two fights with Ezzard Charles were brutal.

In the second fight, Charles split Marciano’s nose right down the middle. Both he and the ref just stood there staring.

Both had to retreat as Marciano continued to fight and eventually won by a knockout.

Marciano defended with his face. The man took enormous punishment, just so he could hit the other guy. He was known to hit the opponent in the arms a lot, especially in the early rounds. He would break blood vessels and bruise them so badly that pretty soon the could not hold their hands up to defend, then it was lights out.

This video is of foreman absolutely destroying Frazier. Foreman had very heavy blows. The fight starts around minute 4 on the video.

Right from the start, you can see every blow, even partial ones, are hurting Frazier. I am sure he had never, ever been hit that hard, and like Marciano, Frazier took a lot of hits in order to get close. Frazier, and probably Marciano, were not suited to fighting someone like Foreman, who delivered too much punishment if you walked in on him.

At the 4:52 mark, Foreman hits Frazier with a left jab that snaps his head back. I believe it was at that moment the fight was over – that did real damage, and everything else flowed from there.

Frazier had as much heart as any boxer I have ever seen. He got up 6 times, and would have kept fighting – could have been killed if the fight not stopped.

Re: Heinlein’s “Stranger in a Strange Land

I was much younger when I read the book and I might have read it more than once. I recall it got me thinking in new directions and I enjoyed the emancipation of imagination, as it were. So much so that I still possess my original paperback although decades have passed since I’ve thumbed through its pages.

I recall the narrative as being both religious satire and allegory and projecting a sort of hip spirituality. Many of the concepts and contrasts were thought-provoking such as the innocent purity of the main character compared to the pragmatic worldly wisdom of an old judge who served as the guardian of the story’s protagonist – a space orphan who developed telepathic powers while being raised on Mars.

If I remember correctly, the novel references language as a map because it pinpoints where we were, where we are, and where we’re going.

I also recall the main character as considering young people as “blank” and all looking the same while older folks were beautifully unique because of how life had formed their faces.

Anyway, another great article by Jim and such a fitting and timeless theme.

The monstrosities we know as governments are dinosaurs facing their extinction moment, undone, as was the government of the USSR, by their own weight, complexity, and ever-increasing call on their nations’ income and wealth. Brexit, Trump, Catalonia, Hong Kong, etc. are just a taste of what’s to come—radical decentralization, dissolution, and devolution. It will be a complete trend change from the last 500 years of ever larger and more powerful governments, akin to the Middle Ages after the fall of Rome. I’ll have more to say in an upcoming article.

Great article, Jim, I’ll post it tonight.

I look forward to reading that one, radical decentralization while disruptive initially over the longer term is a huge positive. Eg. Remote work enabled by telecommunications networks and internet support high-value jobs in rural areas.

Any hope lies in the remnant. Due to the dumbing down, demoralization and replacement of the American people, systematic collapse is inevitable.

The TPTB want this, which they envision as beneficial to their interests as overlords. Culling the herd, they believe will give them a less independent, more manageable wage slave. Read Ayn Rand’s Anthem for an idea of how this might work. Hives of workers will be housed in cities, grouped according to skills, where they will commute to various jobs by either train or bus.

China is well on the way to accomplishing this by forcefully relocating rural farmers to urban centers where their only alternative to gainful employment is to commute back to the farms via high speed rail. And, according to Agenda 21, the USA plan is exactly the same. The Agenda 21 planners want the rural lands free of people and even want specified regions made illegal for people to traverse.

They want a totally controlled population living in the cities and complacently working at assigned jobs.
No way ? Think again. The Great Depression saw millions of people leaving rural America in search of jobs that would put biscuit on the table and a roof overhead.

Create another nation wide food shortage and designate food distribution points in cities where you want people to relocate and most of the Agenda 21 plan will implement itself. The hardcore holdouts will suffer what the military politely calls rural pacification.

