It kinda looked like the above. The tiger was not hit. The shooter was an off-duty deputy. Owning tigers is legal in Texas (BFYTW), but not in Houston city limits. The tiger’s owner reportedly got in a car and fled with the tiger before police could show up. His whereabouts are still unknown.

The suspect was arrested the next day for a bond violation relating to his 2017 murder charge and for evading arrest. He lived in his parents home in Houston. Full story with more pics here (Daily Mail).

While that white shark is huge the picture is misleading because of the perspective. Shark closer to the camera, the diver much further away. But yeah… I’d be keeping an eye on it at all times too…
NOT a white shark, those are bull sharks. Totally different snout and dentition. Bull sharks are FAR scarier than Great Whites because they swim up rivers and can live in fresh water. Imagine going for a swim in your local river and coming across something like that beast…oh, and…they do well in shallow water too….

Fuck you. Did you watch the video? He was standing next to a truck, which he could have gotten into.
I’m told that when he fired his gun, he missed every time. Generally, when you get into a truck and close the door, there is little chance of “missing,” since he had ample time, and tigers can’t get into trucks. Why do I say this? One word – Geodesics. The shortest path between him and not getting mauled by a tiger was to get into a metal structure like a truck.
His attempting to shoot the tiger had nothing to do with self-preservation.
Looks like your powers of observation of videos are even a lower skill than your power to explain your position on a topic.

Tigers can get into trucks. They can bust through the windows quite easily. For instance:
A zoo keeper was mopping in front of 1 foot square thick viewing window that looked into a tiger enclosure. The tiger broke through the window with a paw, grabbed the keeper and drug his ass through the small window opening. The keepers boots were left outside the window, as the got scraped off as he was being pulled through.
Tigers are not to be fucked with.
I chose to post this story because it seemed like a fun story … I mean a tiger on the loose in Houston … isn’t something you see every day. You know, like fucken Covid stories coming out my ass every day.

I was just about to say, I have a pet shark. What’s the big deal?
The tiger’s owner is an idiot. The tiger was loose a couple of weeks ago also. He’s going to get that cat killed. And as for that bull shark, that’s nothing. There are a half-dozen dive operations in Jupiter that do shark dives everyday, and feed the sharks. That guy didn’t just encounter it on a random dive. It’s that fat because it gets fed every day. One of my friend’s nineteen-year-old daughters is the divemaster for one of those operations. They have a 15 foot tiger shark that is a regular on those dives. It’s a submarine. She sends me jaw dropping pictures of her hugging that 15 foot tiger shark. She’s about five five. I’m a diver, and I’m not really scared of sharks. But I wouldn’t go near that thing.
Lots of drug dealers like to keep tigers and other exotic big cats and predators. They think it makes them look tough. Problem is, the cats end up suffering malnutrition, disease and neglect and their idiot owners couldn’t care less.
As to sharks…the quality and caliber of underwater photography is stunning these days. Wonder what kind of cameras they’re using?
