The object of this bill will be to identify every person who has a gun. They will be able to revoke a license and confiscate the gun under rules to be created by the Attorney General. Biden swore he would end the NRA. He was not joking.
Like a diverse license, once they create this federal license, they effectively limit the Second Amendment claiming if you obey all their regulations which they can change at any time, then you have that right. But all such rights are eliminated whenever they say so.

In the US you can buy a gun and even carry a firearm for self protection. Shoot a house invader or criminal brandishing a fire arm robbing someone or business. Here in Canukistan and likely Australia there are no provisions for gun rights in our Charter of Freedoms, just as there is no right to own property here in Canukistan.

My advice to anyone is to either grow what you want indoors, if possible (there are legitimate reasons to have a grow closet inside, you know!) or become very good at negotiating prices with local farmers. I also recommend learning the local flora and fauna and seeing what grows in big patches easily harvested during a walk.

[I seriously think I have enough food in storage to last until the Lord comes back or I die, whichever comes first. We didn’t even take a deer this year, either of us, because we have a lot in storage already. We have three big herds which roam around the area. There is a black bear local now… he comes through about this time of year and I expect we are his enroute spot on his way to Arkansas, where he probably spends the cold months before ambling back through in April or May.

The bucket cages really do work and were easy to move around, but they aren’t homeless bunnies any more. They need their own rooms. The “bunny-in-a-bucket” idea was a good gimmick and I did sell a few of them. However, nobody was really ever going to eat their own pet when they got tired of it and I knew it. And once you have a bunny as a pet? You don’t want another one even if you love it. They poop as they eat, where they eat. You can sort of train them to a litter box, but they still poop right where they eat when they are eating.]

The rancher up the road who spotted the bear and my dog on the deer cam and told me about Big Jake’s late night wandering (2 miles!) said he told the game warden about it, showed him pictures of the bear and the game warden would not report it as a bear sighting.

If we ever do see a true refugee situation here in this country, where certain “types” of peoples are forced to move because of government relocation policies over some unfathomable plot element the AuthorandFinisher has not yet revealed, I would probably consider taking on some like-minded citizens to live on the land in exchange for some work. We have an insulated, plumbed barn and a treehouse that just needs a bit of insulation sprayed under the floor and above the ceiling. (We lived in it without insulation; six space heaters for 600 square feet kept it a cozy 60 degrees and cost about $500 per month. A space heater can cost 25 bucks a day if run all day. We left the ones in the bathroom and kitchen on all day to keep the water lines from freezing.)

Ghost – A 40 watt light bulb under the kitchen sink will keep the plumbing from freezing. Learned that a long time ago from my Dad after my washer froze in the garage. You only have to keep the temp at 32 or higher. Of course, finding a 40 watt bulb is the bigger problem. LED’s do not put out nearly as much heat.
Our “treehouse” is a 20×30 house built ten feet off the ground and so the plumbing lines are currently on an outer wall with almost zero insulation. We kept a heater in that corner on low all the time and it still sometimes froze. I would go under the house with a hair dryer to thaw the pipe. LOL.
People in the city wouldn’t last long at all. People out in the country would probably have to shoot first, ask questions later. I know which one I will be.
