The Digital Gulag: Why Team Tyranny Won’t Need Door-Kickers to Enforce the Coming Gun Bans

There is currently a lot of attention being paid to new Democrat-proposed gun control laws, particularly House Bill 127, which would require national registration and licensing of all firearms, would ban broad categories of semi-automatic weapons, ban most ammunition magazines, and so on. One of the most frequent replies to these proposed laws is that there are not enough local or federal SWAT Team door-kickers to go house to house on gun confiscation raids, and if they tried, they would 1. soon run out of door-kickers and 2. instigate Civil War Two.

But in the modern digital era, I believe that Team Tyranny won’t have to do much door-to-door gun confiscation. I think that a few show-piece gun confiscation raids using overwhelming force at 4AM (that are designed for network TV audiences) will be sufficient. Instead, they’ll just send citizens a notice by text, email and registered snail-mail that they already know what newly-illegal guns they possess. This list will be based on AI programs scraping and data-mining your social media history, credit card purchases, and all past FFL sales records, which surely will be collected as part of the new law.

All of this information will be knitted together much the way that the IRS does business. I borrowed this paradigm from “Old Curmudgeon” on a Free Republic thread:
“Have you noticed how the IRS manages to enforce the tax laws? Every taxable transaction is documented by multiple parties so that one party’s failure to report will be revealed by the another party’s paperwork. Then the person who violated the tax law is made an example of, a horrible example, causing reasonable people to be very afraid of the IRS. They will use a similar method to end gun ownership.”

And don’t think for a minute that they won’t get all the gun sales records, once they pass their “Emergency Measures To Prevent Domestic Terrorism Act.”

So how will they plan to separate you from your now-illegal guns? You’ll be notified that next Thursday at 9AM is your designated time to appear at a certain address, perhaps your local police station, or perhaps a big-box store parking lot, with said newly-illegal firearms and ammo magazines. Current Covid vaccine distribution gives them a model for this new system. Instead of going to get a Covid shot, you’ll be going to turn in the newly banned guns on the list.

Many people will refuse to do so. A week later, they will be totally disappeared from social media. Digitally disappeared. This makes it hard to complain about your treatment.

If you send an email about your situation to your local news station, they will automatically get a warning email just ahead of yours, or your email will be contained inside of a red flashing “warning box.” This is how the CCP keeps the comrades in line in Communist China. ChiCom programmers are already working with silicon valley to get Team Tyranny, both government and private sector, up to speed on these protocols.

You’ll get more official warnings to turn in the newly illegal guns that they know you have. Serial numbers won’t matter much, they’ll have your own prior social media “confessions,” along with those proud pictures you posted at the range, along with your credit card history, etc. You bought ten P-Mags, a chest rig, a “drop-in” trigger and a new buffer spring? They know you have an AR. And you can assume that the sales records of FFL dealers will all be collected under the new “emergency” gun control law.

You still won’t comply? You’re doxed at work. Your company “can’t take the risk” of employing you after they get secret back-channel warnings from the DHS. You and your wife the school teacher or nurse will be unemployed. How are you going to pay your mortgage? Your kids’ tuition bill? Your car payment? Again, as a DHS-suspected “domestic terror threat” you can’t get the local news to touch the story.

Next step: your ATM card is frozen. Then your credit cards. Then your bank drops you. Still a hard case? Your electricity arrives intermittently. Then it stops altogether. Then your water is cut off. The local news will still not touch your story, since they have been warned about the dangerous domestic terror threat from people like you.

Team Tyranny won’t need to conduct many door-to-door gun raids. They’ll just lock you inside a digital gulag in your own house.

And if you freak out in anger and rage and try to get revenge, who will you go after? Washington DC is now behind a razor-wire-topped wall guarded by thousands of troops, so forget that. Your local police chief? Your mayor? Who do you go after? If you do target them, then you are a domestic terrorist, and they’ll kill you, or at least arrest you and send you to a real prison. (The local gun-collection points might become a sporadic random target, but they will be very well guarded by SWAT counter-snipers etc.)

These are just some thoughts of mine about how the new gun bans might be rolled out and enforced. Do I know for a fact that this is how Team Tyranny will enforce an American gun ban? No. But it’s worth considering, at least more than just saying “they don’t have enough door kickers!”

They won’t need many door kickers. The Digital Gulag might be enough.

