One of the stranger parts of the summer of left-wing violence is that no one has bothered to think too much about why the people are rioting. Sure, the official Left says it is an organic uprising over something or other. The official Right says these people are communists doing communisms. That’s the same old tired sloganeering we hear from the political class all the time. Neither claim gets to the question of why these people are out in the streets every night in certain cities.
Initially, the Black Lives Matter stuff was just the semi-organized Democratic Party street activism we have come to expect before an election. BLM was organized by the Obama administration on the college campuses. Then it bled into the legacy racial grievance rackets. The statue toppling after George Floyd overdosed in police custody was mostly paid for by the party trying to whip up black support. Then it gave way to the anarchy we are seeing in places like Seattle and Portland.
That’s an aspect that gets very little attention. The violence we are seeing is in mostly white cities by mostly white people. Minneapolis is 19% black. Seattle is 7% black and Portland is 6% black. Kenosha is 10% black and close to 80% white! Note that super-black cities like Baltimore, St. Louis and Detroit have had no riots. Los Angeles, which just had a police shooting, could not get a decent riot going. They tried, but they lack the white kids with back packs needed to do it.
The truth behind these riots is that they have nothing to do with local issues or legitimate grievances. They are simply a happening that is drawing in the disaffected white youth that provides bodies for Antifa. Get up close to an Antifa crowd and what is striking is how unimpressive they are individually. The males are skinny and awkward, while the females are loud and ridiculous. These are young whites who have no place in the neo-liberal order, so they end up in Antifa.
What being in the anarchist underground gives them is the same thing you see in other types of anti-social subcultures. They get a sense of purpose, but also a community in which they have a clearly understood place. They go out and protests or riot with their mates and then have that to bond over afterward. It is not all that different from the hooliganism you see around European soccer. The difference is the Antifa kids come from the middle-class, rather than the working class.
Now, calling them kids is not entirely accurate. The guy who murdered the Trump fan in Portland is a middle-aged man. Still, he is a good example of a larger phenomenon that is fueling anarchism and also fueled the alt-right to some degree. This is a guy who has no place to go in life. There’s no role for a low-normal intelligence white guy with a taste for action. He’s probably too dumb for the military and there is no working-class community for him, so he drifted into anarchism.
The cities that are experiencing the anarchist unrest should be models for the modern liberal democratic order. They have very low crime. They are prosperous, bourgeois urban areas based on the new economy. The young people have access to college and jobs, while living in carefully curated hipster areas. Portland is what east coast cities aspire to, in terms of demographics and urban renewal. The whole point of gentrification has been to look more like Seattle than The Bronx.
The problem is these cities are entirely synthetic. Walk around hipster parts of these model cities and they seem very nice, but they also feel like the suburban town centers developers create for their housing developments. You can’t put your finger on it, but something is missing. Granted, visitors can’t truly judge these things, but the constant civil unrest by the younger people suggests they are not happy with the paradise in the wilderness either. Progressive Whitopia is not working.
Related is the flight out of places like San Francisco and New York. The plague is being blamed for it. The man-made panic shutting down these cities is forcing people to find greener pastures. Note, however, that the people who flocked to these urban oases for the culture, lifestyle and urban living are unwilling to fight for it. Instead of taking to the streets demanding more from their mayors, they are just packing the Subaru and heading for the suburbs. It was all fake and temporary for them.
What we may be seeing this summer has nothing to do with the tired clichés from the worn-out political establishment. Instead it is one of the consequences of trying to turn America into a Potemkin village. Replacing social capital with likes on social media and pointless employment in the new economy is not working. The generation that created it is committing suicide at record numbers. The generation that is faced with living it would rather watch it all burn than participate in it.
A truth of the human condition is men need purpose and fraternity. Maybe it is the military and family life. Maybe it is a frat at college and then a career. Maybe it is the job site and the local pub. Women need community and companionship. The nuclear family was created for them. The liberal democratic world order does none of these things for people. Living atomized, pointless lives among constantly shifting groups of strangers is a recipe for disaster, not paradise.
What’s now happening on the Left is a reflection of what has been happening in the white working and middle-classes. Progressive politicians cheer it on, because at some level, they wish they could be in the streets too. The mayor of Portland is living a pointless existence and he knows it. The difference is these anarchists get to express their unhappiness outside. Working class whites are ignored and the white middle class is threatened into remaining quiet.

Why are they rioting ? Because they are Leftist indoctrinated immature turds that have shit for brains and ZERO critical thinking skills . They are the time out/everyone gets a trophy generation . A few ass whippings would have help most of them .

