The Greenhouse Effect Can Lead to Global Cooling

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

There is a new study out that actually is starting to understand cycles. Climate experts have discovered that there is a natural feedback loop that creates the basis of a cycle. It is like the words your mother told you, “Too much of anything is bad.” Many kids would love to just eat chocolate bars for dinner.

There is a cycle to everything and the light has gone off that even if we accept that global warming is caused by the increase in CO2, the greenhouse effect is not something that would EVER be a linear projection for that is impossible for anything.

What they have discovered is the as CO2 has increased, temperatures have actually decreased by 0.2C to 0.25C degrees (0.36F to 0.45F) since the 1980s. This shocking unexpected trend has shown the obvious flaw in the whole climate change argument. As carbon dioxide emissions increase, it feeds a surge in plant life growth, which low and behold, consumes the CO2. The study was published in Nature.

WhiteEarthEffect

I wrote about the opposite event back in 2013 which is known as the White Earth Effect. If the Earth ever turned so cold that it was completely covered in ice and snow, then the white surface would reflect the sunlight rather than absorbing the heat. This is also why you get sunburn while skying for the sunlight is being reflected like you are on a frying pan.

Under the White Earth Effect, the planet would never again move back to a warm climate. As long as the entire surface is not covered, then we will never warm back from an Ice Age. As long as there are patches that are not covered in snow and ice, the planet will absorb the heat and the ice age will reverse.

There is a natural feedback loop in both directions of heat and cold so the planet will NEVER simply become too hot or too cold to a point where it would end life.

Most AGW models I’ve read about place the sun’s radiative heat inputs to the earth at a constant value – there is no consideration of this input varying over time, nor is there any way we could know how it varied. All other potential variable inputs are ignored, set to a constant, so that CO2 can then be claimed as the correlative variable input to temperature. I’ve never seen a model that considers if nitrogen, oxygen, or argon play a contributive role to a non-AGW climate outcome.

Geology also plays a role too over long periods of time. About 3.5 MM years ago, the Atlantic and Pacific oceans were joined as there was no Central America. For an unknown reason, the Pacific plate switched from very low angle subduction to strike-slip (its current form along the San Andreas fault), but further south the Cocos Plate broke off and switched from strike-slip to subduction, breaking off what is the Caribbean Plate and forming the mountains of Southern Mexico and Central America. Once the Atlantic and Pacific were isolated, the warm Atlantic currents brought more moisture further north, which froze in winter and began to accumulate in to the northern polar ice cap.

Then about 5,000 years ago, the climate began to get hotter and dryer, transforming what used to be temperate grasslands in the Sahara and Arabian deserts into their present state. This started a long time ago and what is branded AGW is just a continuation of natural phenomena that we don’t fully understand.

It’s all about taxing and controlling people. The tech giants and uber-wealthy spend millions to affect peoples thinking and bend them to their will. Yeah, the climate changes all the time, soon it will be summer and it will get hotter. The usual stuff will happen, storms and fires and volcanos going off. I at least don’t pretend I can control the weather or the sun. We live in a world of morons waiting to be told how to live and what to believe.

Yawn…someone wake me up when they can have a face to face with mother nature on how we can predict all this. So far all I see is 99% fear and emotion and fiction.

Senator Malcolm Roberts received confirmation today that the Government relies on discredited reports from the United Nations as a basis for its climate policies.
