When Hillary does that phony little thing of pretending that she spots a pal in the audience and opens her mouth and points…Did you ever get the feeling that a few dozen people in the crowd are flipping her the bird?
That last one, As a student who didn’t pay much attention or like history classes in school, I am amazed at how many people and our government keep showing me that they didn’t learn squat from history. I guess reading a lot is what made me different.
The very wealthy and powerful learn from history just like anyone else. And then they ignore it for their own selfish reasons. You don’t often see the criminals leaders paying for their crimes in history. What you see is people cleaning up the mess afterwards.
Also, most of history is incredibly biased, if not outright fabricated, so how much can truly be learned?
Also, as an unremarkable person, is my own knowledge of history sufficient to make a difference in any way?