I spoke about this on Infowars last Thursday:

“The Digital Gulag is Practice for Extermination”

Not Sure

The only protection will be strangers coming for them when the are coming for you, because when they come to your door, you will have no recourse but to surrender.

The collective solution is to disrupt the grid to such a degree that ecommerce as well as elockdowns will be a no go; but that’s pretty messy.

GomeznSA
GomeznSA

What you said and what was in the article are both true – at least to some extent.
Don’t forget that after years of going after Al Capone by numerous law enforcement outfits, he was finally taken down for tax evasion. But that has not stopoed anyone that was determined to do so from cheating on their taxes.
Whatever happens, you are correct – it will be ‘messy’.

Ed

Well, Matt says they won’t have to come to our doors. He thinks that they can make us turn over our only means of protecting our property. I think he’s wrong. He can turn his in to get something they’re dangling, but my ancestors have fought governments here before and, whether they lived or died in the fight, they all had descendants.

They knew that the fight wasn’t for themselves, but for the generations that came after them. Having to fight some evil people who want to rule other people isn’t the end of the world. It’s just a time when the sun shines on a good day to die.

Anonymous
Anonymous

I get your point, our ancestors knew how to take a stand; their resilience is a lesson we all must learn.

But today the government has much more encroachment in our lives that it did for our past generations of descendants. We have allowed them to control our monies, sustenance and property. In order to stand as our grandparents did, we will first have to cut all the ties to our dependence to the government tit.

falconflight

More direct sacrifices are needed than the absence of dependences. Cutting all dependences won’t protect anyone ‘they’ want to confiscate.

Why is there no recourse but to surrender?

The govt collectively is a bungling, incompetent group of criminal dimwits who can’t find their asses with both hands. Name one govt organization that is efficient.
Don’t ascribe traits they don’t possess.
The county Sheriffs would have to be involved. I doubt there are that many that would want to paint a bull’s eye on themselves, homes and family.
Should push come to shove, I hope this is one line in the sand where people will take a stand. Those that possess them would be crazy to turn them in. Over and over history is the perfect reminder on what happens when people are disarmed.
“SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED”. Pretty fucking simple.

RLABruce
RLABruce

When our rights are defined by government agents using guns, we no longer have rights.

As for our local sheriff department: I attended my deputy step-son’s retirement “party,” and in talking with him and observing his co-workers, they are all thugs who would enjoy rounding up citizens and their guns. At such a party you would expect fun, jokes and merriment; what we saw was military-garbed, unsmiling thugs lined up together against a wall, talking amongst themselves–and giving anyone else a “leave-or-I’ll-kill-you” look that chilled me to the bone.

AND THEN THIS WILL HAPPEN….

“ The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of ‘Men who wanted to be left Alone’.
They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love.
They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it.
They know, that the moment they fight back, the lives as they have lived them, are over.
The moment the ‘Men who wanted to be left Alone’ are forced to fight back, it is a small form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. . . .
Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these ‘Men who wanted to be left Alone’, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror.
TRUE TERROR will arrive at the Left’s door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy . . . . but it will fall upon deaf ears.” – author unknown

They don’t even enforce the gun laws on the books now. The second amendment is to keep tyrannical Gov. in check. Like the ones that grab guns. Go ahead and drive up to people’s houses and risk your life telling people to hand over their weapons. Local cops here make around 35000 a year, not enough money to get shot over. Tyrants love an unarmed populace. Slaves don’t own guns.

Ed

True enough, but they tell us that the cops out here (rural county too far from the city to be a ‘burb)make about $40k a year, but all the fuckers drive new trucks, their wives drive new SUVs and they have bass boats, and other toys in their carports. I guess that policing is an entreprenurial occupation here, just like it is in Mexico.

Grace,
I’m also looking deeply into a solar setup. I’ve been researching causally for a year. There is a great guide that’s got a unfortunate title.
“Mobile Solar Power” by William Prowse is an excellent primer for $13. He covers about everything in a very easy read. Example setups are provided. You can’t go wrong with his book.

