Flight 93 Crashed

Guest Post by The Zman

The sad story of Jeff Session and immigration patriotism came to an end in the Alabama senate run-off. Sessions was soundly beaten by former football coach and Mitch McConnell sock puppet, Tommy Tuberville. Of course, President Trump was ebullient, as he had campaigned against his old friend and supporter in one of his now typical fits of rage. He blames Sessions for his many blunders early in his tenure. Trump will not have Jeff Sessions to kick around anymore.

It is also the death of immigration patriotism. Sessions was always the best on immigration when he was in the Senate. He actually got some real things done on the administrative side when he was in the administration. Tuberville, in contrast, is just a dope who spent his life coddling black guys who can run fast. Washington recruited him, because they were right about the voters of Alabama. They care more about sportsball than the future of their grandchildren.

Trump and his stage handlers will read this as confirmation that his base is too dumb to care about the issues. They will just fall in behind their orange hero. It is the same madness that happened in the Bush re-election. Bush finked on his voters for four years, but won a second term by pointing at the Democrats. The implication was, “vote for Bush unless you want those terrible people to be right.” The mouth-breathers are doing exactly as expected. They are trusting the plan.

Whether or not this works is hard to know. In 2004, the goal was to get something close to 60% of the white vote. Bush did reasonably well with Hispanics and blacks were not angry about anything in particular. Whites were 77% of the vote, so getting in the high fifties was the goal. Given the partisanship in states in the Northeast, losing those white votes was meaningless unless it hurt with white votes in competitive states. Bush got 58% of the white vote and enough Hispanic support to win.

In 2020, Trump will need to get something closer to 70% of the white vote. That’s due to the declining white share and the fact blacks are super-angry now. Despite his foot-washing for four years, they still think he is an orange supremacist and horrible racist. What does not get discussed in public, but has surely been discussed in private, is the math of this election. In 2016, whites made up 70% of the vote. In 2020 it will be 65%. The actuarial tables are working against Trump and the GOP.

Putting that aside, Trump will feel vindicated in his decision to abandon immigration and could very well swing the other way. He told some Mexican media outlet that he plans to amnesty the DACA people. He just reversed course on the student visa scam. In an age where American college students must stay home and do their college work on-line, the children of Chinese Communist Party members will get student visas so they can attend classes on American campuses.

The inner party, of course, understands the math entirely. In fact, they have been working hard to create this math since the 1960’s. Just as immigrants were used as union busters in the industrial age, immigrants are used as coalition busters in the liberal democratic age. The way for a small group to maintain power is to make sure there are no natural coalitions that can form up and challenge for power. That’s the game in America and it has worked.

Getting back to the Sessions story, it is a great example of how the inner party uses partisanship as a tool. The left-wing crazies hate Trump for no reason other than they were told he is very bad. They hated Bush too. In both cases, there was no real policy dispute at the core of their hatred. They hated Bush because he claimed to be an Evangelical Christian. They hate Trump because reasons. Their rage is just pure partisan hatred of the perceived outsider.

This has the perverse result of turning those outside the Progressive camp into supporters of the thing they hate. Otherwise conservative people fervently supported Bush in the 2004 elections, despite is liberal policies. Something similar is happening with Trump in this election. No one is really going to vote for Trump. They will vote against what they perceive to be the other option, which is street violence, statue toppling and the endless lectures on race from the media.

Regardless, the end of Jeff Sessions marks the end of immigration, nationalism and populism as salient forces in official politics. The 2016 election was called the Flight 93 election, as it was the last desperate chance to save the country. Well, flight 93 crashed and killed everyone onboard. That last desperate dash to save the day failed. The last desperate attempt to save the system in 2016 has also failed. The inner party gained control of the Trump administration and flew it into the ground.

The MSM won’t ask Trump if he is pro or con the effort to empower the NWO anti-Christ Beast; so will some body who can get by all the ZOG guards please ask Trump to explain his position on that issue and what the GOP leadership’s position is.

I agree, Yes Sessions was a strong supporter of anti immigration. IMO, he was senator material, not executive leadership material. When he became AG, he was in charge, he did not lead, he folded like a wet napkin. It was sad to watch, but glad he lost. My daughter went to AU, hope this coach is not a RINO??? Since he is expert at talking (and BS’ing 18 to 23 yo’s and their parent), I will watch his voting record carefully.

Turdeville made a career out of coddling blacks who run fast while Jackass Sessions working as Alabama AG, made his by going after the last few remaining white public schools in the state and forcibly integrating them by bussing in blacks from outside the school district.
Cleary Sessions had no respect for Alabama property owner’s right to run their own school, paid for by their property taxes or the First Amendment which guarantees freedom of association. A pox on the donkey eared cuck. I wouldn’t have voted for him either.

Sessions became just tits on a bull when he handed over the reigns of the most important investigation of the POTUS45 administration to a Mueller cabal bent on destroying Trump and protecting the swamp.. Friends don’t abandon the fox hole when spooks are in the wire.

He should have resigned the moment he recused himself in Russia probe.

He deserves exactly the fate got.

