Survival

The game of life is one of survival. I would love to adopt Hardscrabble Farmer’s positive vibes toward mankind, but now is absolutely not the time. The First Official Chinese-American President (FOCAP, pronounced fahk-ahp) will be inaugurated today. With that, this country’s power structure will lovingly embrace everything that is morally repugnant in a fallen world. The crimes against children throughout the globe will not only be condoned but accepted as normal. Exhibit A is the FOCAP’s son, Huntard. But it won’t stop at the most heinous and insidious of abuse. Oh no.

Forcibly Diapering our children who have a 99.997% chance of surviving this silly COVID Cold is also sadistic. 80% of human communication is interpersonal and non-verbal. The childhood most of us had – Cowboys and Indians – will now be a socially distanced dystopia. And please call it Stetson Hat Wearers in Peaceful Collaboration with Native Americans, you filthy white bigot.

Starting today, modern Christians find themselves in an awfully strange paradox. On the one hand, they equate their flaccid ritual of Hug a Marxist with loving thy neighbor. But on the other hand, their very religion will be rendered extinct if they don’t proactively defend it. Yes, extinct, barring Divine Intervention. Quoting Bible verses all day doesn’t secure Free Will and Individualism, the very essence of our God-given rights to life, liberty, and property. Nor does it win any friends among those of us whose American heritage predates the Republic.

I’m tired of the fear and the conformity. So please go tilt at windmills, Don Quixote Christian, if it makes you feel good. Maybe Dulcinea will give you a pleasant reach around as a consolation prize. Just forget you were ever a red-blooded American and forget it quickly so I don’t vomit on your shoes. You’re going to need those shoes to survive for several years where we’re headed. Prostrate yourself in front of the FOCAP, and beg Dick “Dude Looks Like a Lady” Levine for your next vaccine, Comrade.

But if you may be interested in another strategy, track with me on what I intend to do:

  1. Learn as many skills as I can that rebuild the base of Maslow’s Hierarchy.
  2. Arrange more relationships with those who already have the necessary skills to build a better working world. Local law enforcement, farmers, drainage experts, mechanics, etc. are all critical to the future.
  3. Donate the fruits of my labor – apples, vegetables, chickens, and sharecropping plots – to like-minded individuals in my local community. Screw the money I could make. I can’t even wipe my arse with it when it’s digital anyways.
  4. Deny access to my property by the Diapered, unless they’re providing me with something of benefit. Power company employees, deliverymen, and so on are free to pretend it’s Halloween whenever they want, so long as I get something out of the virtue signaling other than a guffaw.
  5. Prohibit a single calorie of my hard work from benefiting a Democrat. I will be implementing a method (classified!) on how I intend to trust but verify who’s truly needy versus who’s a moocher and/or looter.
  6. Shun all federal government employees outside of the military. So, Mr. FBI Agent, you think it’s cute to threaten peaceful conservative protesters? Find a greater fool to feed you. I may be peaceful and unarmed, but I still maintain my human dignity. And you, Mrs. Defense Contractor? Sorry, but those in the business of destruction are the yang to my creative yin. Move along, move along.
  7. Diversify my assets and location by acquiring passports in another country (classified!). With any luck, my family and me will have residences in America and another country within a year.
  8. Last but not least, I intend on praying the rosary every day for God’s forgiveness that I didn’t do enough to protect my children’s future from the evil, violent insanity of Washington.

For those of you who think you need to be violent, think again and learn how to safely operate a chainsaw or cultivate ginseng. Even though the hour is late, look at what I plan on doing. THEY need ME. If enough people like me peacefully but forcefully opt out of their joke of a charade, they don’t eat, they lose tax revenue, and they ultimately lose.

How do they lose?

Kleptocratic tyrants lose when they resort to violence, which is what they always do. It’s all they know how to do. If they had the acumen to create wealth instead of to destroy it, don’t you think they would be? It’s merely a question of how long the tyranny lasts rather than whether or not they lose. No matter to me. I will outlast them and if they crush me, it’s not my soul that suffers the costs of Newton’s Third Law of Motion when I meet the Creator.

Good luck, folks. I’m going dark unless some unforeseen miracle rescues this country from the abyss. I wouldn’t bet on it. My heart tells me the Lord has a pound of flesh to collect from the godless Western heathens.

