When people desperately trying to avoid a fight are left no choice but to fight, they are often the fiercest fighters imaginable.
The reason being an explosion of righteous anger – of berserker fury – directed at the bullies who will not leave them be.
Governor “Coonman” Northam of Virginia is such a bully.
He intends to rescind the current, ancient and long-acknowledged legal right of Virginians who aren’t criminals to possess more than single shot rifles and pistols – by criminalizing anyone who does possess them. These newly minted “criminals” will then be required to turn in their formerly legal firearms to the government or be subject to Hut! Hut! Hutting! by armed government workers sent by the Coonman to enforce his criminal acts.
This is a recipe for 1775.
Another bully – Thomas Gage, the British military governor of Massachusetts – attempted a “Coonman” in that year, which lit the fuse of what became the Revolutionary War. He sent armed government workers – Redcoats – to confiscate the weapons of the colonists – who had finally had their fill of being bullied. These long-ago AGWs eventually gunned down several colonists on the village green at Lexington.
Word of the massacre spread and the people rose in response, fighting back with whatever means available, harrying the column of armed government workers as it made its way back toward Boston, some 18 miles away.
The fury incited by that long-ago “Coonman” was subsequently described by himself:
“These people show a spirit and conduct against us they never showed against the French . . . They are now spirited up by a rage and enthusiasm as great as ever people were possessed of and you must proceed in earnest or give the business up. A small body acting in one spot will not avail, you must have large armies making diversions on different sides, to divide their force. The loss we have sustained is greater than we can bear. Small armies cannot afford such losses, especially when the advantage gained tends to do little more than the gaining of a post.”
Eight years later, those furious colonists finally succeeded in getting the bullies off their backs – permanently.
They probably never imagined that homegrown bullies even worse than “Coonman” Gage would eventually arise to torment them.
The current “Coonman” may not realize just how very tired the people are of being bullied – and how willing they are to fight, if a fight is forced upon them.
The “Coonman” feels confident. He has the full weight and force of the government and all its means at his disposal. He has legions of armed government workers available to enforce his writ.
But he hasn’t got the fury – and that is something he ought to reckon with, before it it is too late.
If this thing starts, it will not end until one or the other side is no longer capable of fighting. It will be no-quarter-given. It will be awful.
But it will be righteous.
And it may be necessary.

“They” will have to back down. If this line is crossed by the proles, all other lines are in jeopardy of being crossed as well and “they” can’t risk that. Not yet at least.
This is just a probing exercise to gauge sentiment and it doesn’t look good for “them”.
I’m not so sure. The arrogance and hubris of the left affords them a surety of the righteousness of their cause. “They” have witnessed the right back down and give ground for decades. They think the right to be weak, and rightly so, at least to an extent. If the right wants freedom it must take it. And I mean take it. Ripping it from those hands that have stolen it then cutting off the hand. The left has been, in one form or another, raping our daughters and women, destroying the spirit of our boys and men, stealing our private property, and crushing our way of life. Even if “they” back down, will you go back to the way things were? “They” will.
The one thing the left wants to avoid is a non-Fabian, armed scenario. Give them credit where credit is due. They have performed a fantastic job of destroying this country gradually.

Her speech was the most succinct, to-the-point explanation of our Constitutional Republic, what our government should be and was designed to be and her explanation of what the 2nd Amendment is all about and then her ending about how killing Ann Frank was legal and ‘lawful’according to the laws of the Reich. There’s something else that’s flying under the radar that should be of great concern to thinking people. Congress just now funded a bi-partisan bill to study gun violence with monies going to CDC and NIH to help understand and control gun violence. This is yet another back door gun control scheme that ties in Red flag laws, more background checks and taking of guns on the basis of ‘pre-crime.’ The anti-gunners will never stop, they will go after ammo, parts, manufacturers and anything else that removes access to legal firearms….

