8)- Embed equity across federal policy making and rooting out systemic racism and other barriers to opportunity from federal programs and institutions. This order disbands Trump’s 1776 Commission.
9)- Reverses Trump’s order that excluded undocumented immigrants from the Census.
10)- A memorandum directing officials to “preserve and fortify” the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
11)- Repeals two proclamations, informally known as the “Muslim ban” that restricted entry into the U.S. from majority-Muslim countries. Directs the State Department to immediately restart visa processing for individuals from the affected countries, Directs the agency to develop ways to address the harm caused to those who were prevented from coming to the United States because of the ban.
12)- Revokes Trump’s “harsh and extreme immigration enforcement” and directing agencies to set immigration policies more “in line” with the Biden administration’s “values and priorities.”
13)- A proclamation that will pause the construction of the border wall with Mexico and determine how to best divert those funds elsewhere. Includes an “immediate termination” of the national emergency declaration that allowed the Trump administration to redirect billions of dollars to the wall.
14)- A memorandum to extend a designation allowing Liberians who have been in the United States for a long time to remain.
15)- Directs the government to interpret the Civil Rights Act as prohibiting workplace discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity, in addition to race, color, religion, sex and national origin.
16)- Enact new ethics rules for government officials. The rules will require executive branch appointees to sign an ethics pledge, barring them from acting in their personal interest.
17)- Reverses Trump’s “regulatory process executive orders”.

Some really fine executive orders here. Let’s start with #1, Masks on Federal Property. That means that when I go skiing or hiking in the national forest alone or with my family, I need to wear a mask. That ain’t going to happen.
#15 which deals with discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity is another gem. This one allows men to compete in woman’s sports again. I hope all those Biden voters with girls in school will enjoy watching their kids get their asses kicked by the fake woman in track, rowing, and all the other woman sports.
#5 extends the eviction moratorium and thus sticking it to landlords who still have mortgages and expenses to pay. Buy hey, in a few years the dirt people will not own anything and be happy anyway.
#9 which counts illegals in the census guarantees that California doesn’t lose any seats in Congress.
And for comic effect we have #16 requiring appointees to sign a pledge barring them from acting in their personal interest. I’m sure that will rid our system of all the corruption.
I can’t wait for the next batch of pseudo laws from our wonderful new Administration. I anticipate new order stating 2+2 no longer equals 4 and Democratic shit doesn’t stink.

Stucky, highways are not federal property. Typically the right of way and road belong to the state. The feds only paid for it.
I heard one interpretation saying that interstate truck drivers are included in the mask mandate. That should add to the need to pull a trucker’s strike.
#9 really irks me as the census bureau intentionally did not complete the census data and publish it in 2020 as is required. A poke in the eye of American citizens and a giant boost to blue states that are bleeding people.
My interpretation of the mask order is that I put on a mask if a ranger comes within sight, not otherwise…

This flurry of action by President Manchuria has almost answered one of the bigger questions of the last 5 years. The often pondered Genuine, Dupe or Judas question.
I am a few years shy of 50 now and in my lifetime I can not recall (granted my teens and twenties are a bit of a blur) any new administration acting so swiftly and thoroughly to undo the policies and actions of its predecessor.
To the contrary, while the left and right have argued loudly about a few key issues, policy has always marched straight on towards bigger government, less liberty and more a totalitarian USA.
As an example; Obama didn’t get rid of or lessen the spying on US citizens, he doubled down on it and added drone striking anyone who his people told him needed killing.
Bill Clinton disarmed everyone but MPs on Military Bases. Despite a rash of killings on said bases Bush didn’t do anything to undo that order.
I think it was Jefferson that said if government control changes hands but policies remain the same then you are actually living in a one party system and just don’t know it. That has been the world I grew up in, though since my teenage years I more or less understood this.
Trump was the first president to make me think it could be different,though like many I wondered if he was controlled opposition. The response of the newly installed administration is telling. Never before has so much been done so quickly to undo a President’s legacy.
We may never know for sure the how and why they got to him, or if he just lacked the steel to do what needed to be done. But I don’t think he was in on this from the start. I think he woefully misunderstood the hatred of those he kept out of power in 2016. Maybe if he had managed to keep Flynn and Bannon around they could have opened his eyes to reality in time to have made a difference,or perhaps someone simply told him to stop fighting or his family would be punished.
President Manchuria,the GOP and the establishment as a whole have convinced me with their first actions post Trump that he was at worst a well meaning dupe if not a genuine article that tried and failed to stop a fourth turning already in progress.
There is something to that at least, I can accept failure much easier then betrayal. Dark times are coming, stay strong and true my friends.

He needed to shut down the government for month after month after month starting in 2017 in order extract what he wanted from Ryan and McConnell (beginning with his wall). He didn’t do it, and his chance for a successful presidency ended with his signing the first CR.
