As I was watching the 12 minute video, I was thinking it was an apt allegory for Democratic Socialism. But now I’m thinking the parable gives an entirely new meaning to the term “The White House”.
In any event, it was quite clear in the story that Mr. Smith was the politician; and the poor dude tied to the whipping post at the end, was Julian Assange.
