Well, the gibbering, babbling left wanted an impeachment, and now they’re getting it good and hard. To the surprise of no one who isn’t a blue city pol, a media hack, or an insufferable Fredocon sissy, the American people are not particularly impressed by the genius idea of replacing our president a year before an election because he allegedly expressed curiosity about why the coke-sniffing, stripper-impregnating, dead brother’s wife-trifling, Navy-rejected loser son of Vice President Gropey O’Definitelynotsenile scored a $50K+ a month gig on a Ukrainian gas board. And it’s just dawning on some of them they maybe this impeachment brainstorm was not the bestest idea there ever was.
They think the optics of the Schiff hearings were great. They weren’t great. Yeah, let’s get a bunch of Deep State suits to come in and explain how the guy we elected to shake up the foreign policy elite’s decades of utter failure is bad because he is shaking up the foreign policy elite’s decades of utter failure. And then you have That’sLieutenant Colonel Bratwurst – if you’ve been in uniform, you know there’s one of those guys in every unit, and the wise commander has him off inventorying combat boots at the CIF, where he can’t provoke the troops to hang him by his skivvies from the flag pole out in front of Division HQ. You look at this parade of smug, over-credentialed bureaucrats with delusions of competence and a track record of screw-ups and, to cite the popular meme, you realize that Trump was elected to fire people like them.
Maybe you hear it in the Beltway, but you don’t hear normal people out in America demanding, “Let these people rule over us unimpeded by our electoral choices!” After all, these are the same people who think your kid ought to die defending the Turkish-Syrian border but tell you it’s a crime against humanity to defend our own border with Cartelistan.
Schiff did a predictably schiffy job, so to salvage this smoking ruin, why not make the smart move and hand it over to the Judiciary Committee for more onanism under the steady, not-moronic-at-all guidance of that legendary legislative oompa loompa, Jerry Nadler (D-Wonkatown)? Let’s start with a parade of liberal law professors. I have a bit of experience with that. Watch the Home Shopping and the Bass Fishing Networks’ ratings go through the roof. It’s like the Dems gathered together all the most noted and renowned morons in the Democratic Party and got together to work out a solution to the question, “How do we make this political New Coke even worse?”
No one else is asking this question.
Let’s leave aside the fact that simple math makes this entire exercise as futile as a Weekly Standard writer staffer’s Valentine’s Day. Their eventual humiliation is assured in the Senate unless and until they get 20 Republicans to commit ritual suicide over Trump pointing out the manifest corruption of Touchy J and Lil’ Crackpipe.
And they aren’t getting 20 GOP votes in the Senate. Igloo Maverick Lisa Murkowski, maybe, but they probably won’t even get Mitt Romney. At the end of the day, he’ll submit. He wet himself when Candy Crowley rebuked him. Do you think he’d dare stand up to the Murder Turtle?
So, where do these clowns go now that they’ve taken this thing so far and bored and annoyed all of America outside the blue hellholes? Adam Schiff doesn’t have to worry. In his district, Lenin would get a primary challenger from the left. He’s safe. So is Nadler the human garden gnome, and so are so many of the libs howling about Ukraine now that the whole howling about Russia thing nosedived.
But those purple district Dems who got elected talking about “unity” and “working together” and how they would be “independent” and “not Nancy Pelosi’s puppet,” well, it’s a little different when Nancy’s hand is up your puppet hole making you say “impeachment” while your constituents are saying, “Uh, what exactly have you done in D.C. for two years besides whine about Trump?”
And what have they done? Literally nothing. The Democratic House has done zero things since they took over. The Mexico-Canada trade deal is sitting there, waiting, and they are whining because Trump dares to investigate elite corruption? If you look at the Democrats, they seem to think that the biggest problem America faces is that Democrats do not have more power, and that the only issue worth addressing is their deficit of authority. But powerless liberals is a feature, not a bug.
You’re starting to hear some rumblings from the margins about how maybe this wasn’t the stroke of genius the congressjerks from West L.A. and Manhattan thought it was. The fact that it will inevitably end in a bored senatorial shrug is the perfect chef’s kiss. The dealer is showing a king and the Dems have a three and a deuce? Time to double down!
This is going to end badly, hilariously badly, and everyone seems to know it except the Democratic leaders like Schiff and now the Nadd, who are driving full speed into the brick wall (Pelosi knows, which is why she’s right behind them, every step of the way). It’s like the proverbial dog who chases the car and then wonders what to do when he finally catches it – just before the car backs up and runs him over.

He’s also right that the Dems are just digging the hole deeper. Sooner or later, the Biden criminal syndicate gets exposed and that quickly leads to lots of people in very high places. But that’s IF the system can handle the spotlight. Deals might be made to protect the guilty on both sides of the aisle. That’s the American way!
Now let’s look ahead just a bit…..less than 12 months. OK assume the Left/DeepState is humiliated, like say at the Bay of Pigs…..and this failure is even worse. Ginsburg replaced with an Amy Barrett, Trump’s wrath destroys them in a second term etc…..then what?

