The Big Money players on the Left have been plotting to take down Drudge for many years. It has long been rumored that he is a butt pirate because of his frequent sightings in the fag bars in South Florida. He was always sensitive about people noticing this. (“I was gathering Intel” was his explanation.)
My best guess is that there is some seriously raunchy video of him that the Left obtained via a “sting” and can now hold over his head.
Based on his previous advertising rates, it was estimated that Drudge was making $1500 per day before the sudden advertising host change. It is real easy to believe that someone like George Soros or David Geffen would fund the coup that took down the Drudge Report.
Actually, I don’t think it is as nefarious as that. I read recently that he is with a gay partner but, his father has always been a democrat and recently, he moved all of his advertising (which has previously made Matt Drudge a multi-millionaire to the tune of ~$150M) to a leftist company (I forgot the name).
Sad to say that there is too much truth to the cartoon….Drudge is now Sludge and Fox is now Faux……
Drudge has been compromised just as Fox has been compromised. Chris Wallace has been in place for years waiting for the time to strike. Spawn of ambush “newsman”. Think of Walter Cronkite who laid in the grass of journalism for an entire career to inflict a poisonous bite at the right time. Same tactic.
Plus, hell have no fury like a spurned Supreme Court nominee…ehhh Judge Napolitano?

Great cartoon–only missing one visual: Drudge’s Star of David.
He has three constant and consistent covert influence themes:
1. Israel good (anything that does not celebrate Israel(i)s bad).
2. Homosexual/other non-heterosexual good
3. Normal America is weird/sick/abnormal
Those three themes are mixed in with other stories that appear to be “conservative.”
His shift to these three influence themes was gradual. You could miss it, if you weren’t closely paying attention.
Very typical of nearly all “conservative” media. They are co-opted, or seized, or controlled by variations of these three themes.
Drudge has always sucked ass, some only recently noticed.
He sold out to the libs. Plain and simple.
Could be blackmail.
