It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. So each time you visit the site, I would ask that you consider the value that you receive and have received from The Burning Platform and the community of which you are a vital part. I can't do it all alone, and I need your help and support to keep it alive. Please consider contributing an amount commensurate to the value that you receive from this site and community, or even by becoming a sustaining supporter through periodic contributions. A reader sent the vid to my blog.

I recall someone else here had also posted videos of him on past threads.

Although I still haven’t finished it yet, he has some interesting interpretations of the data regarding the infectivity and mortality rates of COVID-19, some perspectives on how different countries have handled the “outbreak”, and some observations as to why Italy was gobsmacked more than the other nations.

I’ll listen, but I can’t look at the picture of him without imagining him asking if I enjoyed the veal.

Lol I was thinking on a parallel metaphysical timeline he might have a syndicated children’s show; and, on yet another, he’s married to Cher.

Public Policy 101: Step 1 – thoroughly define the problem; step 2 – obtain or generate reliable data bearing on the problem (e.g., randomized studies to determine extent of corona virus infection in population); step 3- act on the basis of the data with due consideration for people’s lives and available resources; step 4 – continually evaluate processes and outcomes and revise policy as needed.

Government policy response to Covid 19: Ignore, ignore, ignore, oh shit! Over-react! Shut everything down! Hell with the consequences to 99% of the population! Use as cover for the implosion of the world economy that was imminent before Covid-19 fortuitously (or purposely) emerged. Then claim success regardless of outcomes and use this as the excuse to maintain key draconian measures after the emergency has passed (e.g., tracking everyone’s cell phones to make sure they’re doing as told, as in Israel and China).

Another self-proclaimed YouTube medical professional that takes an opposing view.
Truth is your perception of events.
The virus is of less concern to me now as information about it is from one extreme to another. Medical officials influenced the decision to shut everything down. Are they changing their minds? Are they sticking with the original story to save face? Who fucking knows? If I catch it, so be it.
What is concern to me now is the economic devastation as a result of this virus. Jobs have been lost, income and savings are being depleted, have likely already depleted for many and Trump has announced that lockdowns should continue till the end of April. It’s obvious to most that the powers that be are robbing us blind. For now I think everyone is giving TPTB the benefit of the doubt about things returning to the way it was. That wait and see attitude is going to reach a boiling point if it doesn’t. And I don’t see how it could return to normal; it’s certainly not going to be normal for the throngs that will have lost everything. No job, no savings and bills up to their eyeballs. As for the way it looks now, it looks like there will be hell to pay sooner than most are expecting.

His basic premise is at the 14:00 -15:15 mark. 3% of Lombardy tested positive in February and was – at that time – asymptomatic. Being sanguine about that requires believing that those people remain asymptomatic and don’t progress on to more serious illness. Could be. Time will tell – as will random serological tests for antibodies to the disease.
