I passed the National Zoo today and noticed the lion statues, located at the front entrance, looked very different. After driving all the way to K St. NW, I decided to turn around and take a photo. SMH
Years ago, the DC government bought and installed many many colorful animal statues, throughout the city, that are about 6 feet tall. Many of them have masks on also.
E-Books are the work of the devil
It depends – but in the Anglo-American world the lion often represents the Sun – or rather ‘Sol Invictus’ the Sun King, also known as ‘Helios’, also known as the Egyptian God ‘Ra’, and other names too.
Sometimes the Lion is used to ‘hide’ a reference to Lucifer.
The British use the Lion symbol a lot – indeed it used to be the mark of the global British currency the ‘Pound Sterling’ – .925 Sterling Silver with the ‘hallmark’ of a ‘lion rampant’ or a ‘lion passant’.
The Lion is used in movies to represent the ‘Sun God’ – indeed the movie ‘The Lion King’ was about the ‘Sun God’ – but many Christians got it backwards and thought it about Jesus – the ‘Son of God’. It was very sad to see so many Christians flock to see it and make such a massive mistake as the symbolism was clear – Lion = Sun God or ‘Helios’ not the ‘Son of God’.
‘They’ did it previously in the movie ‘The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe’, which was also deeply Occult – but even though witchcraft, portals to other dimensions, and a Helios type figure the Lion (‘king’) were clear, people just didnt get it.
‘Leo’ is often used too – and Leo symbolism can be found in many places, cropping in logos and the famous MGM opening sequence.
Lion symbolism goes on and on – it ‘depends’ on the context and location – and which group (ie Masons, Heliophants, Satanists, etc) use it.
