Bernie’s family members are being looked at for pocketing $12 million or more taken as “advertising placement commissions.” My limited understanding is that the campaign management folks are paid a percentage of the money spent on advertising. Bernie’s family has assumed the role of placing ads and thereby pocket millions from the donations.
We have all heard of how every Biden relative has received huge government contracts in areas where they lack any experience.
The way it works is, ad agencies get a 15% discount on Radio and Television purchases. The agency charges the client full boat and pockets the difference. It’s not stealing, but I think Bernie’s sister runs the “agency” out of her house. Nothing weird about that except for the family connection.
As many many others have done as well.

I enjoy watching folks that are SURE the media has been lying constantly for years subconsciously listening to the media and singing along anyway. Ha ha. It’s amazing effective, the illusion.
Here’s how it works in my head: I listen to FOX, and Trump, and MSNBC, and CNN, and I notice what they say in parallel, what they say almost as opposite sides of the same story. I assume only this stuff is intended to have effect, and everything else is probably BS.
Right now, both sides are singing the same song, almost to a stanza. FOX is singing about how Bernie is about to be screwed just like last year by the DNC, to sow division and distrust of the DNC on the ‘left’ in America.
At the same time, MSNBC/CNN is pushing hard the narrative that Biden is the only one who can beat Trump, while at the same time purposefully ignoring his years of shady deals, profiteering, and sexist creepy behavior to the shagrin of everyone aware of these thing, left or right.
They are also pushing the idea that Bernie’s campaign folks are nasty online. They are also pushing the idea that Bernie is a communist, etc. They are also pushing the idea that Bernie just yells, and he has no plans for how to pay for stuff, etc. (Never mind that we can find trillions of dollars at the drop of a hat for a new jet fighter already obsolete years ago. The F1.)
But where is Biden? How come he’s just dropped out of the live coverage on TV? How come he’s not doing interviews? How come you don’t get to see him speak? Bernie spoke for more than 60 minutes to crowds of +15K in Chicago and Flint MI this weekend (both on SATURDAY!), but these did not appear on TV. Why not? If you pay attention, you can see in plain sight they are doing everything they can to imply that Bernie divides the country and cannot unite it. He’s old and unfit and angry. But where’s Biden’s stump speech coverage? There is none because he can’t speak at the moment. Google it.
At the same time, they are not talking about what Bernie wants to do AT ALL. Never talking about what he wants to do, just implying “everything he wants to do” is too expensive. These are the same talking heads that didn’t care that the latest tax cut gave trillions to corporations and ultra rich folks, and our tax cuts will be rolled back completely over the next eight years. Where is that in the news? They don’t want to you remember that, so they only said it once or twice before the passing of the bill. Since, nada.
I see they are doing everything they can to get the “left” to choose Biden for sure, 100% every presentation is bent on this.
Why? So folks like you remain vulnerable to the idea that Bernie and his ideas are awful without knowing a goddamn thing about what he wants to do at all.
Trump will continue to tell you he’s brilliant, and that he’s doing so much for you and us. But he isn’t any better than Obama was for us. Just like Obama, he’s dumping money into war, dumping money into business subsidies and tax cuts, and he’s giving in to every major big money interest including the banks. He’s unregulated our water and wild places. He’s opened our environment up to corporate dumping and plunder.
They will NEVER let you vote for Bernie. NO WAY EVER will BERNIE be the nominee for the Demoncrats. NEVER. So you can stop panicking. That’s what they want you to do. Panick over a ghost. Bernie will take away everything and we’ll all starve. Even the Right wants the Left to Choose Biden…that’s how effective the treatment is.
But they are having trouble with this at the moment. The youth are really rallying around Bernie, as are many who were there in 2016. It’s getting harder to use just TV ads to influence folks under 40. And if they aren’t able to manufacture the consent for Biden…and Bernie’s the only one standing, they have a huge problem on their hands.
WHY?
He’s pro-Union. You know, the kind that kept wages up and fought for workers’ rights in America throughout our history. You have to be pretty brainwashed by TV to think Unions are nasty…but I bet many folks reading this default to that assumption. Yikes. Neither sides wants us to remember that Unions work for workers. No one wants that.
Bernie’s pro-Universal Health care? Why? Not because he wants to give your money to poor people. Because as it stands right now, we are a captive population of sheep that BigPharm is making as much profit from as possible using any means necessary to extract more. Opiods, insulin, vaccines…all the deregulation of these industries and their culpabilty in the face of malfescence was all but eliminated long ago. We are talking nearly 100 billion in barely taxed and often subsidized profit per year folks. Forgetaboutit.
He wants Public Schools to be good again. Remember when you were in High School and you actually looked up to your teachers? I had the same teachers for History and Math that my father did in WI going up. They coached me in football and hoops. They taught beyond the requirements, not up and to them. They taught what they thought was best in the way they thought best, treated like professionals. The beauty of our public school system has been ruined by successively underfunding it starting way back with Clinton…Bush…Obama…Now Trump.
He wants to take big money out of politics. He wants to tax Amazon and the 100+ other multinationals that pay zero income tax. He wants to reduce the profits of the banks, Big pharma, corporate agriculture, and big oil. Don’t we all want these things?

But nobody else here sees that the only one no one on TV wants to win is Bernie? Really? I find it shocking they are being so transparent, and exaggerating about him so much. If nobody else sees Trump for the wannabe Ruling Class card carrying clown he is, that would be surprising for such a ‘woke’ bunch of old folks. Most Christian folks here in PA are pretty disappointed with what seems to be nothing more than a reality TV show where he’s the director and star. My neighbors voted for him as well, but they won’t this year. They don’t want to vote for Biden any more than we wanted to vote for Hillary. So most will stay home, I’d bet.
The reality is, I voted for Trump. I voted to throw a wrench in the mix. I hoped he’d be able to expose some of the corruption on both sides.
Instead, it seems he saw it as a way to enrich himself and his family while also prying open the door to the Ruling Class of the New World Order.
Hate to break it to you, but the NWO is all but here already long ago. The celebration and coming out party is all that’s really left. All the laws have been passed.

Elections are controlled to the extent to which only landslides are hard to swing. And if he does win a landslide, they’ll kill him, call it a heart-attack, and install his establishment VP, Liz Warren.

How do you think the brain does that without even being told to do it?
Bernie Sanders frightens people because he is the elephant in the room. He is suggesting there is something so terrible about the gridlock going on at high levels of our government that we need to do like the Russians did and kill the Tsars and take over the means of production and distribution. Bernie is the elephant because he is right about the gridlock and he is right that a complete paradigm shift needs to happen. Yes, I think they will kill him if they have to.
Some people here at TBP do not seem to know how to skip over a comment they are not interested in. It is why it sometimes becomes a Monkey pit here in the comment streams. I’ve tried to clear the way for you to come in as a pre-approved opinion worthy of being heard. But, they will still throw turds at you and I hope you just ignore them.

Personally, I think your approach is the missing link between Millennials and Boomers: A Gen X teacher who speaks the language of both generations riding a bike and telling us what he thinks and knows. Boomers should realize they need to listen to the transitional generation. That transitional Generation, like it or not, is Gen X.