Think this can’t happen?

comment image

It already is. With family farms going under at ever increasing rates, American food production will inevitably fall under the total control of corporate farms. The ‘ woke ‘ corporatocracy will control not only the production i.e. amount of the American food supply, but where it’s distributed as well. Engineered food scarcity is the most brutal weapon ever weapon ever bought to bear against any populace. Starvation will break even the bravest and boldest.

If the choice between starving to death or moving into city government housing becomes the choice, people willingly will move en masse just to fill their bellies once a day. The government created food shortage of the 1930’s was merely a trial run. Socialist bent Minnies are already flocking to cites looking for work. They’ll never leave.

Yes, the bad actors will take advantage of the current spate of bankruptcies to acquire land at low prices…..and then do the whole GMO mono-cropping corporate ag. Farmers often over-leverage themselves and are inveterate gamblers…..crazy risk-takers. Sometimes exogenous events overtake them….tariffs, drought etc…..this is one of those cases…..the farmers F’d themselves for the most part. Your UN Biodiversity map was part of the original UN Agenda 2021 and now 2030 and is indeed “Real”…and a more serious threat than the periodic farm crisis. They are only tangentially related though the UN/Globalists will be quick to use this crisis to their advantage.

flash
flash

Not only farmers, but the majority of self-employed people are crazy risk takers. Government merely provides the rope, then after necks are inserted, kicks the chair from under their legs.Sans credit, which government made absolutely necessary via inflation, there is no usury driven mythical spirit called capitalism. Government not only has become the market maker, but market breaker as well. We call this muh free market. Private enterprise can bankrupt people. Government enterprise bankrupts nations, which leads to the suddenly impoverished prostate and begging the financial wizards who crashed the system to in turn save them…makes perfect sense.

UN Agenda 2021 and 2030 are the same polices, seeking the same goals. A one world government that dedicates every aspect of human life , from cradle to grave, here on earth. A few different worded sentences changes nothing.

In 1864 Sherman without modern communications, air support or weaponry marched across Georgia burning and pillaging as he went, effectively starving the people of the state into submission. Taking into account that these men and women were brave and hardy farmers used to eking out a living from the land, imagine how much resistance a modern equipped army would meet from a soft and pampered populace used to growing nothing more than hair and fingernail their entire lives. To say weak is a very bold understatement indeed .

But hey , if you’ve got 3 million deer on 3 acres , then ypu might be able to feed an counter insurgency. There’s always that.

Food shortages, whether deliberate or inadvertently the created via financial shenanigans, are engineered .
Also , ref the honest leadership comment or lack thereof, humans by and large have the inherent proclivity to prefer the dishonest opportunist who promises free shit at a cost to be born by others and turn their backs on truth tellers promoting prosperity via hard work , sacrifice and commitment. It’s merely the nature of the fallen. Outside of divine intervention, I see no hope in people suddenly demanding major changes in the character of the people who lead this nation or any other nation on
earth.
Fraud and corruption has become the modus operandi of the lead and the led. which is understandable since government is merely the mirror reflection of the people demanding to be led.

Mary Christine, I had my cousin’s orphan with me this morning from about 4 a.m. until the hunters came in unbucked.

Perhaps a return this afternoon and then, of course, in the morning at oh-dark-thirty.

His father died in 2015 of an opiate overdose, though he was probably what they term a poly-addict, meaning they will take any sort of mind altering substance to avoid dealing with their personal issues. My cousin’s personal issues? He fathered a child when he was sixteen and the mother had made it known that she just wanted money from the family business, which was substantial. So, the older child was adopted by the grandparents and my what a tangled web we weave.

The current little tyke was once named Huckleberry Finn because his grandfather, like my own father (they were brothers) adored Mark Twain’s stories about life on the Mississippi River and either one of them could out-story the storyteller from Hannibal. I think there are many people who thought my father’s writings were at least as good as Twain’s, but of course they did not have to read them and listen to all the variants of them from my father. haha… sometimes he forgot my stories were my stories and told them to me as his stories. and, since they were better, I let him have them.

