VIRUS USED TO TAKE MORE OF OUR LIBERTIES & FREEDOMS

In times of maximum danger to what’s left of our liberties I instinctively reach out to two people: Ron Paul and Glenn Greenwald. Not only do these two men have the experience and brains to read the tea leaves but also the courage to speak truth to power. Neither will back down under pressure. So when I learned Glenn was going to hold a discussion on the government’s use of the virus as a power grab I knew I had to listen. He didn’t disappoint. It was Glenn in top form.

It starts with Glenn delivering a preamble to frame the discussion. He identifies the use of crises for governments to steal more freedom and loot from the people they purport to represent. It is intrinsic behavior for all governments. He recalls that the hyped reaction to 911 led to the Patriot Act and the lies and deceit used to keep it alive and strengthened for almost two decades now. It also was used to start an illegal and immoral war we all know was begun under false pretenses and continued for no good reason. We are now witnessing an even more catastrophic event and ever more restrictions on our rights and outright theft of public money. We individuals are the only ones that can stop this. Where and when to begin? Here and now. It is Glenn at his best.

He has 3 other participants: Edward Snowden, Canadian journalist (a real one) Andray Domise and industrial animal farms investigative journalist, Cassie King.

Andray was fine but wilts between Edward and Cassie. He’s a bit too acquiescent of authority to please me. He starts at the 1.00 mark.

Cassie was wonderful. She starts at 1.30. Our overlords have pointed to China’s facilitating the conditions that cause animal viruses to make the leap to humans in markets that process live animals. They know that eating monkeys, bats, and other wild animals will gross out Americans. It’s done to further demonetize China and provide a smokescreen. She points out that the factory farms she has seen in the U.S. covertly and in contravention of the law (she faces 8 felony counts) are truly horrific. In case you ate today I won’t elaborate but what happens in these animal hell-holes is nauseating and massively more destructive to people and the environment than anything done in China.

I was a bit wary of Snowden’s message considering his former line of work but he was outstanding. He starts at 30.00. He calls for voluntary compliance to combat the pandemic, not government thuggery. He outlines a case that if we had a reasonable person we could trust to tell the truth (Ron Paul comes to mind) who explained in sensible and honest terms what steps needed to be taken the vast majority of people would gladly comply.

Whereas what’s been crammed down our throats is that the same people who caused the debacle are the ones solely required to solve it. It’s ludicrous on its face. There is every good reason to trust our family, friends and neighbors especially considering that we know what the government has and will do; use the crisis to expand their power over us and reward themselves and the corporate donor class. My favorite part is when Glenn plays the devil’s advocate and attacks Snowdon’s argument. His rebuttal was thrilling. If you don’t want to hear the whole broadcast please hear this part.

If we are going to win this battle and take back our God given rights we have to be armed intellectually. This entire broadcast will give you the will to resist and the ammunition needed to turn the tables on government intimidation.