We are on our own. Develop what you need in your community with others in your community.
Most don’t realize how long and fragile supply chains are until it’s too late and the stuff you REALLY need to survive is gone. That can occur with the snap of your fingers-POOF, you’re up shits creek.
Madness descends, be prepared.

I’m too old to fight or flee. I’ll grow where I’m planted until my expiration date.

I plan on continuing to fight big pharma by supporting RFK and Del Bigtree. I will avoid politics but encourage others to leave the GOP.

None of us can do everything, but all of can do something.

Good starting sources for the uninitiated using modern tech but useless for skills that you’ll need to survive. The best tech in this age of surveillance is the simplest and when that fails theres the garbage can.

Preppers have lots of good information as do older books on gardens, furniture, wood working etc… Many of which can be found at flea markets or second hand stores. None of this is really that difficult but there is some learning to do.

Waiting for an emergency to happen and then trying to prepare is not only foolish, expensive, but dangerous as well. Having a well stocked emergency food supply is easy and not expensive. It just takes buying a couple extra cans or packages of dry goods every time you go shopping. Squirreling the extra in the pantry.

Learn to garden, even balcony gardening is better than nothing. Learn to dry your own produce, its easy and healthier than the factory farmed rubbish pumped thru the stores. Learn to barter and cut off the funding to the government thru taxation.

Upgrade your skills, they are worth more than you know. The relationships you develope in the time ahead will greatly influence your survivability, Christ, family and friends will/should be the back bone upon which all is built as its enduring.

Brian – Most modern woodworking tools require electricity. If you do not have & know how to use good hand tools i.e. handsaw, planes, brace & bits, chisels, etc. it will be difficult to complete your projects when the power goes out. An alternative would be good rechargeable tools with a solar charging system.

My uncle was a cabinet builder and could cut as straight a line with a hand saw as any table saw. He and my Dad taught me a lot about using hand tools and I still have many of them. I have tried to show my grandsons, but they go for the power tools and the easy way out.

Definitely. I used to teach people at a nearby YWAM base that if they go to a country with minimal tech and lower standards of living, that they can not only teach others but make a living by utilizing available materials and tools.

So I’d challenge them. Using only basic tools, hammer, handsaw, brace’n bit etc and using common materials like pallets and shipping crates, to come up with useful items that can be functional, aesthetic and trade building. Just like the days of old in farming or logging, something breaks, fix or manufacture the broken part with available materials. Skills that need to be rediscovered.

The problem with the rechargeable power tools is the number of charge-discharge cycles the batteries have. You’re better off with a very good solar system that allows you to run standard power tools. I have been collecting good hand tools for decades, but have the solar system as well.

Doc – That is one of my goals for the year, to learn more about solar systems and to acquire one that is dependable and will last. Any suggestions?

My biggest concern is the batteries that are constantly being recharged by the system and how long they last.

I recommend Schneider Electric, as they are one of the premier industrial electrical equipment manufacturers, and is the parent of many brands such as Square D. (I have no financial interest in them). I went with the Conext series. I built my system and it will use the solar panels to keep the batteries charged and run household appliances until the sun is shaded by a cloud or it rains (or night time) and then automatically switch to grid power. It will only switch to batteries when there is no sun and the grid goes down.

Get a MPPT battery charge controller as it is the most efficient type. It will not overcharge your battery bank.
I’d recommend going with a higher battery voltage system such as 48Volts or maybe 24Volts. The higher the battery voltage, the lower the current demands which will reduce battery charge/discharge cycles and hence, wear and tear. Although Li chemistries have higher energy storage densities, I believe the additional cost doesn’t justify their use and stick to lead acid. The Rolls Royce of batteries for this would be Nickel – Iron chemistries which will outlive you if taken care of but the cost is in the Rolls Royce category.

Since I live in a very rural area that loses power on a regular basis, and sometimes for a week at a time, I do NOT use a grid tie system. Although you can sell your surplus energy back to the grid with a grid tie, the system will shutdown if the grid goes down. It is very important to me that I not lose power when the grid goes down, but you have to decide on that one for yourself.

I hope you find this helpful.

