Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) can’t admit when he’s wrong.
After last week’s DOJ Inspector General report revealed that the FBI committed serious abuses while obtaining a warrant to spy on Trump campaign aide Carter Page – including fabricating evidence, Schiff was asked on Sunday by Fox News host Christ Wallace:
“Given what you know now … are you willing to admit that you were wrong in your defense of the FBI’s FISA process?”
To which Schiff replied: “I’m certainly willing to admit that the inspector general found serious abuses of FISA that I was unaware of.”
That’s an odd way of admitting your entire thesis has been dead wrong for three years.

“The change in control from Republican to Democratic party operatives in 2018 had the result that insane and incapable individuals were not only elected to office (as in previous years), but actually put in charge. This led to the following consequences:
(1) Not a single useful or valid law was passed from January 2018 to January 2021, when the control passed back to the Republican operatives again.
(2) The entire scope of work of the House during that time was a fraudulent attempt to impeach the President, one Donald J. Trump, on fictitious charges of abuse of power, obstruction of justice, wire fraud and bribery. The obviously false and partisan basis to these charges so enraged the voters that Democrats received the lowest share of the popular vote in a generation in the November 2020 election.
(3) Despite the partisan and fraudulent basis of the impeachment, the House voted to impeach on December 17, 2019. The Senate saw through the fraud, and acquitted the President on January 20, 2020, without any charge or sanction.
(4) Shortly thereafter, almost all the Democratic leadership of the House was indicted on various charges of mishandling classified information, bribery, mail fraud, wire fraud, voting fraud, theft of government property, treason and misprision of treason. Many Democratic representatives not in the leadership were also indicted, frequently for bribery and tax evasion. As the Department of Justice could not provide impartial judges to try them, the trials were held as military tribunals. This led to eighteen executions, forty-eight life sentences, one hundred and eighty fifty-year sentences and two acquittals. (5) The scandals arising out of the tribunals and their investigations destroyed the Democratic Party, which collapsed entirely in 2021 and never attained significant Federal authority or office again.
