Lesson Of Trump #1

Guest Post by The Zman

As the military begins the process of installing The Pretender as the figurative leader of the American Empire, it is a good time to take stock of what has happened over the last five years. From the perspective of political psychology, the world all of us inhabit today is a vastly different one from the world of 2015. This includes the dissident right, which has been transformed by the Trump experience. In the before times, politics was all shades of gray, while today it is in black and white.

An obvious example is Conservative Inc. The Obama years were tough for those rackets, as it became clear to many conservative people that these guys cared more about how the Left thought of them than in advancing their issues. Compounding it was the refusal to address the failures of the Bush years. Even so, they really thought they could keep peddling hyper-violent Progressivism to conservatives, as long as they decorated it with pictures of Reagan.

That racket smashed onto the rocks of the Trump experience. Traffic for the old school neocon sites collapsed. The Weekly Standard folded. These people revealed themselves to be a blend of old school confidence men and petulant, nasty liars who hate the people they claim to represent. They still have an audience of chumps unable to smarten up, but otherwise Conservative Inc. has no audience. They exist because the Left thinks they are useful for now.

Further to that point, Libertarian Inc., a subsidiary of Conservative Inc., has also been exposed as a long con. The stripping of our ancient liberties by global enterprise should have been a great cause for libertarians. After all, systematically stripping people of their ability to exist is pretty much what libertarians claim to oppose, but the major organs were silent. A combination of graft and perfidy kept them focused on echoing Progressive talking points about the evil Donald Trump.

This has revealed something else. The dissident right is not ready to be the Dissident Right, despite the growing numbers. This is a problem that dates to the 1980’s when Conservative Inc. started to purge dissenters from their ranks. Instead of working to build new structures outside of and opposed to official structures, dissidents kept trying to get back inside the official tent. The result has been a ragtag army living on the land outside the walls of the city. It remains so.

Probably the biggest change, one we see evolving in front of our eyes as the military is called in to install The Pretender, is that the parties are a fiction. Until very recent, most dissidents thought the way forward was to work through the two-party system and get “our guys” into office. Again, this dates to the 1980’s. Buchanan tried and failed to unseat the neocon Bush. Perot tried and failed with his third-party to cleanse the land of the neocons. Trump tried and failed to reform the Republican Party.

The reason all these efforts failed is the party system is a fiction. The core of each party holds the same opinions on the important issues. They are bankrolled by the same collection of billionaires and international interests. The parties have tentacles that reach into various camps, but the main body of the system serves the people who bankroll American politics. A politician with close ties to the CCP can maintain his seat because the Chinese are a major backer of both parties.

This is the big change for dissidents. Trump was the last opportunity to keep dissidents engaged in the fiction of democracy. His own perfidy and his treatment by the political class has disabused dissidents of their faith in the system. The people in the streets at the Epiphany Uprising were not there because they still believe in the Republican Party, Donald Trump, or the system itself. They were there, being cheered by tens of millions from home, because dissidents lost their faith in the system.

Further to that, it is finally dawning on dissidents that what motivates the Cloud People is not what motivates the Dirt People. For generations, the Right insisted that the Left is driven by the same logic as everyone else. This was always false, and part of the long con played on the public. This is, in part, why conservatives lost every battle in the culture war. The people on the other side of the barricades, celebrating their victory over us, are not us and they do not think like us.

This is probably the most important lesson of the last five years that is finally sinking into the thick skulls of the dissident right. The Cloud People are not motivated by greed or a lust for power. They have those things. They are motivated by a sense of identity that starts with a hatred of the Dirt People. Their sense of self begins with not being anything like the people over whom they rule. This is why they hated Trump. He was an intruder from the other side injected into their world.

While many are disappointed with the Trump years and Donald Trump the man, the last five years have been a clarifying experience. The anger, emotion, disappointment, frustration, even the violence, are the result of a fog lifting. Five years ago, most people were sure about politics. Now that the fog has lifted, people are looking around and seeing it was always a big lie. The people who perpetrated these lies are on the other side of those barricades, giving the rest of us the finger.

“The people on the other side of the barricades, celebrating their victory over us, are not us and they do not think like us. …. The Cloud People … are motivated by a sense of identity that starts with a hatred of the Dirt People.”

That was one of Trump’s biggest mistakes … thinking that they are like us. He came to drain the swamp. The swamp swallowed him. While disappointed, I don’t hate him for his failings. Mostly, I feel sorry for him.

They are not us. And “they” include family members. My libtard sister; we were raised by the same parents, in the same way, attended the same schools, and came out of the same culture. But, she is not like me, nor I like her. Hate for Dirt People is part and parcel of her life. Our differences seem to be irreconcilable at this point.

Thanks Donald (and folk like ZMan) for opening my eyes.

I have a sister like that also. She dumped her White husband making 6 figures and ran off with a broke ass nigger. I haven’t spoken to her in 10 years. And don’t want to. And we were close when we were young.

