Sad Diaper Report

Guest Post by Eric Peters

Today,  a sad Diaper Report.

I’ve been excommunicated from the coffee shop – Sweet Donkey in Roanoke – that I’ve been going to (and spending money at) for the past five years or so, to the tune of several thousand dollars.

Which business the Donk just lost, by telling me the only way I’ll be served inside henceforth is to join the Sickness Cult or at least, pretend to by assuming the uniform – the Face Diaper – of a member.

If not, I must assume the status of second-class citizen – like “coloreds” once upon a time and for similarly arbitrary, vicious reasons.

I will only be served remotely, curbside – by a cultist in a Diaper, of course.

I told the baristas that I won’t be back. Nicely; I know them both and know they are only doing what their boss tells them they must.

Perhaps because she believes she must. To placate the sick in the head; to appease the sick for power (i.e., the government – which is using fear of sickness to increase its power to essentially limitless).

Still, it’s sad.

For me and for them, though maybe they don’t care. I have no way of knowing what they really think. I do know that, on my end, I have lost a familiar hang-out to hysteria. As I have also lost a number of friends, to the same sickness.

But they don’t see it.

They see me – an Undiapered – as both a threat and a reproach.

Threat angst is the DSM definition of mental illness. The sufferer is afraid without reason, like the neurotic who dreads bridges because there might be a troll underneath.

In normal times, such poor people – their fear is real – would be treated gently to the extent reasonable. But unreasonable measures – for example, closing every bridge, establishing a “safety perimeter” around it to keep the trolls at bay – or rather, so as to make the troll-phobe feel less angst about the possible presence  of trolls – would never be accepted.

These days, they’re being imposed.

To make people who’ve been deranged by fear over sickness feel better. It doesn’t matter that the measures are unreasonable, degrading and most of all, unnecessary. People aren’t dying – outside of nursing homes – and that dirty bandana around your face isn’t doing anything palliative. It is obedience theater, nothing more.

Such rational considerations do not assuage the neurotic. The inability to understand rational considerations defines the neurotic – who doesn’t see that it’s himself who is sick.

If he did see it – as some neurotics, like the comedian Howie Mandel do – he would not insist others pantomime his bizarre repertoire, as by endlessly washing hands, steering clear of all human contact and wearing a Face Diaper.

Howie knows he’s sick. It makes him a lot less sick than the people we’re now confronted with all around us.

The Diaper Decreers either don’t know they are sick – or do, in which case it’s even sicker since they’re willing participants in the PTSD’ing of America; the propagation of pervasive fear, whose flip side is obedience. The object seems to be to terrify people – and to shame the people who aren’t terrified.

To make them play along using threats of systematic excommunication from . . . everything.

Which brings up the dark other side of this neurotic necrosis… the desire to make the Undiapered suffer. I must Diaper – or feel I must – isn’t sufficient. Everyone must Diaper.

It’s awful.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re actually sick. One must pretend – play kabuki – or leave.

It also doesn’t matter, apparently, that I was just about the only Donk customer who showed up practically every day during the weeks of the totalitarian “lockdown,” when no one other than “essential” people – the people with power to declare themselves such – were allowed – loathsome verbiage – to be anywhere other than at home.

Some of you will recall my daily Corona Reports – all filed from the parking lot of the Donk, where I was often the only person there other than the baristas. I made it a point to go there – and spend extra money there. Not that my $10 or so was going to keep the Donk’s doors open – but rather in the hope that by showing up in defiance of the decrees of the Gesundheitsfuhrers, others might and – together – we’d keep the doors open.

I was willing to risk going to jail for the Donk – for the principle that I have a right to get a cup of coffee and they have the right to serve it to me, if we’re both agreeable. I was – and am – on their side.

It is heartbreaking to discover they aren’t on mine. All I wanted today was an another cup of coffee. Without having to play kabuki.

Kabuki is now mandatory – the Donk’s policy.

Whether it’s because they really believe – and fear – or have given in to the pressure – it amounts to the  same thing. I could, I suppose, have threatened to sic a Better Call Saul on the Donk – over ADA “violations.”

Not my style – because I’m not a thug. Unlike the Diaperers, who are. Because they’re not content to just Diaper themselves. All must Diaper – so as to give the impression that Diapering is essential as well as virtuous and those who don’t, well…

So I’ll be filing my next report from another venue – which will get the business the Donk just lost.

And – just maybe – I’ll make some new friends, too.

Face diapers are political correctness gone amok. For some it’s virtue signaling by those with no virtue. For others it’s a status symbol. And those who wear it outside or in their own car alone, they are advertising their low IQ or their level of fear.

I choose to avoid all of the above sick neurotic individuals.

I just cannot rationalize the irrational behavior. You conceding to this bullshit ‘order’ is just consent for the next even more ridiculous ‘order’. History is full of awful shit done by people ‘just following orders’. There is nothing to lose by dis-obeying this because you must know that the future of you, your family, and unborn family will be absolute shit if you let these cunning psychopaths have their way.

