Fact: Sweden has had 74,333 confirmed cases
Fact: Sweden has had 5,500 deaths.
Fact: Sweden has approximately 10 million residents, with the largest number by far in and around Stockholm (~2.4 million..)
Fact: Sweden did not lock down anything, has not passed any mandatory mask ordinances or constrained the people. Instead they told their citizens to act like adults, rather than allowing them to be infantile screaming children (as we did here in the US.)
Fact: The death rate in Sweden from Covid-19 has fallen to an effective zero.
Fact: The case rate in Sweden is also falling precipitously. On a log chart the case rate is effectively flat.
Fact: SWEDEN HAS OBTAINED HERD IMMUNITY AND THEIR DOCUMENTED CASE RATE IS 0.7% OF THEIR POPULATION!
What?
That’s impossible, for a virus with an R0 of 3.0, right?
I don’t care what epidemiologists assert, or what anyone else asserts: It has happened.
When you eliminate whatever is not possible whatever is left must be true, no matter how much you’d prefer it not be. Your task then becomes to determine why it is true.
We know from the CDC that somewhere “around” 10x as many people have had Covid as have tested positive. This number is somewhat “fuzzy”, but that’s the CDC’s (and everyone else’s) “best guess”, given the data we have. Now, in the US, we’re pushing people to get tested but we can’t feed that test requirement on a reasonably expeditious basis; three months into this it is taking multiple days to get results back. Therefore the number of alleged “positives” is not only fanciful it’s outright garbage. RT-PCR tests are unreliable to start with; they have a material false positive rate. But if you won’t test people on a systematic and unchanged basis from a symptom (or not) predicate then the data you generate wobbles around and is worthless.
I’ve detected a number of these anomalies in the data here, and in the early days I called bull**** on the Wuhan data for the same reason — China was clearly changing the terms to get tested although I couldn’t prove it, because I’m not there. I don’t need to prove it; a virus does not “magically” infect people on a step-function basis. Over a large population that does not happen so when it does you’ve got a data discontinuity — that is, what you have is junk.
But it’s very hard to not count bodies.
People get mad if you don’t count them — or try to count them twice.
Sweden has had 5,500 deaths. They have 10 million people in their population. That’s a death rate from this bug of of one in 1,800, with virtually all of them being old and co-morbid individuals.
To put in percentage terms it’s a rate of 0.06% in the population.
Or, if you prefer, since we have about 330 million citizens, about 33 times that is 181,000 deaths in the US.
Total.
We’re at 125,590 total today.
That’s because we spread it out, but didn’t change a thing. Ultimately, we’ll wind up about where they are.
I remind you that yesterday their total was one death.
One.
For them, it’s over.
For us, it’s nearly over.
We’re three, maybe four week behind them if we quit dicking around.

My wife had coved. She is a nurse contracted it at work. The 5 days or so before she was sick we kissed hello goodby, ate at the same time. While she was sick ,about 7 days, I stayed with her and did the husband thing. She recovered now back at work. I did not get sick and neither did our son. So through a friend my wife and I had the antibody test done. She was positive, I was negative. She said it was like the flu with a little food poisoning thrown in. The Doctor used the Trump cocktail. Have a great day people. We could be communist this time best year. So enjoy today.

My oldest brother got sick last week, went to the doctor, and was told he had the Kung flu. Guess how they’re treating him? As if he had the flu.

Sweden didn’t have a lock down or mandatory mask wearing because the imported men wouldn’t abide and it would also piss them off. They then would eat the locals for breakfast. That’s true herd immunity.

‘Unknown pneumonia deadlier than coronavirus’ is sweeping across Kazakhstan, Chinese embassy claims as video emerges of families queuing to collect bodies from morgue
Kazakhstan is facing a deadly ‘unknown pneumonia’ more dangerous than coronavirus, China has claimed.
The alert comes as the Kazakh authorities have admitted both a ‘second wave’ spike in Covid-19 but also a sharp rise in pneumonia cases.
The Kazakh health ministry insisted on Friday the Chinese pneumonia claim was ‘not true’ despite an apparent surge in cases not confirmed as coronavirus.
And the ex-Soviet state has gone back into lockdown with the president issuing a ‘don’t panic’ message while also demanding strict adherence to lockdown rules.
Kazakhstan’s Health Ministry said it has recorded more than 32,000 cases of pneumonia between June 29 and July 5 alone, along with 451 deaths.
By comparison, the official number of coronavirus cases in Kazakhstan stands at 53,021, with 296 confirmed deaths from the disease.
Some 28,000 pneumonia patients with negative coronavirus tests are hospitalised in Kazakhstan, deputy health minister Azhar Giniyat said.

A large study from Spain showed that antibodies can disappear weeks after people have tested positive, causing some to question how possible it will be to attain herd immunity.
A study published in medical journal Lancet showed 14% of people who tested positive for antibodies no longer had antibodies weeks later.
“At present, herd immunity is difficult to achieve without accepting the collateral damage of many deaths in the susceptible population and overburdening of health systems,” the report reads.
Herd immunity is when enough of a population becomes immune to a disease through vaccine or already getting sick to make the spread unlikely between people in the community, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Herd immunity also protects newborns and people who can’t be vaccinated because it helps decrease person-to-person spread, the CDC said.
The study was conducted from April 27 to May 11 and involved 61,075 participants in Spain who answered a questionnaire on COVID-19 symptoms, received an antibody test, and donated a blood sample for more testing if they agreed.

FWIW– Lancet is 95% funded by pharmaceutical companies–Gilead in particular. Gilead happens to be the leading supplier of Remdesivir the “hydrocloroquine alternative” ( remember, Hydrocloroquine is generic and cheap) and has massive contracts with the WHO… don’t believe a thing the Lancet says, bought and paid for mouthpiece for Big Pharma and those who want you all vaccinated, chipped and tracked………….
Don’t be so stupid to get the test. If you had it and had no symptoms you are part of the 80% that now tests positive and Rachel/Richard uses your curiosity to lock us down. Nobody should be getting tested unless their life depends on it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re actually giving you some illness with that test.
We the public have no facts on the Covik19. All we hear and read is heckling from hens. But aside from them there is truthful information coming from non government experts.
And those are the only ones you should listen to, non-government experts.
Karl brings up a great point that is never brought up: some people might be immune because of some prior similar (coronavirus?) exposure or for some other reason. Another way to put to it (instead of immune) is that some people are, for some reason, non-susceptible. That would go a long way toward explaining why NYC has seen the new case and deaths rates plummet. They only reached about 20% seroprevalence, but if there’s another 50% who are non-susceptible, there’s your herd immunity. It has nothing to do with their supposedly fantastically heroic efforts to suppress it – which were obviously negated by their BLM/George Floyd protests/ riots.
The newest narrative is that if you have it and don’t show symptoms you are still sick. They are trying to say that the virus is still damaging you heart and lungs but that your body just isn’t fighting back and that is why you don’t feel sick. Further they are saying that non-sick people shed the virus 5 days longer than people that did get sick.
I’ve enjoyed reading some heated debates on allegedly non-political sites that I visit.
