I’m not buying the market cap argument.
The claim is 3 times greater then it should be.
This doesn’t take into account how much of the stock market is owned by the top 10%.
The top 10 % are not going to sell over time. They are not about more consumption but capital preservation.
That is why they live in the sa.e size house as many in the bottom 90% do. Yet, the price of the home can be as much as 10 times greater.
The truth is….NOTHING IS OWNED BY US…NOTHING…. that is rule number one…until that changes.

Greed is one thing and asset protection is another. Call me crazy, but I’m long stocks, real estate, Bitcoin, gold, silver, miners, ammo, and toilet paper, etc. Or are inflation and threats to life going away soon? The alternative is cash? Not so good either. Then there is the “when to sell” decision, and for what? Gold? Somehow I doubt I could buy a couple dozen eggs with a gold coin and get change. Silver? Yeah, well $100k of silver right now weighs 250lbs. If you had to go through customs with your life’s savings . . . Gold they would confiscate, same as cash.

I moved out of the big city (Seattle) five years ago and had only some idea then what was ahead. Now even an hour and half north of the city people are bidding up property like crazy. Little burgs are seeing developers building, building, building. What the hell are 90-space apartment buildings going up in these towns all about? Evidently, anything is better looking than big city living where riots are encouraged by the felons in gov’t voted in by cretins.
