Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey will testify before the House Energy and Commerce Committee on March 25, 2021. During this hearing, we are going to have a conversation about the role of the Big Tech industry on society and discuss reform measures that may be needed.
From my perspective, Big Tech Reform Measures should be guided by the following principles:
1) Increasing meaningful transparency
2) Enhancing oversight and accountability
3) Pushing for consistency and objectivity
4) Exploring competition issues so innovation is unleashed, not quashed.

Except for YouTube, I don’t participate in any social media and I don’t feel like I’ve lost anything by not participating. I also still don’t own a cell phone; only a landline. And this is the only website that I even comment on.
I don’t know why people insist on communicating with friends and family (and absolute strangers) on social media. What’s wrong with a telephone call or a visit, or a written letter, for that matter?
