By the way? I think JP’s discussion of the Chinese atrocities against humanity and how our President calls it cultural differences is some fine political satire. I think JP is a bit too close to the truth on this one and may end up getting banned on You Tube for such excellent composure during what is obviously very intensely funny.

I don’t fully believe much anymore.
However, I’ve been looking at a lot of stories about what happens when Communists seize power over communities of people who are not ideologically aligned with Communist ideals.
A complete disregard for personal and property rights is pretty much step one.
And, there were some very disturbing types of torture inflicted by some very disturbing people in power.
I included the video about the Chinese treatment of the Ouighur population to suggest that some cultural differences are more violent than other cultural differences.
So what I read from that is
– you do believe the Chinese are still [mostly] Communist, in the original meaning of the word, and
– along the concept of ‘The Big Lie’ there has to be at least some truth in the Uighur fairy tale.
I believe, for comparison, that
– the US is nowadays more communist than the Chinese, and
– that the Uighur BS is as true as Iraqi WMD, Serbian mass-rapes, and Assad using poison gas on his own people. To elicit Biden’s “down-playing of it” as some kind of proof, is just hilarious.
I am less familiar with the Uighur genocide than others. I think the Chinese have adapted a centuries old culture and remade it in the image of Communism.
Having spent several hours watching a number of different stories about genocide, most of the dictators involved (like Idi Amin and Pol Pot) looked to Mao for inspiration as to how to eliminate dissent.
As for my purpose in posting the video… I simply wanted to show why JP seemed to get a little upset with our President for shrugging off forced abortions and forced sterilizations and documented infanticide as cultural differences.
For some reason, Communist regimes assume they own the rights to all the labor, including what any woman can or cannot produce.

That made me laugh… his hair is awful, isn’t it? but, he cracks me up with the “This Just In!” line most of the time. He’s like that funny red-headed kid in the class who was always going to jump up and set off the fire alarm if no one was looking.
In my class, that kid’s name was Jerry and in the fourth grade he brought a grocery sack full of his mother’s bras to school to hang on all couple dozen of the coat hooks for bags and coats in the middle school entrance. I was lucky enough to be on hall pass and made the discovery, which I promptly reported to my teacher. It was just about the most awesome thing I ever witnessed at age 10. He’d randomly placed her bras all up and down the coat racks and it was the oddest thing I’d seen at school up to that time.