I took a 4 hour class at the range today. The front door had a big sign about wearing a mask. I could see into to showroom before I entered. It was busy and everyone had on a mask. I simply walked in without the mask. No problems. Went to the classroom and everyone had on the mask. After introducing myself and conversing for a short while, everyone else took their masks off.

This shit is bizzaro.

It starts with one, nice job leading them.

Thank you SS.

I went into a building today for work. Mask sign. Person at desk said “you got to wear a mask”. I said, “I have a health condition”. No problem.

There was an older woman in the same area (front desk) without the mask cause she has a health condition also.

Austrian Peter

My experience here in UK exactly the same – I have a mental condition!

Glock-N-Load

I doubt it’s you with the mental condition. Lol

Austrian Peter

Well, they jump back very quickly when I squint sideways at them with a lolling tongue! 🙂

Austrian Peter

Here’s another way to look at it, Eric. The people at the coffee shop aren’t your enemies. Just some poor fucker trying to hold on to his business in extremely trying times. And employees trying to hold on to their jobs. I don’t wear a mask anywhere. Unless I’m asked. And at that point I have a nice Crip bandana in my pocket and I put it on. Out of respect for the people whose businesses I frequent. They don’t want any part of this. But they don’t want to lose everything they’ve spent their life building either.

ILuvCO2
ILuvCO2

You are asked everywhere to wear a diaper now, either by the state or corporate state.. I don’t wear a mask anywhere. PERIOD. You are giving up. Just walk in and tell them to call the cops if they don’t like it. Better yet, tell them you have a respiratory condition and cannot wear one. They will let you in because they fear a HIPPA or ADA based lawsuit. A state mandate from a health worker freak is NOT binding. When in an establishment now, when I see a brave soul not wearing a mask I approach them and thank them for not wearing a mask, This is such bullshit.

starfcker
starfcker

No, I’m not giving up at all. I’m simply not going to cause problems for the businesses that I frequent, because of the respect I have for the people that run them. It’s not life and death. And I’m not going to turn it into that. This will be over at some point. and I want to get to that point with as little hassle for me or damage to anyone else that I can. I don’t walk through life angry. And I don’t personalize little bullshit. I’m not happy about any of this. But I don’t control it, and it is what it is. but I doubt it’s going to last very much longer

ILuvCO2
ILuvCO2

I honestly don’t think the workers give a hot damn if anyone does not wear a mask.

starfcker
starfcker

You’d probably be wrong. I know two guys who have been fined by the city of Hollywood for not putting markers on the ground for how far apart their customers must stand. These little businesses are under a lot of pressure from the local Gestapo. Respect that. Don’t become a headache for them. They didn’t start this.

starfcker
starfcker

I eat lunch in restaurants every day. The requirement here is you have to wear a bandana as you walk in, and sit down. Then you can remove it and enjoy your lunch. It’s literally 10 seconds. Lots of times I’m still fidgeting with it as I sit down and take it off. And I never put it on the way out. It’s madness. But I’m glad the restaurants are back open again for my convenience, and I like the people at the places that I eat, they take great care of me and my staff. It’s bullshit, for sure. But it’s not the stand where I’m going to plant my flag.

Star,

You sound more and more like a big government apologist. Did you see the gym owner in NJ kick his business door down after the government shut it down for Covid? That’s balls. We need much more of it.

They’re taking away people’s livelihoods.

starfcker
starfcker

And if you caused some little business owner to get fined you’re taking away his livelihood. I’m watching out for those guys, has nothing to do with apologizing for government. We don’t do masks at my place. We haven’t had any enforcement action so far. Be kind to your fellow citizens who are suffering through this. Even if they’re open they might not be making much money.

Austrian Peter

I honestly think you are right – in my daily experience anyway.

I like that idea: “I have a respiratory condition. I can’t wear a mask.” “Oh yeah, what is it?”
“It’s called SARS-Cov2.” “Oh, OK – well you’re fine, then.”

On Thursday last at the Burlington, WA Costco I carried my mask through the door while the entrance monitor was attending some other person. I spent a half-hour shopping sans mask and not a soul gave me a second look. I went through checkout as well without being bothered. No one that I came across in that store was not wearing a mask, yet as far as I was aware and I was anticipating some attention not a soul even gave me an odd look.

For awhile there at Costco shoppers were required to cue up with “cleaned” carts and wait until someone left the store as there was a limit to the numbers allowed in at one time. These days no limit, no “cleaned carts,” but still the monitor at gate. I think that being an hour and a half north of Seattle has something to with all this. Lotta people in Washington are pissed at the governor and maybe thirty candidates for governor are running now. I see Camano Island this last weekend had a gun show at the Grange. The Fourth of July around here was freaking incredible for the amount of fireworks going off in every direction for hours and hours. Lots more than usual! The unquiet before the storm?

I want a mask that doubles as a yarmulke so I can be either Sado or Masochistic.

I see your point and agree. Though I wonder if places like that are just CYA.
If everyone is diapered up, no one can claim they caught the flu there, and
sue them.