January 22, 2021 4:27 pm

My suggestion would be to get the critical components sized for the number of Watts you expect to build out to (inverter and charge controller) first. Don’t plan to run all of your appliances at the same time on a solar system. I can run any two large electric appliances as well as lights, etc. at any time on my system. I planned to be able to run the well pump and electric hot water heater. I can also run central A/C and the washing machine at the same time. A little bit of scheduling based on priorities like the fridge and furnace let’s me run the place continuously that way. My system will run 4kW continuously with a 7kW surge (think well pump). Start with a few panels and batteries and then add panels and batteries as time and finances allow.

I sourced much of the hardware as new items on eBay and have been very pleased at the result. I bought the PV panels and batteries locally. The panels were Sharp industrial panels with a 25 year warranty that spent three years on a commercial rooftop. The warranty didn’t carry over, but being used, the price made them very attractive. The batteries are heavy so get them from a local dealer. I would recommend Trojan 6V batteries (again – no financial interests.)

Thanks, again. I, too will probably need 4 kw. I used to drive by a Sharp plant almost daily and they had an acre of panels to run the operation. This will be me trying to explain to my wife why she cannot run everything at once.

Your description of how to prioritize what to run reminds me of Green Acres. Don’t know if you are old enough to remember it.

I remember the series, but not that particular episode. I tended to like Petticoat Junction better.

I highly recommend that your inverter be a pure sine wave source. The modified sine wave inverters are cheaper, but you can have problems specifically with electronics devices.

I’d also recommend that your battery cables be sized as large as you possibly can and have the batteries as close to the inverter as possible. The DC losses in the battery cables is remarkable at the currents required. This is one of the most important areas to focus. Also remember that the battery venting to the outside is also extremely important.

I’m noting going dark…yet…but outside of here (including you) and a circle of local Christian-tribal likeminded friends (most from our small group Bible study) we will communicate on Proton.

One of them sent me this:

Type in http://www.antifa.com on any browser and see where it ends up.

Thought that was wild, but not surprising.

I am long resigned to the coming removal of the Disunited States from the world scene as a superpower to allow the end of the beginning prophecies to unfold…that was never in doubt in my mind…it was just the timing that was. The older you get the more sharp and focused every day becomes.

Best wishes to you, and your family…catch you on the encrypted down low.

You don’t need an expensive bag to block signals to your cellphone. A tin box, like what Christmas cookies come in, will block calls and signals to a cell phone. I keep my phone in one at home so it can’t hear any conversations. All calls go directly to voicemail when the phone is in the metal box, it never rings or receives text messages.

John Brennan is now leading the witch hunt for Trump supporters. He’s listed the enemys of the state and Libertarians had best watch out…He’s letting us know that the same tactics used against those insidious terrorists overseas will now be used against all American ‘insurgents’ who dare to speak out against the illegal regime.

I know… the members of the Biden team who have been nominated or have been appointed are now moving in laser light fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about what looks very similar to insurgency movements we’ve seen overseas. Where they germinate in different parts of the country and they gain strength, and it brings together an unholy alliance frequently of religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians. And unfortunately, I think there has been this momentum that has been generated unfortunately I think of the demagogue of rhetoric of people that’s just departed government but also those who continue in the halls of Congress. So I really do think that the law enforcement, homeland security, intelligence and even the defense officials are doing everything possible to root out what seems to be a very, very serious, and insidious threat to our democracy and our republic.

I daresay he means you

There’s only one way to starve the BEAST!

Just to be clear, the following cesspools of BIG-city depravity are each a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah.

Washington, DC & New York City
Los Angeles & San Francisco & San Jose
Los Angeles & San Diego
Seattle & Portland
Philadelphia & Baltimore
Chicago & Detroit
Atlanta & Charlotte
Austin & Houston
New Orleans & Miami
Minneapolis–Saint Paul & Milwaukee
Denver & Boston

KEY POINT: What are some of the distinguishing features of a Sodom and Gomorrah. Here’s just one egregious and extremely corrosive capital crime spree that’s legally allowed in those sanctuary cities and states: These 19 States Permit Infanticide, Abortionists Let Babies Die Who Survive an Abortion. Remember when the New York City lit up One World Trade Center pink on the very day that INFANTICIDE was legalized in Gotham City.