Human beings are first and foremost a species of mammal. I don’t mean any disrespect to our more religious posters, but if you are in denial of this biological fact then there is no way you are ever going to understand human behavior and discover why people act the way that they do.
We are hardwired by our Creator, Nature, evolution- whichever belief system you choose to believe in- to fulfill a specific destiny. Just as a cat or a dog expresses itself in specific ways so to does our own genus.
#1 Human beings are a social animal. They require the support, nurture, acceptance and embrace of other human beings from their birth until their passing and while there exist outliers- mountain men in the 18th and 19th century, hermits or castaways- the vast majority of mankind lives out his destiny in the companionship of others. This is primarily built around the nuclear family, Mother, Father, sisters and brothers extending outward through bloodlines and followed closely by local community, clans, tribes, neighbors, friends, schoolmates, co-workers, brothers in arms, etc. The values we embrace during our lives are not, nor have they ever been self-created, but rather passed on by these members of each community, culture or nation.
In the absence of these fundamental connections- in the case of refugees, orphans, prisoners, outcasts, etc. there are always associated pathological behaviors that develop and often plague the person throughout their life. Alienation, depression, self-harm, criminal behavior, drug and alcohol abuse, and an attraction to fringe sub-cultures and cults in order to replace the bonds that have been broken or do not exist. The most severe cases are those that arise from a disruption in our closest bonds; absent fathers, separation from extended family, geographic isolation. The importance of social inclusion and a solid family foundation cannot be underestimated in the prevalence of social and psychological disorders we are currently experiencing.
#2 Human beings were designed for work. Our hands with their opposable thumbs and our fragile bodies devoid of fangs, claws, poison glands, quills, shells, etc. leave us vulnerable throughout our lives but for our ability to create and use tools in order protect ourselves. Our hands create the things we do not have to defend ourselves from predation, or the elements; housing, weapons, fire, clothing. Idle hands, it has been said, are the Devil’s workshop.
#3 When you divorce an animal from its natural environment and inclinations you create an environment where the destiny asserts itself despite the malformation of its ideal conditions. A young man with no family will join a gang, his surrogate family. A woman who has been cast out will make her own tribe by having children. A European descended child told throughout his lifetime that his race is inherently evil will be drawn to those that are promoted as noble, etc. All of the forms and signs of his origins may be absent or sublimated, but his need for inclusion and the symbols of tribal affiliation will not abate. This explains the sudden rise in tattoos, body modifications etc which are merely age old cultural traditions of other races. A person who cannot find pride in his own race will still seek it in the outward projection of acceptable standards, hence the Rachel Dolezals, Jessica Krugs, Shaun Kings, etc.
#4 The mating and reproductive energies of youth are perhaps the single most powerful drives in our species. As feminism supplanted traditional Western values of family formation- one man/one woman and their children- women were free to be promiscuous and their choices- no different than the male of the species- is focused on the most desirable examples of the opposite sex, the alphas and chads, rather than on settling for a lifetime match with a stable and loyal provider of less than godlike appearance. This accounts for the fact that 5% of American males have access to 75% of American females while the balance must accept whatever remainder exists. As the feminist/multicultural/corporate globo-homo experiment promoted no-strings attached sex, delay of family formation, birth control and abortion, adherence and transmission of family/tribal/clan/race loyalties to competing groups the percentage of the population that were removed from their traditional connections increased exponentially creating huge numbers of emotionally broken, historically disconnected, and alienated from their destiny and purpose.
#5 The result of these multiple layers of thwarted destinies was not the suppression of our hardwired instincts, but a pathological expression of our purpose. If one cannot create due to intelligence, lack of training, poor education, or absent praise during development, it doesn’t mean that the hands won’t seek to do something. destruction becomes its own purpose. If someone has no paternal influence during their lifetime, they will seek one out and replace him with an authoritarian father figure, Big Brother, The State, Stalin, etc. If one has no connection to extended family and its history, they will seek to replace it with the traditions of Antifa or the Crips. If there is no mate available because one is socially awkward from spending their formative years in the dark focused on a screen and all the females are involved with a string of high value sexual partners, they will find another way to attract their attention. If you think that these soy-boys dressed up in black riot gear, wearing helmets and carrying shields into street combat is political rather than a display of sexual value, you don’t know much about young men.
Everything we are seeing is easily understood in the context of human behavior. This isn’t an aberration, it is by design. The past 50 years plus in the US is a cake recipe, specifically designed to alienate the population, divorce it from its past, render it helpless and frustrated in order to conquer it from within. Every one of the tools used to achieve these ends, from women’s liberation and birth control- ironically a form of enslavement diabolical in nature- to the current policies of race guilt and the destruction of our history has been deliberate and intentional. No other outcome could be possible taking into account the need for each species to behave as they were designed.

Been considering the targets of the rioters, the buildings, Government buildings, Portland’s fed court house, on some level they are lashing out at a system that no longer serves there interests and they want them out. Don’t we all ? Not making excuses, just an observation.

were disenfranchised big time. I am part of the two suitcase
immigrant post WWII crowd. Could not speak any English.
Taught myself to read, hated the stupid school, and wasted time.
Then off to college (missing prerequisites on probation) which I
paid for myself. Against all odds. Bully for me. Big deal.
Yet. I firmly understood that I was responsible for myself and
acted accordingly. I was determined to be a winner, not a
lowlife loser. BTW, 1/2 my senior class HS died of overdoses or
ended up in prison. The city was carpet bombed with drugs none
of us had ever heard of. Government sponsored. Violence is
sponsored now. Ever heard the question: “What if they threw a
war but no one showed up?”