A Trump with nothing to lose in a second term will be able to play by “no rules”…….It will be the climax of the 4th Turning and many will suffer and die. I don’t look forward to this.
The 4th turning is coming no matter who is in office. If Trump wins it may be staved off, but probably not. If the left/deep state has gone this far to prevent his run…well if he is elected its going to be worse. If he isnt re-elected, half the country will cry foul as the left tramples on whats left of the country and drive folks to anger and action. This is, of course, coinciding with the teetering economic conditions across the globe that will eventually force the hand of the establishment to crash the whole thing. We worry about our situation here, but every country in S. American is currently undergoing communist/socialist disruptions and coops, whether through China or the CIA . …its coming no matter what.
Better it come now so I can help deal with it than a few years down the road when it’s left to my kids and grandkids.

The Democrats are “all in” on this and will push it to the limit no matter what. Now they are trying to discredit and intimidate Nunes and other Trump backers by subpoenaing their phone records. These fuckers are not going to back down. And the reason they won’t is because the media has their back.

As we have seen with people like AOC and DeBlasihole, if only 4% of the people in the one party states bother to vote in primaries, and that 4% is comprised mostly of the loon faction, one cannot expect anything but losers and bad actors cemented in place in perpetuity.
So long as the voting machines are controlled, the dems have nothing to worry about. Today it is announced by Botox Nancy that the impeachment will move forward, the dems, sadly, have no choice.
What many people don’t understand in all this farce is the optics. The dem constituency isn’t capable of critical thinking or questioning the party line, they are script followers and regurgitators of said script. Supposedly intelligent people still believe Russia colluded with Trump to win the election. They believe anything they see on the TEEVEE and Rachel Maddow is a Journalist…a reputable, unbiased true journalist….
Passing through Iowa after a several hundred mile trip with my customarily marked “Re-Elect Nobody” in the dust of the back window, we passed a trucker who immediatly blew his horn. He then got in the left lane behind us, following very close so I got in the right lane. As soon as I was clear he floored it and pulled away from us. I told my wife “I guess he didn’t want to read that any more”. I’ve been saying this for thirty years so I don’t expect to change for Trump.
I hate career politicians. So I underline the No part of nobody now.

Libertarian presidential candidate Andre Marrou once said that of the two major parties, the democrats will always be the one to survive because they like to give away tons of free shit for votes, and who can refuse Santa? I hope he is wrong, but both major parties hand out goodies, just to different groups of folks, and those with the larger number of recipients will likely be the winners……for sure, WE will all be the losers in the game.

This will never end, this is how losers deal with life, they double down, until they are either in jail or dead.
I have never known an alcoholic who decided on his own to quit, it always takes external causes,
like a DWI or Health crisis, or, the statement in a will that says “unless you quit, you get no inheritance”
At this point, the Dems are raging alcoholics, who have discovered mixing booze with pills gives and even better kick, they have zero incentive to quit.
I will predict that after Trump wins in 2020, the Dems will attempt another impeachment, only this one will take 3-4 years.
They are in denial, they are like little children, they would rather do nothing (as in another impeachment) then actually have to pass legislature to support the will of this president.
Which is why a 4th Turning is different…..we have reached a point where compromise is no longer possible. Neither side will quit for to do so would mean extinction. Therefore it is a fight to a definitive outcome where one side is utterly defeated and a new social contract is formed: America is launched and is an independent state, 1776, America is no longer a Federalist organization of Sovereign States, 1860, America helps to defeat fascism and becomes the world’s hyperpower 1940, America…………??????? 2020. See what I mean post-2020-2025 or so America will have gone through a great gate in history and be forever different…..We could be a socialist authoritarian state or we could reaffirm a commitment to liberty and a reduced role for the Federal government.
The dems are not in denial, they are looking to grab power. They want to keep the status quo of corruption in DC, they want to hide their party skeletons (Ukraine cookie jar for Biden, Kerry, Pelosi etc. is the tip of the iceberg.) They want to push their Marxist agenda (remember that under Communism it is the politicians and bureaucrats who live well and eat gourmet food while the peons stand in line for chicken feet IF they can find them)
They will never quit until another Marxist Obama is in office. Never forget, you didn’t build that, the bill has to pass to see what’s in it, guns are only for the police, any man can menstruate, homosexuality is better than heterosexuality, it’s ok to have sex with children, four year old toddlers can decide what sex they want to be and abortion is legal even AFTER a baby is born…these are the democrats

I wouldn’t be so sure that the Democrats will fail at impeachment. There is a lot of truth to the old saying that the Democrats are the evil party and the Republicans are the stupid party. I think they have a lot of confidence that they can pull it off. I don’t know how for sure, but there are a lot of compromised senators. Maybe the pro-impeachment faction of the Deep State thinks it can threaten or blackmail enough senators to get a conviction.

Mr. S. was holding back… or possibly he was tired. The filet knife wasn’t even out, much less used. A couple of strokes from the meat axe, some paring around the edges, and yes, the dirk for the ‘light bird’ who certainly deserved it, but the scalpel put away in its case for another day.