I run a 48 volt system with 1200 amp/hour of battery backup. 24 panels, 6000 watt inverter charger, and 24 batteries(about 5 days). The whole system cost 19k to buy. I installed it myself 10 years ago. Payback was at 8 years and now maintenance is distilled water for the batteries. You can’t just set it up and walk away. I am the utility company now. Our heat, power, and water are our responsibility.

grace country pastor

The system I’m considering utilizes a “micro-inverter” per panel, not one central inverter. We would maintain connection to the grid for a time until the company releases its own batteries within the year. It’s said they will be more efficient and less expensive than Tesla power wall systems. That’s good cause Elon weirds me out.

I’m not even close to being able to install the system myself. The rates for installation, use and maintenance are less per month than I’m currently paying to the power company!

How do I resist? A 20 year note I can pay off (hopefully) early, that’s less than my current electric bill! Prices for electric are not going down…

Doc
Doc

Be cautious regarding grid-tie systems. For safety, these systems shut down when there is no power on the grid as mandated by the National Electrical Code. This implies that precisely when you need your system the most, it won’t work. Most micro-inverter systems also utilize a relatively high voltage system to minimize losses from voltage drops, and are typically in the 300-600 volt range.

Make sure the vendor understands EXACTLY what you want from the system and gives you a quote in writing that specifies that the system will satisfy your specific needs. Most systems designed to sell your power to the the grid are not designed to provide you with power.

grace country pastor

Doc, thank you for that important piece of info!

Hardscrabble Farmer
Hardscrabble Farmer

12 Years of solar power experience and I am still learning the nuances.

The weak links are on a continued supply line for electronics- inverters/controls- and storage batteries vs. getting used to no energy in darkness or ties to the grid via net metering. But even if those could be guaranteed there is a bigger challenge on the horizon very few people are willing to consider.

How we adjust to a world without- because they will absolutely use utilities in the same way they currently use social media to enforce compliance. Go along if you wan the juice to flow, or dissent and face being cut off.

The problem is not about access to modern technologies, but rather our dependence upon them. The entire ascent from the early industrial era up until the 4th industrial revolution was one of increasing freedom provided by the easy access to services, products and specialists. From the moment those who run the show determined just how little opposition there was to their behavior, all of those advances now serve as a means of dominance over us. That has now become the Sword of Damocles as everything under centralized control can be removed at the flip of switch in order to force submission to those who provide those goodies.

Now would be a good time to assess your real motives going forward; can you live as you desire without these advances or are you willing to wear the yoke in exchange for the uninterrupted access to them.

grace country pastor

“The problem is not about access to modern technologies, but rather our dependence upon them.”

Grace, check out builditsolar.com,a lot of cool plans/ideas ect. there.I am at moment working on a small scale solar hot water heater, seems good will ramp it up.

I have noticed a lot of research into batteries made with hemp,IF it works out would be a huge gain in solar as no need for rare earths ect.

grace country pastor

Thank you James! I think you may be a far craftier fellow than me if you’re building your own system… 😊 More power to ya! Get it… 😆

TampaRed
Doc
Doc

Don’t get your hopes up on hemp batteries. Batteries need conductors – i.e. metals that share ions and an electrolyte that can carry them. Lithium, Nickel, Silver, Lead, Cadmium, Iron, Cobalt and Mercury are not rare earth metals either.

Fido
Fido

Batteries are the weak link. They are big, heavy, expensive, and short lived.

Lead-Acid batteries can last about 20 years, but only if you *never* use them, leaving them always on standby and charge maintained. Dive into them by 50% of their capacity every night and that will drop to less than four years. LiFe batteries are much smaller and lighter, and may last much longer, but will not last forever, are much more expensive, and require complicated electronics to safely charge (usually comes with the batteries, but must be protected if you worry about EMPs) NiFe batteries are bigger still, heavier, less effecient, and *very* expensive (nickel is a semiprecious metal), but will last *much* longer. How much longer is not clear (Jay Leno has an antique electric car made by Thomas Edison that is still running on it’s original batteries)

If you run with Lead-Acit (lead-zinc), I would try to get at least one completely spare set of batteries *dry* (electrolyte stored separately).

Mygirl....maybe

“Your electricity arrives intermittently.”

Pfft. After the storms last month I’m used to that. As to the gun grab? Grey men own no guns. Neither do Luddites.