The problem with Trump is that he sold himself as competent. With past presidents you had Bush Jr. the compromising, bumbling, middle-ground halfwit, with Bill Clinton you had the smooth operator who only cared about getting his dick wet and with Obama you had the charismatic, ambiguously gay stoner who could read a speech better than anyone but was clearly focused on his next buzz. Every one of these other guys had a built in excuse for not getting shit done, and not only that, they made few promises, and the ones they made were vague at best. Trump, however, told us exactly what we wanted to hear (as fed to him by Bannon,) and we believed him. Instead of the one lie that sank Bush Sr (“No New Taxes” for you younglings) Trump has failed on every major campaign promise made in 2016, and in fact has accelerated the opposite in most cases. Sure there are the midwit MAGA types who still believe in this Judas Goat, and will continue to believe as he leads them right into the slaughterhouse, but there is visceral anger at this betrayal among many on the right. It wouldn’t surprise me to see record low turnout amongst white voters this year because most have figured out they are getting fucked, and fucked hard no matter for whom they vote.

Things were better for white people under Obama/Biden, so the basis of your argument isn’t all that great to begin with, but 40 years of this kind of thinking with loyalty to our betrayers has gotten conservatives nowhere. Time to get off the plantation, my dude.

Things were better for white people under Obama? WTF? You lived under a barrel then? Dear God. Your TDS has truly blinded you to reality.

Obama set the stage, he hired the actors and put all the right people in positions of power so that the racial shitshow you have before you today was ready-set-go and entrenched when the right kneeling moment happened. He and Holder groomed BLM and their ilk, he feted them in the White House, dissed cops and protected Holder who refused to prosecute ‘his people’ for crimes both serious and mild. He told everyone that a punk like Trayvon could ‘be his son’ and extolled the virtues of trashing the police and trashing ‘white’ people like the not exactly white Zimmerman. Obama was/is a community organizer, essentially he is a professional racist shit stirrer.

He taught black people the proper rioting techniques, sent teams of people into the rioting areas with instructions on how to act in front of the cameras while pretending to be aggrieved, he followed the civil rights CV from the sixties and used that to actually instruct and train the knotheads now taking over democrat shithole cities.

Sharpton was a regular in the White House, race baiting became an art form under Obama and somehow that salient fact escaped your notice? Obama perfected this racist nonsense and we reap the whirlwind that he supported, promoted and sustained.

You must not have read Hovater’s article. As a white person in 2020 America you can no longer defend yourself without the expectation of being prosecuted and jailed. This is under Trump’s watch, not the magic negro. 50 million unemployed and most of the rest living paycheck to paycheck. Nowhere in your diatribe do you explain in what ways white Americans are better off now under Trump than they were 4 years ago. (try again maybe?)

In the weeks and months that the Trump apologists have been defending this clown, I have yet to see a single person write out a list of his 2016 promises kept, what ways the nation is better off. Not long ago people would say “the courts! the judges!” Has that been a victory? Can anyone say with a straight face that the courts and judges are even remotely conservative?

Whether it’s incompetence, laziness, corruption, coercion or some other bullshit reason, the Trump presidency has been an absolute failure to deliver from start to finish. The sooner people like you accept the reality of the situation the sooner we can start work on a solution that will actually work.

younguns – of which you are one, Top Cat. Perhaps you are too young to remember that candidates base their campaign promises on the issues of the day; one candidate fer and one agin, to use your vernacular.

Campaign promises are just that and to insist on them being kept is considered gauche. Maybe it was the no new taxes pledge that sank Bush but at the time, we were convinced that it was Perot who cost Bush the election.

Jon says it well.
“It’s a long night in the White House and a long night in America.

It’s a folded newspaper on a silver tray, and the headline screams: WAR, AND AMERICA IS LOSING.

You’re the president and you read it. You can’t not read it.

It’s 3AM and the moon is sitting in the sky. Lopsided. A blood moon.

The enemy hasn’t just landed on our shore. He’s in every community in the country. He’s inside the inside:

Every mom and pop store, every small and medium business in the nation is signaling frantically to you: WRECKAGE. WRECKAGE. WRECKAGE. WRECKAGE.

Is no one hearing those voices? Is it a silent movie? Just because the traitorous press refuses to cover it?

Mr. Trump, when are you going to fight the enemy? When are you going to declare the real state of emergency?

Millions of people who voted for you are on hold. They’re waiting.

They’re waiting for the cavalry to come over the hill.

You’re paralyzed.

In a state of war with the country fully invaded, with the economic devastation that has been visited on the land…

You’re surrendering to the likes of those two-bit vampires, De Blasio and Cuomo, to that blown-dry idiot, Newsom. The governors and mayors are taking you out.”

“You’re surrendering to the likes of those two-bit vampires, De Blasio and Cuomo, to that blown-dry idiot, Newsom. The governors and mayors are taking you out.”

Oh please, quit with the histrionics and educate yourself as regards states rights vs. federal government.

The president cannot constitutionally issue directives to require states to address certain problems or command governors to administer specific programs

additionally…

This means that it is still up to individual states to craft policies that protect the health and welfare of their citizens during this time of crisis. Some states are working closely with the White House, and others are coordinating their response efforts with neighboring states.

It is up to the states to deal with certain issues, short of declaring martial law, Trump cannot just go in and take over a state government. Do you really want martial law? Do you understand what that means or entails? Sheesh. Education is sorely lacking these days, especially when it comes to states rights vs. the federal government and questions of constitutionality and the powers of the Executive branch.