Okay, so the kid’s name’s been changed and his mom is remarried. A horrible battle ensued when her husband overdosed and died. If there is anything a vindictive mother could do to deflect blame from herself, my cousin’s mother did it. Up to and including accusing the poor girl of wanting him dead in public. No wonder she’s got a protective order. Some of my family can be a little hot-headed, dontcha know?

Haha… anyway, it is heartbreaking what drugs do to young people’s minds, bodies and souls.

Day 27 of 54. Halfway through. St. Jude. Intercede for our desperate causes! I don’t necessarily believe in the novena, but it really can’t hurt. My buddy believes and she’s counting the beads in a closet, not us.

Fiatman
Fiatman

Then we have to listen to one of the most inept, sanctimonious elected officials to ever adorn a calendar in our lifetime.

Nancy Pelosi is getting desperate. In a secret meeting today broadcast live on C-SPAN by accident, Pelosi was heard telling a group of wealthy donors that the majority of the country wants Trump removed. Our reporter in the field, Sandy Batt, says the speech was simply disgusting:

“Pelosi was overheard at a fundraiser full of Hollywood elites bashing the President and calling for a ‘total shutdown’ if her party didn’t get their way on impeachment. In her own words, Pelosi said ‘We will shut down not just the Senate smoking lounge, but their cafeteria and their bath house. The Roman Empire fell from within. The Senate will follow.’

“Pelosi then went on to say she would make sure none of Trump’s ‘boomer supporters’ get their Social Security checks if they don’t ‘fall in line.’ The whole thing was like listening to Stalin give a dissertation on socialism.”

Pelosi certainly does have the power to shut down all of those things under the Consolidatement Clause of Article 5 Section 3 of the Bill of Rights. Those passages right before the Amendments lay out the budgetary definitions of the Speaker’s job. In so that no other representative may forthwith certify their cognitive abilities to mediate a transgression, the power shifts to the Senate, and Mitch McConnell says he’s ready:

“We’ll make sure these Democrats never get a vote again. They want to play dirty, we can play dirty. Kavanaugh and the rest of the Trump judges are waiting for their marching orders. The Republic shall not falter in its defense of these rights as we know them.”

There you have it, in terms as clear as the day is long. Sleep well, America. Winter is coming.

I believe in miracles, because I’ve witnessed some amazing coincidences and twists of fate. I believe in the sun, even when its light is hidden from my eyes. The Drowning Man

A fellow was stuck on his rooftop in a flood. He was praying to God for help.

Soon a man in a rowboat came by and the fellow shouted to the man on the roof, “Jump in, I can save you.”

The stranded fellow shouted back, “No, it’s OK, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me.”

So the rowboat went on.

Then a motorboat came by. “The fellow in the motorboat shouted, “Jump in, I can save you.”

To this the stranded man said, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.”

So the motorboat went on.

Then a helicopter came by and the pilot shouted down, “Grab this rope and I will lift you to safety.”

To this the stranded man again replied, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.”

So the helicopter reluctantly flew away.

Soon the water rose above the rooftop and the man drowned. He went to Heaven. He finally got his chance to discuss this whole situation with God, at which point he exclaimed, “I had faith in you but you didn’t save me, you let me drown. I don’t understand why!”

To this God replied, “I sent you a rowboat and a motorboat and a helicopter, what more did you expect?”

God sent the US a Constitution and Bill of Rights. What more could any nation expect?

“Thinking doesn’t pay. Just makes you discontented with what you see around you.”

I had someone say this in another way when they were tired of discussing the Bigger picture after they had been going along the rabbit holes right there with me. He told me “You think too much.” and to some extent he was right. But this line of thinking is always used by the corporate dogma to just suck it up, compromise your values and get paid because everyone else is playing the game, so you better, too!