Trump is a billionaire who rubbed elbows with the hoi polloi for decades. He has greased palms and traded favors and made deals to build his empire. No way in hell he didn’t know exactly what the Swamp is, he spent his life swimming in it. It is impossible to do business with the NYC Jewish and Italian mafia and stay an innocent virgin.

He was either complicit, or so consumed with narcissism that he overestimated his capabilities. No way was he naive.

Everyone should know their role.
Women are not leaders.
Typically.
That doesn’t mean woman CANNOT lead, they can and do, particularly when pressed into positions where leading/leadership is required and evaluated.
They were not designed or created to lead, per our Creator’s description in the Bible as to the purpose for why God made women, which was as a helpmate for man, and a nuturer of life.
Men were created to lead and head the household through service and by example.
Downvote me all you want, I’m the messenger, go argue with the Bible and God all you want about it.
Somehow, I doubt anyone down here will change God’s mind.

I have 3 grandkids who buy into the socialist bullshit and think everything should be free. But I also have a son who served at least 4 overseas tours in most of the hot spots and made Master Sergeant.
Things have a way of balancing out. I think that’ll happen with politics here. Not to say we won’t encounter lots of flak from their stupid, misguided positions on most topics.
Right now the dems are drunk with power. Their hangover will be coming.

Nope. They will steal just that much more. You watch: cities torn apart and burned will be rebuilt by tax dollars from states where that shit did not happen. Broke state pensions will be brought whole by states that have managed their obligations admirably. But hey, we’re all in this together say the idiots ready to illegally assume power.

Rand Paul always ran around like he was a chip off his daddy’s block, but now everyone knows he is nothing but a lie and a fraud. We always knew Cocaine Mitch was shady, but now imagine what happens to them when people refuse to turn out and vote for NO ONE. I have voted in my last election. It is not unlike the feeling I got when I left my last church 13 years ago, with no intentions to tarnish a door knob on one again.

What we ought to be doing is figuring out how to use the system against these fuckers. And that probably includes a primary for Rand Paul and Lindsey Graham, although my understanding was Graham has a new term. Big target for removal is fucking McConnell. And what about his wife’s connections with China? She’s been in 2 different cabinets, “W” and Trump and her dad is a big boss in the CCP and is CEO and founder of their biggest shipping company. He gave the couple between $5 and $20 million as a “gift” a couple years ago.
Scenario sound familiar?

Not sure if you were paying attention to the part where our votes don’t matter. Getting “our guys” into this system won’t matter. Either they will never win in the first place or the system will block any efforts to reform it (and by the system here I mean people on both sides of the isle, the press/media/the Judiciary, ect. There is nothing about our system that is what it is purported to be. If the last 5 years have shown us anything it’s that every facet of our government, Senate, Congress, Courts, FBI, Governors, Mayors, State and Federal Attorney and everything in between are corrupt from the top down. Oh certainly there are individuals in many of these positions that are not, but they couldn’t or didn’t prevent what happened. The State Legislatures of the battleground states that fell to fraud had every chance to exercise their legal authority and duty to certify or not certify electors either in competition with the ones chosen by fraud or even in the place of said fraud. They were ALL republican legislatures so why did they choke and instead not just do nothing they did worse then nothing. Half measures and hesitation when actual bold action could have made a difference. These people didn’t fail to act on accident they CHOSE not to fight. It was easier, it was likely profitable and it was the corrupt choice to make.
Primary Rand Paul? Get rid of McConnell? You are thinking and living in a different world, a world that honestly hasn’t existed in decades. Most people just didn’t know it was gone.
Trump had failings and the biggest of those was not pulling the trigger on the insurrection act the morning of November 4th. Maybe someone flatly told him his family would die? Who knows why he didn’t, but at this stage why doesn’t matter. At this stage it’s time to realize voting and working with what he have of a system will not fix anything.

Trump is over. He might have been on our side, or he might have been controlled opposition, I neither know nor care. All I know is he asked for the job and we gave it to him. He exhibited dreadful character judgement/ risk assessment, he’s full of himself, and worst of all, he was weak when dealing with brutal enemies. All disqualifying points for future leadership. I don’t hate the man. It’s not personal, it’s business.

When more than anything else we needed a tough talking, nerves of steel leader who didn’t give an inch, Trump was weak. Weakness is fatal. Stop following it. If he starts a new party, don’t join. If he starts a news network, don’t watch. He is narcissistic and possibly in on the entire corrupt mess. He is stigmatized deadwood at this point, let him get consumed. Somebody smarter, tougher, and stronger will arise.

