The last two food bank giveaways drew massive crowds and caused major delays on Route 837. When they had one at Kennywood last week, it drew over 800 cars and backed up for miles.
How did America go from “greatest economy ever” to “Greater Depression” so fast?

Oh Puhleezzz. There is no comparison from then to now. People “lining up” in their cars? Back then on foot, or not at all. Now people are so relatively better off there’s simply no basis or real hunger like in the Great Depression. Not yet anyway. But we may get there still at the rate we are going. I had relatives who went thru the GD and it was no joke. Today people cry about low speed internet and smart phone snafus. I am curious to see the Great Culling, it will be marvelous Darwinism in Action.
Not only lining up in their cars, but playing on their i-phones while they wait. As soon as they get their free food, they will head back to their government provided apartment and watch their big screen TV’s until the next give away.
How?
Because it wasn’t real. Lies only last as long as people are willing to believe them.
The bread lines have been as big (or nearly) for the last 30 or so years. They just aren’t readily visible. They recieve their free food via programs like WIC, EBT, etc. so, they don’t have to endure the “indignity” and we don’t know who they are but we know or at least should.
I doubt 0.1% need the free food now and their time would be better spent making a Victory Garden. In a few months, the grocery chain stores will be short a lot of food (TSC sent me a msg that they are running out of feed corn), much less the FSA’s lines. Besides the CV-19 effect on old Farmers/Ranchers, the migrant workers are now cut off, the 2020 weather should be like 2019; countries are hording whatever food, fertilizer, and seed they have (so forget imports); and the Dollar is “out of gas” and will Crash soon; the GSM always has a big volcano (and earthquake) and we are 20 years overdue (a Syzygy is due 4-6Jul2020). Brothers, this is the calm before the Storm (which will be a 5 hurricane).
Whether they need it or not, parasites will flock to free shit. THAT is the root problem of our immigration issue and many of our social ills.
I was looking for a graphic regarding what an EBT line around Walmart would look like (basically today’s PERMANENT soup kitchen). I came across this interesting piece from back during Obama’s administration. Didn’t investigate any of the claims or figures, but it certainly puts some perspective on just how bad the welfare problem in America IS, and why multi-mile lines of cars shouldn’t be too unexpected.

Just wanted to point out that the second picture the no way like the American way one is left wing propaganda, the people are lining up for food yes, but because their community was hit by a flood that ruined their homes and they are getting flood relief not a bread line because they were impoverished, So actually it was the American Way which provided them with emergency relief