Coalclinker

I’ve got 14 of them, acquired over the last 20 some-odd years. I used to live in a town that had frequent power outages, hence my interest. They’re pretty hard to find anymore; I find one maybe once every other year. If the price is flea market low, I just can’t pass them up. Don’t buy the new ones, for IMHO they are way too expensive, and their current Chinese-made quality is rather poor.

grace country pastor

Must be an impressive collection, thanks for sharing! And yes, most new anything kinda sucks. No real pride in craftsmanship any longer.

Coalclinker
Coalclinker

Some of the lamps like the one shown have a flaw. The lamp base and the oil bowl are 2 pieced, joined by a dab of molten glass. If you wash one of those, ALWAYS use room temperature soapy water and rinse. They only made that style a year, before they figured out that the top and bottom should be joined by a metal ring where both pieces are epoxied together.

Doc
Doc

I have several and I love them. I’m glad that I purchased a few chimneys and wicks and a case of mantles a few decades ago. Those mantles are now incredibly expensive. I just don’t care for using them in the summer, though. They do throw out some heat. They are about as bright as a 60 Watt light bulb and will burn all night on about a pint of kerosene with no soot and almost no odor.

SmallerGovNow

make nice heaters as well. mine got us through the recent cold snap in south texas…. chip

Coalclinker
Coalclinker

An Aladdin Mantle Lamp puts out about 2500 B.T.U. of thermal energy while producing about 60 Watts of light. If you use a High Attitude Chimney, both figures increase by about 10%. Use ONLY Pure 1-k kerosene, NEVER “lamp oil”,or you will have a raging flaming lamp that is guaranteed to make you very afraid.

That lamp right there or similar. Have people never been camping without all the gadgetry??? Go camping. Do not take your laptop, cell phone or any electronics at all. After the third day out the anxiety will subside and you will suddenly discover the sounds of nature, the movements of the air, and the stars in the sky. Marvel at God’s creations.

I disagree the power will be intermittent. They’d have to send a crew to affect just you and that’d kinda tip you off to whays happening. Enough to rally those around you. If they do it to an area to cause you discomfort, thats gonna tip everyone off that they’d best keep a fresh one in the chamber.

This article is right on and it will be incremental so hard to fight. They have more ways to target you also. It’s good to face up to facts. Everyone should probably own an emf weapon, too, for instance. Preppers where are you? I don’t believe there are many laws about them because they don’t want to admit them even though there’s videos on how to make them.
However on the plus side they are drunk with power and not following the strategy very well so might give everyone a good launching place for resistance. Some states will lag behind and not go along for awhile- At least until they can rig your elections and kill your good sheriffs, burn down the forest you live by and your house, etc.

I am not sure if it was criticizing the ‘vaccine’ (which is not a vaccine) that got me booted, but that might have been it.

And to think, if Breitbart is banning conservatives (it isn’t disqus because my profile still works on other sites), what chance do we have on other platforms?

Same here, but over a much longer time frame.

My own idea is that local LEOs will set up “safety” check-points or “sobriety” stops. If their records show you still have guns, you will go directly to jail as a terrorist suspect while they execute a search warrant at your home by tearing it down to the foundation in their search for weapons, forcing your wife and kids to find a new home with no money, bank accounts, clothes, furniture or appliances, ALL of which have been seized. Metal detectors and soil density radar will find your “hidden” stashes in your house or buried in your back yard. Since your wife is married to a known terrorist, she is now fired and unemployable, and your children will be taken from you. You will NEVER be released, since you are now defined as a domestic terrorist. You will be made an example of, and enjoy the rest of your days discussing Mohammed and the Koran with your Muslim roommates at Gitmo–who will likely be released, while you will NEVER be released.

IMO, the biggest issue you identified is the ‘be made an example of’. When the full blown communists solidifies its hold. it will choose some targets they think will cause the most shock and awe.

Media will blare, nation wide, a white nationalist, a Trump voter, was caught planning a coup with other Trumpers. Show trial for the terrorist. Communist’s propaganda arm goes into turbo mode, turn in your terrorist Trump voted neighbour to save the democracy, the nation. We’ve seen some of this already.

The only people that are protected by this gun confiscation bill are the criminals. They will never register their stolen guns.

The right to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED…

At some point, we need to stop being afraid of what can be done to us, and instill a little fear in the hearts of those who “serve” us…

…I will not comply…

One box of green tips and an hour car ride around a large city, tapping the bottom of selected transformers and said city will go dark. All for around $20.