Q is a joke. Anybody following it needs to get their head out of their rump, and if they refuse to, the rest of us need to shun them just as we need to ditch Trump. Q supporters still clinging to baseless hope at this late hour are a liability going forward because they are dangerously naïve and gullible. We cannot afford that. For 4 precious years we were distracted with people saying “its 4D chess” to excuse every single one of Trump’s self-sabotaging, self-serving, or boneheaded moves. Heaven only knows how much ground that lost us. Q supporters: you were duped. Admit it and move on. Q was clearly created to distract and disorient people, and it worked. Hat tip to the malevolent mindbenders who spawned it, you did a bang-up job. You led millions of honest, decent people astray and preyed on their legitimate desire for justice. I hope karma finds you and gives you what you deserve good and hard.

What do we need to do now? We need higher standards and we need to hold people accountable. When Trump called Hillary “good people” he should have gotten REAMED by his base for it. But we put up with it. That set the tone for the next 4 years, and look where it got us. None of these people EVER feels the wrath of those that they betray. We just keep kissing their ass. It’s disgusting and it needs to stop. If we elect someone and they do ANYTHING even remotely Swampy, then they need a full, immediate, visible and loud withdrawal of support. We can do cancel culture too.

We need to dump the GOP en masse. It has done nothing but let us down. Go tomorrow and change your registration to Independent. The argument is always made that if you stay as registered GOP, at least you can primary people. Really? After that debacle of an election we just had, you think that your puny vote is going to get in the way of them putting in a cherished swamper? If you do, then please get in touch, I have Nevada oceanfront property with your name on it just waiting for you.

There are other ways to primary people, like making their lives an obnoxious hell so that they leave of their own volition. Shout their dirt from the rooftops and call out their hypocrisy. Barrage them with phone calls, inundate them with letters. Yell at them if they dare appear in public. Put a sign on your lawn calling them out. Make it known to any business that endorses or donates to them that you are no longer a customer. Badmouth them to everyone you know. STOP. BEING. NICE. Be loud, but peaceful.

Right now conservatives are like a long-suffering schlub with a shamelessly philandering partner. Do you really want to stick around and contract one of the disgusting STDs it’s collected wallowing in filth? It’s a faithless whore, kick it out of your bed. Hang up on them when they call. Don’t donate. Don’t stump for them. Make them a pariah.

We must abandon choosing the lesser of two evils. It hasn’t worked and won’t work. Either it is wholly good, or it isn’t worth our time or effort. Have some pride in your good name and stop putting it on the line for treacherous weasels.

If they no longer have any visible popular support, the big donors that prop up these traitors will ditch them too. Their only purpose is to keep us distracted and lull us into complacency. If their efforts are no longer effective, then no one will bother in investing in them and they will shrivel up and blow away like the empty husks they are. Serves them right, the spineless wretches.

We’d also be wise to reach out to the Bernie Bros and other disenfranchised Dems and try to find common ground. We might not agree on the solutions to our country’s problems, but we all agree on the rotten nature of the system. The enemy of my enemy is my (temporary at least) friend. We have more in common than we think, and we might be able to help them blow up the Dem party as the Republican party has been blown up.

This entire system requires a false right/left dichotomy to work. If we willfully pull the plug on half of it, the entire thing goes. No more illusion of democracy, no more fake freedom. Why wait for them to completely pull up Zappa’s theater curtain? We can do it ourselves, on our terms.

Time to rip off the mask off the hideous face of the zombie monster running the show and let the light shine on it.

I realistically expected one thing from Trump: to slow down, or in the best case temporarily stop the internal descent of the US of A. He delivered on that, in my opinion.

As I had posted in Stucky’s ‘give your parting message’ article (“Going Dark”):

“Societies become carnivorous and pathological in precise proportion to the degree that the individuals who make up that society become deceitful and irresponsible.”

No single person, not even a prez, can stop that.

Long stopped caring what Qanon has to say. At some point it only counts what is done, not what is announced.

If Hitlary would have been prosecuted or even jailed that would have been a largely symbolical act, with no difference to the situation we are in right now. And the last 2 months have shown us that now even higher level courts are on average 70-80% corrupt.
On a side note, the ‘poisoned compliment’ is the most difficult to defend against [“good people”] – if the audience gets it.

It would be appropriate to leave the GOP asap. It would send a huge message if people register as Independents in huge numbers. One can always take a Republican ballot in order to primary the assholes in ’22 if one feels it appropriate. The message we send today is what matters. We would be telling them like Eric Cartman, “Screw you guys, I’m going home.”
I do not favor the idea of “taking over” the GOP as that is at best a partial solution. Staring a new organization lets the Trump Populists and other non RINO, non GOPe people rid themselves of those shitheads and allows with the new name and leadership, something to attract large numbers of Independents and the 15 or 20% of discouraged non-communist Democrats to be part of something new as well. The GOP started as a combination of the Whig remnant and the “Free Land” Democrat faction. We are overdue for such a change today.

I like the original deal where the President was the guy with the most votes and number two became the VP. The fuqueres have made the VP an appendage without any independence and stolen the right of legislatures to choose their Senatorial representatives to the federal government with the 17th amendment. No change has been to promote the democratic part of our democratic republic or improved transparency or grass roots control or power over the government.
