Just Walk Away

Guest Post by The Zman

If you are over the age of forty, you have been hearing, in one form or another, the argument that you must vote Republican to keep the Left from turning America into a socialist country. The pitch gets punched up with promises on certain issues, depending upon the audience, but the basic argument has never changed. The reason to vote for the Republicans is to prevent the Left from doing socialisms. About half the time, this is enough to win elections and keep the parties equal.

It is hard to pinpoint when this argument became the standard pitch for conservatives and the GOP, but the 1990’s is a good guess. After 12 years of Republican presidents, the degenerate Bill Clinton took the helm promising all sorts of Great Society style programs, like socialized medicine. Newt Gingrich responded with the Contract with America and the GOP took the House for the first time in generations. The reason is people wanted to stop those socialisms!

In fairness, from the perspective of the standard issue conservative, the Clinton years were a golden age. Clinton started no pointless wars of choice on behalf of unnamed people working for an unnamed country. Inflation adjusted per capita spending was flat for the first time in forever. The deficit declined and there were a few years in which there was a budget surplus. Clinton even signed off on welfare reform, a long-standing conservative goal going back to the 1960’s.

Then the conservatives told everyone that Bush was a slightly retarded Reagan, who would usher in a new conservative resolution. In the Bush years the Republicans had the House, Senate and White House. Spending skyrocketed, we got two pointless wars of choice on behalf of unnamed people working for an unnamed country and they added the foundations of a police state for good measure. From the perspective of the standard issue conservative, Bush was a disaster.

In 2006 and 2008, many sensible white people did the sensible thing and walked away from the Republicans. In 2006 and 2008, the Democrats had huge electoral victories, winning the House, Senate and White House. People forget that they had veto and filibuster proof majorities in both chambers in 2008. Again, we heard the cry from Republicans that the only way to stop the bogeyman from putting socialisms on you was to vote for them so they could stop the socialisms.

Sometimes the worst thing that can happen is you get what you want. This has been the case with both standard issue conservatives and the GOP. That old pitch about voting Republican worked and it kept working, but in the process, it hollowed out both conservatism and the Republican Party. They went from being a movement with a laundry list of reforms and goals to being a collection of mediocrities at the railyard yelling “stop” for some reason.

There are a many useful lessons for dissidents in the Trump era, but one of them is that the Republican Party is no longer a plausible agent of change. They have become a negative identity, that publicly opposes whatever their good friends in the other party are pitching at the moment, but privately despises the people they represent. Thirty years ago, the call to vote Republican to stop the rollback of the Reagan years was possibly sincere, but since then it has become just another grift.

In the comments of these stories at Breitbart, we are seeing regular people wake up and begin to look forward, rather than backward. That old plea to stick with the Republicans because socialism seems to be failing. After all, they ask, if the vote will be stolen and the Republicans do nothing, what is the point of voting? What is the point of the Republican Party if they cannot be bothered to defend the very system that allows them to exist as a political party?

Republicans and Conservatives have no answer for these questions. It is why they are carrying on as if concerns about election fraud are wild conspiracy theories. Their instinct is always to repeat what the Left is saying when they are in a jam. That alone should be enough to cause people to walk away from the party, but that is not always easy to notice. Conservatives have been conditioned for generations to embrace Progressive morality, so they don’t notice it.

Regardless, the only way forward is for people to abandon the GOP entirely and let them sink into obscurity. Georgia will be the big test. The comments on conservative sites like Breitbart suggest something has snapped. These people did everything they were told, and victory was stolen from them. Now they see the party that claims to represent them defending the theft. The 2020 election may have broken the civic nationalist spell, leading to a break with the GOP.

As risky as it may sound, it is the only way forward within the rules of the current electoral system. Consider it the Flight 93 option or perhaps the denouement to the Flight 93 election. With no other options available within the rules, this is a last effort to preserve the rules by forcing the parties to defend the rules. Otherwise, we are left with John F. Kennedy’s admonition. “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”

I voted yes on Prop 187 in California in 1994 and it passed 87% only to be overturned by the “supreme court”.
That was it for me .

Nonsense, the start of the “socialist” mantra went to the promises of G.H.W Bush and his new world order. Clinton was not a fiscal conservative, Newt Gingrich kept him in line while the Clintons managed to set up their world wide grift. Clinton may not have started any major military incursions but plenty of American young men perished on his watch. G.W Bush continued his father’s goal of the new world order, 911 was a conspiracy of the deepest order with the specific goal of removing American freedom’s. Obama is a different animal all together with an America is racist, communism is the way and control of America on every level. Since G.H.W Bush the destruction of America envisioned by the founders has been in full swing. Why do you think the elites hate Trump so much?

You think the start of the “socialist mantra” started with GHW Bush? 🙂

“Clinton started no pointless wars of choice on behalf of unnamed people working for an unnamed country.” The Serbs in Belgrade who were blown apart by Clinton’s criminal bombing campaign would disagree with this statement.

AND what about Ruby Rudge and the massacre at Waco? That’s all I had to see to know 1984 and the Deep State was real… all under the guise of the “For the people” Democrats and their handmaiden RINOs.

I’ve been a loyal GOP’er my entire life. But I’ve seen them for who they truly are over the last 4 years; establishment swamp-rats that are just as out of touch as the Dem’s. Obviously, they can’t stop socialism, so there’s no reason to stick with them since they dont actually fight for what I care about.