I don’t think they thought this would go this far. I think the East Coast liberal retard communist blue blood better-thans, like Coonman and his ilk, really believed people would just back down. I think they still think this is a very vocal, but largely empty, protest and the right will back down if they actually push this forward. And I think desperate voices in the governor’s mansion and state government are trying to convince them to stop this, but I think in their hubris, they’ll ignore them and move forward.
Anyone here ever read John Ross’ Unintended Consequences? He wrote it in the mid-90s and it was an incredible book, both in its scope and its message and its literary qualities. It was an incredible epic story of guns in modern American history and what happens when the govt oversteps its bounds and pushes the population too far. Basically, the fedgov triggers the population to begin a nation-wide assassination campaign against bureaucrats and special agents in all agencies. After a couple weeks, govt employees are resigning left and right and the patriots are racking up kills all over the place. Eventually, the fedgov has to back down amid widespread chaos and massive resignations.
It was one hell of a book.

I am shocked and pleased to see it on sale for $28.95. The original hard covers from the first 4 printings in the 90s were selling for $100-$250 on ebay and amazon for years. It was ridiculous. I intend to get a new copy, myself.

I was concerned that the pdf has about 15% fewer pages, but I checked my fifth printing hardcover copy and each page in the pdf version has about that much more on it so it’s probably OK.

I have a 1st print copy complete with dustcover in nearly perfect shape that I bought used on Amazon about 8 or 9 years ago. Can’t remember how much it was but it wasn’t ridiculously expensive.

I hear you. I did some research into the Catholic priest scandal. There were some parishes everyone knew were run by pedophiles and the boys were considered to be especially special to God for the service they performed for the priests.

The march is just another chance for the government to target you. But please, all of you delusional enough to think a march will sway a guy who kills babies for a living – have at it.

I see and at times have felt that way too. Don’t project failure onto a situation that has reached a new and unknown plateau. The feds know what we all look like, have recorded our voices, know what we buy and just about everything else. I do realize that ideally we choose our battles; sometimes the battle chooses us.
That’s the thing, “Fear” is a powerful motivator. Your fear of losing your rights must outweigh your fear of gov’t retribution. If you fear gov’t retribution, you aren’t really free now are you?
Anybody (regular guy/normie/helot) who thinks they are “free” today is brain dead. I think it’s less about freedom than how much shit you are willing to eat so the State won’t cage or kill you.
You’re only as free as you live. Freedom isn’t a power or a right, it’s a way of life. Liberty has to be fought for every waking moment in the way you behave and think. Dependency is the default state of all mankind.
That almost sounds like liberty requires work.

As has been stated, the left has seen the right back down for a long time. The left has used violence to no consequence; it is always the right that has been arrested and indicted (Anitfa). There is no reason for the left no to be fully confident in their ability to carry out these treasonous violations of the rights of Americans. However, the left doesnt understand the essence of fury of right thinkers.
For the most part, they (right) want to be left alone and the truth is as long as life could continue with minimal hinderance the right would just “grin and bear” the consequences of the left gaining ground. Individual thinkers (as the right tends to be) have to be affected as a whole before they will act… unfortunate but true. The 2nd amendment is that one act that will have an affect on the whole and will have dire consequences down the road. The loss of the 2nd will mean the sacrifice of everything… no security in the fact that the populace can fight back if need be. Any and all securities are erased if the 2nd is lost creating that final choice of the last of any freedoms or absolute servitude. Hong Kong displays, loudly, that those who have experienced freedoms will be willing to die to avoid the chains of servitude.
Without the 2nd Amendment, the Constitution has no meaning.
WHO? is going to go door to door to collect the guns? Any “order taker” who does this, deserves to die. Don’t forget Solzhenitsyn’s quote about not fighting back.