As I progress through this Awakening process the discontentment is always something one must acknowledge and deal with. With new information, information usually hidden from the vast majority of the populous, new understandings arise and we are forced to confront external threats well beyond our control and not of our making. This reminds us of our lack of control over this sinking ship. It can weigh heavy on you unless the right attitude is used to combat it. Leave it to God, is what I try and do. The Serenity Prayer.

Sometimes I wonder just as Cypher did in the Matrix if “Ignorance isn’t truly blissful?” Then I am quickly reminded that we were given our critical thinking abilities for a purpose and I’m pretty sure it isn’t to keep track of all the celebrity gossip and sports trivia that has saturated our popular culture.

I don’t think they do. Everyone I know says “The country is in terrible shape. We need to pray for our leaders.”

Capndiesalot

It ain’t just here…the whole world is falling apart…at least we have a leader who’s trying to reverse some of this nonsense…the American People will NEVER step up and elect real representatives who have our interests as a priority. It took 100 years to get here, it’ll take at least that long to reverse the process, or a civil war to finally declare a winner. Collectivism is the economic model of Satan, (this isn’t a religious comment), Evil needs a name. However, Libertarianism is NOT a solution where abortion is allowed, and ethics and morality are relative to the individual. Constitutionalism was and remains an attempt at a careful balance between the absolutes of either Collectivism and Libertarianism. (The FAILURE of the Articles of Confederation can be viewed as proof.)

Go ahead, argue all you want. Unfortunately, there are three Constitutional Amendments which made the REST of the Constitution a much poorer national construct. They were all passed during the Progressive years of the Executive. IF we could reverse the 16th and 17th Amendment, (the 18th was the third); this would go far to reverse the strength of the central government. Finally, if we could BLOW UP the Federal Reserve Act, and FORCE the SEC to be INCLUDED in FOIA rules and laws, much of the financial damage COULD be reversed.

I would have thought the same 20 years ago but there may not be enough good and decent people left to save America. If you believe God and the Bible then you know God will destroy any nation that has committed the Sin America has.We have forsaken God and turned to many idols . I think America as we know it days are numbered. We know a One World Government is coming and will probably come as a judgement against us and the rest of the world. That is truly scary. Another reason I believe our moment has passed is that America has been changed. We are no longer a 90% white nation. We have been flooded with third world immigrants that do not have the same values as the majority. Change the people you change the nation. Our cities are loss to multiculturalism and diversity which is where nations come to die. Stay far away from the big urban areas as they will become death traps. I wish I could be more positive but guess as I get older I get more realistic about the state of our once great nation.

The US government through illegal wars, has murdered hundreds of thousands of individuals, and destroyed sovereign countries with impunity, and yet their courts and their laws and their police state, are going to severely punish the whistle blowers who had the courage to inform the rest of the world of Americas murderous psychopathic criminality.

What kind of justice is this?

It seems the whole so-called justice establishment is there only to protect the many injustices that are in existence, and the people who are in power only want those injustices to continue.

It is amazing that there is no real revolt in the US and UK against our so-called laws, against our so-called courts, against our politicians, against our constitutions.

We have to turn all this injustice around immediately!

Today, here in Britain, the government honours the soldiers who fought and died fighting the Nazis, and who also fought in countless other unnecessary wars, which the British/US imperialist warmongers have used to control, subdue, plunder and dictate to the rest of the world.

So for what purpose was all that death, war, suffering and violence, if there is so much injustice and criminality today coming from these imperialist US/UK governments, obviously it was only to uphold and maintain their empire, just to keep it, and the retarded deep state billionaire oligarchs in coontrol!

I ask you, are the US and UK not as mentally ill in their power trips as the nazis were in theirs, are they not causing as much untold suffering and deaths, around the world, as the nazis did, in the name of their empire.