I only patronize a half a dozen businesses through the front door, like the Post Office, the local farm store and the auto parts place. Everywhere else I go is through the back door, like restaurants, the grocery, the baker, etc. for the wastes. No one ever seems to notice me and when people do make eye contact- very infrequently these days- I make a point to give them a very genuine smile and that seems to disarm them. So far I have managed to go without a mask since this started and not once has anyone given me any trouble.

There is a way to exist without conforming to the expectations of others as long as you listen ardently to the sound of your own conscience, the imprimatur of the Creator. Be of this world, but not in it.

Romans 12:2

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Eric peters has become one of my favorite commentators during this period because of his steadfast commitment to live by his own principles. The Donk has lost a valuable patron.

I designed and built my very own answer to the mandatory face diapers…
If you wish to see details look at my FarceBook post from 16JUL20. I do hope you enjoy it…I am currently in the FarceBook jail house for 30 days for daring to post a link to sixty peer reviewed studies of the effectiveness of HCQ…(They really hate HCQ)
Here is my new and improved:

I am old. I have had heart issues and have had surgery for it. I have type A blood. Blood pressure is high too. There is no vaccine for the Covid 19 WuFlu. There is no vaccine for the other Corona viruses. The Covid WuFlu is contracted mostly from airborne virus particles. No one knows how much virus load is necessary to kill you. Information to the public is not accurate and does not differentiate between the Covid 19 corona virus and the other 8 or 9 types of corona viruses. The information regarding whom will contract the Covid WuFlu and under which specific conditions it is more likely to occur seems to change from day to day. Utterly unreliable!
As usual, those that want to continue to live are grasping at whatever seems like a good idea to avoid falling victim to the Covid WuFlu. IF you get this Covid 19 virus, you will be lucky to live through it if you are in my ‘group.’

Not everyone that is contagious displays symptoms and those who do not use a mask yet carry the virus can spread this easily to others in their presence. Just the existence of the virus in the public sector has easily jumped any barriers intended to halt it’s advance into elder care facilities (from which ALL visitors have been banned). The result is a wholesale die-off of huge percentages of those residents of elder and nursing care facilities. Mass graves are used due to overwhelming deaths.
Reading what those in disagreement with masking in public write here to disparage the idea and practice of wearing a mask while this Covid 19 threat is easily running rampant almost everywhere is frustrating. All they have to offer is for everyone to “take a chance” on becoming a victim. Just so THEY can continue to walk around without a mask and without being ordered to wear one. If you contract this Covid WuFlu you better have good insurance and you may be stuck on a respirator or sacrificing what’s left of your health for the rest of your shortened life.

Trying to shame or humiliate those choosing to mask is a very low blow. It is a perfect example of the bullying by those addicted to the “normalcy bias.” Wishing and hoping are for children. Not for deadly virus avoidance.
Pretending to know what is best for everyone and “winging it” with no factual information to support it just won’t cut it anymore.

I had to go to the bank today and they now have the diaper mandate, I had one and wore it on my chin along with the don’t fuck with me scowl on my face, no one fucked with me and that included the ex army security guard.

I then proceeded to get a haircut at two shops that don’t have the diaper mandate roughly 20 minutes and five shops that have the diaper mandate away. I will not do business with them if possible.

On my drive over, I saw a fucker with a face diaper waiting for the bus, a lady on a riding lawn mower wearing a fucking diaper. Everyone is wearing diapers, sick mother fucking sheep.

I got a great haircut and a old style straight blade shave and the best part, no diaper required.

Ed. C,

When did it become everyone’s responsibility to take care of other people? Do you care about the young? Do you care that there are many many victims of this farce that will NOT be harmed by the Covid?

Don’t you care about other people?

ILuvCO2
ILuvCO2

It’s hardly deadly except to folks who would die of any tame virus anyway. So stop living in fear and stand up for freedom. It’s a slippery slope, and masks put you down the first run.

Austrian Peter

I am sorry to hear that Ed.C as I too am old and have issues. I believe that we, the vulnerable, should be protected by sheltering in place, wearing all necessary protective clothing etc and generally being kept away from the bulk of the healthy population who should be allowed to carry on their lives in a normal fashion.

IMHO – It is normal to quarantine the sick NOT the healthy. They have it backwards. So how can they be so stupid and massively kill the economies of the world? They have an agenda – it’s the only explanation – it will appear in due course.

In the meantime, stay safe and good luck 🙂

For the love of Pete, Ed, the reason you are in the shape you are in is very likely because your diet is the SAD. As for now your immune system is shot. Who ya gonna blame? Start watching Dr. Berg videos on YT and for protection take Vitamin D, C, Mg, Se, Zn, and chaga mushroom. Good luck to you!

Austrian Peter

Great stuff Eric, thank you and I too have a favourite ‘Donk’ here in UK. It’s my local pub, and it is so well organised by being back to normal when it opened once more a few weeks ago. I am pleased to report that the owner is a very sensible man and has been rewarded by having his trade, not only back to normal, but some days exceeding it. I am writing about my ‘face diaper’ experience this week.