The ‘order takers’ paid with your tax dollars (State AND Federal — it’s all fungible), who take orders from the order givers in State legislatures and Governor’s Mansions as well as those in federal employ all also paid with your tax dollars, backed by “science” and “studies” funded by your tax dollars. Remembering that many (most, in VA) of those who elected those governors and legislators are subsidized or employed directly or indirectly with your tax dollars.
Do the order takers deserve death? Or deserve to no longer be paid at your expense?
They deserve death for taking orders you keep paying them to take?
Of course, by all means, take lives …
but remember to never take the risk of not paying your taxes.
Always pay your taxes (fund your own destruction). It’s what responsible, upstanding citizens (serfs) do. You can bravely kill police officers (but not property-confiscating sheriffs or government revenuers), but don’t risk losing property and wealth or risk others thinking poorly of you for not meeting your “obligations” under law.
Shooting should be the first option, and taking steps to stop paying taxes should never be considered … ever. It’s your duty. You’d be an irresponsible freeloader if you didn’t, and you don’t want to be thought of that way. So, BLOAT and Molon Labe and kill the order takers (as if they won’t be replaced using your $$ to fund it) and all that; but always, always pay.
Always pay because the government has to live within its means and its budget, and would never spend more than they get in taxes or borrow a full 25% of what they spend. Of course, if they did, the debt wouldn’t ever matter. And NEVER, NEVER EVER think about what it means if the debt doesn’t matter (that they could borrow 100% of what they spend and never need your tax dollars) NOR what it means if the debt does matter (that your taxes fund your own inevitable destitution/destruction).

So, always pay; but be ready to shoot anyone who might come for your guns (don’t worry, they won’t come while you’re asleep, or on the toilet, or, God forbid, while you’re at work {to pay those taxes}). And don’t take time off from work {and paying taxes} to go and shoot the bastards, you’ll have to do that on your ‘free-time’ because you can’t not pay your taxes.
Or, vote harder. If you vote harder, you may get a (temporary) reprieve … during which, you should keep paying your taxes.
Remember what Solzhenitsyn (never) said: “Fight back! But always keep funding those you’re fighting back against because you’d be an unethical dirtbag if you didn’t. And besides, where will the funding for the camps that we burn in later come from? No taxes, no camps. No camps, no burning later. So, finance the camps, the guards, and the system that creates them. You don’t want to be considered a ‘shirker’, do you?”
Be a responsible upstanding citizen, and shoot before, during, and after seeing the whites of their eyes, and make sure to tell people you’ll shoot to protect your guns but never shoot to protect the wealth they take in taxes (don’t want folks to think you’re some layabout, ne’er-do-well, but you DO want them to think you’re John Rambo).
Some of this is sarcasm, some isn’t; and not directed solely at Diogenes.
Stop paying taxes if you’re man enough, and until then STFU with molon labe and what you’ll do to the “order takers” because unless they come for you first out of everyone, you’ll be consistently paying for what gets done to others until they get around to you — and by the time they do get around to you (after you’ve funded the murder of, incarceration of, or theft from others) there’ll be no one left to help you (and why the f*** should they) or to notice when you either die with balls (but no sense) or wet your pants and give in.

However, they have yet to feel or see just how violent these law abiding patriot citizens can be when bullied to their limit. There has been much tolerance by the law abiding, but their patience has worn thin to the point of them realizing politicians and elected leaders refuse to obey the laws and cherry pick laws they want enforced. Allowing illegals to roam free in sanctuary cities is just but one example.
The citizens will enforce all laws by force and will do so soon when they are pushed beyond their limits. January 20 VA laws will kick off their testing of this patience. Thankfully many sheriffs are on board otherwise this could get nasty quickly. I just hope the sheriffs are not shills planted as a proxy to tame the anger while allowing the left full tyranny. 2020 will be one to remember if the citizenry is truly up for protecting their rights and freedoms. I predict many other patriots from other States show up in defense to make a statement.
There should be a movement of solidarity shown by patriots marching on courthouses in every State, County and town across America to make a point on a specific day. Because marching on Washington is too costly and time consuming. Of course the media wont cover it unless there are rainbow flag narratives.