Wake up people, if you truly stand for freedom and real justice, one of our own brave freedom fighters Julian Assange is being slowly murdered before our very eyes, and the world, in Bellmarsh prison, and another brave freedom fighter Chelsea Manning is illegally incarcerated in the US by power hungry psychopath politicians, and their fascist jackboot lackeys.

Your so-called courts and your judges are not really men of justice, they are just hangmen working for the oligarch deep state!

They are the murderers appointed by the society, in the name of justice, to take revenge.

Fuck the US elections, fuck this charade of impeachment, fuck Brexit, these have no real meaning, nor real purpose if we have no freedom, if we are already living in such locked down fascist police states, that rule of law has lost all meaning!

Remember, the moment any community of human beings loses the urge to protect and uphold the truth, it dies.

It loses all dignity and freedom.

Remember, the most unfortunate slave is the one who does not even know that they are enslaved.

Wake up now!

And not the fake joke ‘woke’ kind, with their fake impotent ‘resistance’

No, that is just marxist slavery, just funny imaginary propaganda bullshit!

Never forget, the role of the US government in violence, murder, wars, terrorism, starvation sanctions, embezzlement, drug-running, major scandals and the continual swindling of incredible amounts of money and valuable resources from sovereign nations, chaos, coups, and the manipulation of politics in South America, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, in every corner of the globe!

And when the greatest power in the world, starts using such third-rate strategies, then it seems there is no hope for humanity.

What can individuals do when the US government having all the power, starts to destroy their individuality, their freedom, their freedom of expression.

They are forcing silent, simple people who have no business with violence, who are not politicians, to their absolute limit.

We must never be distracted from the real criminals in the US and UK, or be distracted from bringing them to justice, all these oligarchs, politicians, who till now, have never, ever come close to being held to account in a court of law, the ICC, if only? or who have never come close to being incarcerated at all, for all their chilling crimes against humanity.

But it is coming!

Free Julian Assange and Chelsea Manning!

The only change America needs with regard to immigrants is to deny them welfare. While we’re at it, let’s get the government out of the charity business altogether and let private individuals and organizations take up the slack.

Excellent article. Terrifying at the core, actually. The powers afforded by becoming a member of The Protected Class (from cops to low level politics, to politically connected wealthy people, to the untouchable elites, politically and economically) have created a two tier justice system.

Unless numerous high profile individuals are arrested and imprisoned for attempting to subvert the election of Donald Trump (not a fan, personally, but he makes the Elite so mad I have to like him a little) then that two tier system will become apparent for all to see.

If the Democrats actually vote to impeach, and it doesn’t get a straight up and down dismissal in the Senate, McConnell and Graham could do some serious damage by issuing subpoenas for Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, Alexandria Chalupa, Victoria Nuland, and most importantly Ciaramella. Imagine how much more context those five individuals will add to the current show trial.

The corruption that Trump was trying to uncover seems much more interesting than the attempt to impeach him over asking the president in help uncovering the corruption in Ukrainian US relationships.

Jim’s correct. But every day I meet people trying to do the right thing, against all odds. Why? Because it’s in their guts. The kind of people you want to be around when an Empire of the corrupt and debauched finally shit the bed. Look at Afghanistan, 18 years of relentless pounding and they still got 2 middle fingers in the air. The locals still run the show. Local ,small and bottom up is the future. These fat cat dinosaur assholes can’t see the asteroids coming, they’re too busy counting their money. They’re done, no one with half a wit believes the Talmudvision propaganda bullshit anymore…you have no power when no one believes you. We’ll be going back to a simpler life, but we’ll be a lot happier.

“Will decent, libertarian minded, freedom loving people arise to guide the country towards a better future?”
Hopefully not; that’s how centralist cults are created, supported willingly or not by mobs.

I’ve been a Heinlein fan all of my becoming-long life (been trying to get my young grandson to read his work). Thank you for sharing him so well.
