In the academic realm of NJ political fuster-cluckery, the NJEA decided to lodge a complaint about “school safety” in the state and our wonderful Governor – who gets a donation from said useless union – decided to rescind his ruling for “in person” school instruction around 1500hrs today. Just two hours earlier I’d signed a 10-month Teamster contract expecting things would improve.
Wag the dog, anyone? It’s for the kids, obviously!
School is slated to open in my township on September 8. We were supposed to have “in person” instruction, but now that the worthless teachers union pissed their panties that’s in doubt. They’ve had nearly a six month vacation at taxpayer expense through government mandated lockdowns that crushed working parents.
God, I despise progs and democrats. It’s time the unions were crushed and these idiots sent home if they refuse to do their jobs.
Vouchers would do wonders for the education system in America. Currently, the school teacher unions are in control and as long as they can raise a few million a year for political donations, they will keep vouchers out of the hands of the public.
Parents who opt for home schooling should have their property taxes reduced to $0
My kids went to a Christian school although my daughter convinced me to try government school for HS. I had to pay tuition plus school taxes just to get my kids a decent education.
I oppose vouchers because they maintain the current violence-based funding mechanism, along with all the strings that will inevitably come with “government money” as the liberals refer to it.
That being said, I absolutely support cutting taxes in any form for any reason.
The state says:

That’s why you have to seize children at a very young age and indoctrinate them in your day prisons for 12-13 years. Once you control the definition of “free,” even the “free-range” slavery we currently toil under will be seen as free.