I read the following recently and, being an old man myself immediately related to it:

There is a fight coming that we all must prepare for. Not just with firearms. We must be ready to take the fight to the enemy, the socialist democrat tyrants (or whatever name you want for them), and make sure none are left standing when we are done. Politicians and bureaucrats first. Cut off the head then tackle the writhing mess that remains. Start from 1785 and make sure that it can’t happen again. The new constitution should include one term limit for all elected offices, no pay for serving in elected government, limit of 5 years for all civil servants.

Gun owners in Va are only now talking about standing up to tyranny while Virginia has had a tyrannical communist government for decades. Only now that it affects your rights do they wish to make a stand. Some of the tyrannical acts of the communist gov I have witnessed in Virginia over decades:
Levying war on sick people – the gov denies people their god given right to grow, process, possess and trade natural plant medicines, flying helicopters over properties to unlawfully search without warrants, seizing land, vehicles, cash, guns and other property and even killing people for having natural plant medicines.
Using courts and public schools as a weapon of war – local law enforcement, prosecutors, judges teachers and school administrators conspire to target individual children for lifetime entry into the criminal ‘justice’ system – putting popular kids into the system to remove them as future political opponents, forcing kids into probation systems where they are required to get drug tested multi-times per week, have bureacrats come to their homes and tell them how to live, forcing children whoms parents have health insurance for them, into private drug rehab centers whom is partly owned by the judge whom is issuing court orders for them to attend the judge’s rehab center charging $15k per month per person paid by insurance for being forced into the drug rehab center.
Taking driver’s license of people whom have never been accused of a criminal act causing those people lose their jobs and totally financially destroying them forever -there is something like 600,000 people in Virginia whom have had their license suspended.
Law enforcement covering up crimes of football players, while charging others of the same act to protect significant revenue from football games and prestige of their sports institution.
Law enforcement targeting people whom they pull over and unlawfully search 2 or 3 times per day, every day until they drove the people nuts.
Lawyers whom work with judges and prosecutors to get a cut of drug trade in their local town.
Checkpoints with tyrants doing unlawful searches, having no warrants and no probable cause.
I would have to write a whole book to detail the communist criminal ‘justice’ system in Virginia that drains people of all their financial resources via state programs -classes, probation, drug tests, counseling etc. that literally drains people of tens of thousands of dollars over years of programs many times that will be caused by the state suspending a license without cause and without notification that then puts the person’s tag in the license plate scanner database which causes a cop to pull them over and then BOOM their whole life is turned upside down for the next ten years.
Where have all these tough guys been who claim they are protecting liberty? Now the communist Virginia gov is going to make you their next target and so you are pissed. You guys haven’t done shit for decades while your communities laws and liberties have been systematically dismantled. It seems you may fight for your own interests but what about fighting to stop the entire communist gov in Va? Odds are no one will “come and take them”. Much to confrontational.
More likely they’ll send you a letter, telling you that you have X time to turn in your guns to Y location. If you don’t then $$ amount of fines and penalties will be applied, along with say 24% interest compounded weekly.
If you have property, a lien will be placed on it until the guns are turned in and the fines and penalties paid.
After some period of time a felony warrant will be issued, along with by now fines that total in the hundreds of thousands. Your property will be seized. Your bank account also will be seized and you won’t be able to open a new one or cash a check. Credit card? Forgeddaboudit.
All of this has been done without a single face to face meeting. No confrontation, not even a real address on the letters…just a PO box probably in another state. And, you’ve lost all your property, your money, your retirement, and your ability function outside of barter or cash.
This is how they enforce unpopular laws in California today.
Another thing…since this has been all ‘under the radar’, how many people will even be aware that it’s happening? Where is the existential threat to fight back against? It’s easy enough to get people to rally when doors are being kicked in by the gestapo, but a mealy mouthed letter?
My take is that a the first receipt of letter(s) that starts the war – a shooting war. Not against the cops because they haven’t done anything yet…unless they’re guarding the political idiots that started this. Much like the book discussed previously, ANY ACTION REGARDING 2A provokes the revolution.