If Trump goes third, party I’ll follow him. Along with 50-75 million others, methinks.

Interesting. Another third Tea-party-like start-up called what, Trumpicans? Would this work and replace the GOP, or just split the GOP and give Dems eternal wins? Still, it would be something to see this play out.

It’s over … it will be slow death by a thousand cuts.
Today is the anniversary of Pearl Harbor. How many people are aware or give a shit?

“If Trump goes third, party I’ll follow him. Along with 50-75 million others, methinks.”

This is funny because it assumes that voting and elections and participation in politics has any influence whatsoever. This is funny because you say you have (finally!!!) figured out the Uniparty scam, and then immediately demonstrate your unshaken belief in voting.

You clearly still have not grasped the nature of what is going on here. Let me help you: political parties and votes are just window dressing designed to trick the slow witted into believing they are not as owned and ruled over as the slaves that built the Egyptian pyramids ever were.

Many of these slaves are just ‘educated’ enough to rationalize their situation, making their mental slavery that much more complete.

If Trump “goes third party” nothing whatsoever will change. Because of the vast swarms of people who still believe they can vote themselves a Savior. They are the people who ensure that nothing can ever change.

I honestly think this discussion is way too late. There haven’t been two parties in this country for years. Surely everyone here sees that nothing really changes for the better, but it’s been steadily moving further left. The political system is but a reflection of the society which has been moving steadily left due to the education system. So we can thank those who involved the federal government in public education. It wasn’t fantastic when education was ran by the states, but it was much better than the communist agenda now being served.

What? You mean to tell me that the left and right are both wings of the same vulture? Are you saying that no matter which side is ‘running things’ that shit will always be worse at the end of the term than when they started?

Well yes. Far more often than not when this is pointed out to a political sports fan the response is……… ‘Well the other team is worse’. So given the choice of a punch to the face or kick in the groin these people believe its a choice.

Yes its all theater. Anyone seeking positions of power over others is with at least a 95% certainty a psychopath/sociopath. This means they especially don’t give a shit about you. They actually get a sense of joy from coming with new ways to make you suffer. So of course these demons have no issue with doing whatever their owners(banks, corporations, etc) have paid them to do. They have no conscience and therefore are not human.

The sad fact is the vast majority of people simply can not comprehend this simple truth or maybe they sort of see it but their programming is so strong they revert back to the ‘I must vote for the lesser of evils’ and thus support their enslavement and the certainty that things will only get even worse.

This guy gets it.

Everything Slick Willy here is saying has been painfully obvious at least since the massacre at Waco.

People who still have not figured this out, or people who cannot find the courage to face it, are part of the problem. They have met the Useful Idiots of the Communist Left, and it is them.

I think people choose to ignore it for a variety of reasons such as:

Ego – inability to admit being wrong because they are so invested in a belief

Materialism – many people place a higher value on things than people(well I can’t totally blame them, some people really are less than worthless)

Go along to get along mentality – if I play ball then I’ll still have a comfortable life with my 401k, socialist security, etc

Just really stupid – don’t need to elaborate here

I’m sure other people here could come up with some better insights but there are a few.

Many of us dissidents have been calling it ZOG for decades. Both parties are run by and for the interests of a certain nosey ethnic group and it’s become rather blatant.

Those of the Nose, eh?

I like to ask people, “How many American citizens are actively working in the French government? The British? The South African?

Isn’t is really strange that ours is brimming with dual citizens, when you stop and think it over?”

Oh, it doesn’t help to ask this, because people are retards who cannot draw a meaningful inference to save themselves from a raging house fire.

But I like to ask it.

Kind of funny to make an exercise in finger pointing towards political parties,
when actually the underlying constituents lost their moral compass in the late 1950’s.

The country is now running on the fumes of remaining morality.

You can find education literature dating back to the start of the 20th century that show a desire to drive out moral considerations from schools.
The political elites want sheep that will mindlessly follow directions, while the money grubbers want economic sheep who mindlessly buy whatever the LATEST THING might be.
If you are going to raise children it requires active mental involvement with the kids, in order to counteract the mindless drivel they are exposed to in public (mis)education and in society – in other words, A Republic, If You Can Keep It.

I’d actually like to do this, but in the time between walking away and getting enough conservative voters to join the movement to make a difference, democrats would take the country so far left that it could not come back. It sounds great. It really does, but none of the sitting republicans would jump with us, none of the serious republican or conservative contenders would jump with us, and the reduction of conservative votes would give the democrats everything. Lose/lose/lose.

Let it all burn down and take the entire republican party with it. Those spineless bastards sold America out. Fuck them. May they live in interesting times and outlive their kids.

Agreed the republicans have been a lesser evil, but handing full control of the federal government to today’s democrats is suicide for the republic.

Trump is more of a populist than he is republican or conservative, but he has played too nice with the establishment the past 4 years.

6 months ago i was a huge advocate of letting the left win so the price of stupidity will be paid. Recently i feel this is what is happening and opposed it. NOw, i am like, good, let it all burn down and teach these pansy assed kids a real fucking lesson. They think words are violence because they have never witnessed violence. They have no work ethic etc. they think we did not build that. They think because we Saved and suffered and went without and our net worth was undeserved from systemic racism. Well, they can fuck off. I hope they pay the huge tuition they brought upon themselves. It may take a few generations but eventually every govt fails even the romans after 800 years. The American Communist will fail too, eventually.
