It is an iron law of the universe that the Left’s favorite right-winger is whoever currently has his hand on the knife firmly planted in the back of conservative voters. Nothing titillates the Left more than seeing one of their imagined enemies giving another imagined enemy the business. In the Trump years, they were spoiled for choice, as one “conservative” after another took their turn condemning the evil orange man. Now that Trump is gone, the party is turning their knives on one another.
This week the odious Liz Cheney is expected to be removed from her position as conference chair. She was put in that position because her father, the warmongering lunatic Dick Cheney, used his connections to get her in the House and then into the leadership of the conference. Like all ne’er-do-well children of successful politicians, Liz Cheney has a serious case of entitlement. Instead of going out with dignity, she embarrassed herself one last time with a tantrum on the House floor.
The lefty media, who universally condemned her father as some sort of Bond villain during the Bush years, is now firmly in the Liz Cheney camp. She is principled and dignified in her attack on her party and former leader. The fact that Cheney seems to delight in hating Republican voters makes her an ideal Republican, as far as the Washington media is concerned. They are still shaking over the memories of January 6 when angry bands of Dirt People were patrolling the city.
Liz Cheney, of course, is a hyper-credentialed clodhopper. Left to her own talents, she would be a schoolteacher or an office frau. She is a mediocrity born into opulence and then festooned with honors and titles that she did nothing to earn. Instead of becoming worldly through hard experience, she became even more narrow-minded and oblivious through her quick trip through the narrow word of politics. She never learned simple things like when to keep your mouth shut around the boss.
She is emblematic of what has gone terribly wrong with the Republican Party in particular and politics in general. Not far behind her on the way out the door is a collection of loafers and deadbeats planning their own big drama. A group of has-beens and never-will-be’s have alerted their friends at the New York Times that they are terribly vexed at their party. So terribly vexed, in fact, they will pack up their cubicles and march right out the front door of the party. Maybe even start a new party!
Politics is mostly about luck. Jimmy Carter is remembered as a terrible president, mostly because he inherited a bad hand. Reagan is a genius because he inherited a Fed chief with the skill and guts to fix the money supply. In the case of the GOP, they are catching a break as the remaining members of the neocon hive slither away in anger over their lost status. They cannot win elections with the neocons running the show, so maybe they can win elections without them.
For their part, the people running the GOP are not a collection of Machiavellian political geniuses either. They are as obtuse and dimwitted as the finks. The main difference is they have enough sense to pretend to like their voters. Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell hate their voters as much as anyone else in Washington. They just know that they cannot be public about it. They have no intention of doing anything for those voters, but they are happy to lie to them about it.
This may be all that is happening here. The party knows that Trump voters have no appetite for the old school republicanism. They may be stupid, but they are not that stupid, so sacrificing a dimwit like Cheney is just a distraction. This is the sort of cost-free effort that the party prefers. The fact that Cheney and these other idiots are excited to play the role makes it even easier. McCarthy gets to look like a hero, chasing the usual suspects out of the temple.
On the other hand, it could be another step in a realignment of the parties. It is quite obvious that the Democrats plan to be the antiwhite party. Even though it is currently helmed by white geezers, they see their future with the dusky hoards. That leaves the Republicans with only one choice. They have to be the white party. The people running the party hate this, but reality is not going to yield for them. The best they can hope for is a mask that makes the reality of their position less obvious.
On the other other hand, this could just be another chapter in the story of how an elite populated by dullards pulled the roof down on themselves. The turmoil in the GOP looks like bliss compared to what is going on with the other side. In six months of their rule, we have gas lines, spiraling inflation and a crime wave. The best they can muster is some giggles and “whoopsie” when asked about it. Their turn at clawing each other’s eyes out comes this summer, when the troubles cannot be ignored.
In the grand scheme of things, none of this really matters. The political system we have can work fine with a European population, but it will never work in a balkanized majority-minority population from around the globe. No one in either party has the courage or intelligence to speak to this reality, so the system will mostly like rattle itself to pieces over these sorts of issues. Like the band on the Titanic, the parties will keep doing what they do until they sink below the water line.

It’s people like Liz Cheney that remind me of why I detest democracy and haven’t voted in a national election in 35 years. Anyone who would vote for her is a self-destructive asshole and I hate having to share space with such people.
It definitely makes you question the wisdom of the people in Wyoming. People with brains should know one dick is more than enough.

Additionally question the people of Utah voting in Mittens, a known weasel. So he goes on to prove what the rest of already knew. Its the same when WV voted for Obama – WTF?
Both political parties are just that. Political parties, who do what all politicians do: stab each other in the back to get a little bit ahead of the next idiot.
That aside, the statement “That leaves the Republicans with only one choice. They have to be the white party” is as wrong as it can be. A government must represent all citizens. When government becomes divisive along any lines, it fails and we all suffer. Identity politics is what the left does, and we all see daily how that works out.
It should be the pro Western Civilization Party. Lots of Blacks,Hispanics, Asians are attracted to its features such as rule of law, individual rights etc. Hispanics in the southwest will vote majority Republican in ’22. Heroic Black role models will be standing up and running as Republicans like Burgess Owens successfully did in Utah. Republicans must be the party of ideas, not the party of skin color.
I’d rather associate with minorities who favor Western values than white commieasses any day.

It would be nice if all races and creeds could just get along happily. That might even be possible if the society was over 90% one race/creed and the others were civilized. Like 90% white and 10% Japanese, or vice versa. The FUSA is decades past that point. In multiracial empires, race and creed overtake all philosophical debates. You either carve out pieces for each group that the group can tolerate, or you start coming apart. We are, of course, at least a decade into “coming apart.”
The Democrats are temporarily triumphant but major fault lines are already showing. It’s quite fun to watch the core anti-zionist Jews of the DNC do battle with the lingering remains of nominally Christian Dems (including Biden), the powerful upstart Latino groups, the zombie Commies like Bernie and AOC, the insanely rabid Muslims like Tlaib, and those poor, poor black Dems who worry about islands tipping over. For now it’s popcorn-munching time, but those fault lines are moving towards coalitions that will become de facto separate parties.
At the national level the Republicans don’t stand for any particular thing and have no coherent platform. Some individuals are still good, like Rand Paul, but the party overall is rudderless and sinking.
Most Republicans are white Christians who want a return to a mythical past that isn’t coming back. The majority of them would do far better with an overtly pro-white party. The RNC minority who are Zionist neoclowns hate their base, but need it because Zionist newclowning is an impossible sell to the left, and only works with some of the right through a mixture of ignorance and completely false, perhaps even Satanic, zionist preaching by charismatic “Christians,” who largely would be whipping Jesus and cheering for the Roman executioners if they had been there in Calvary.
So wish all you want for some kum-bye-ah philosophical civnat party, it’s a nice idea but it’s not coming, ever. Keep waiting for Godot. Sometime in the next 1-2 years the still shell-shocked Republican base will realize that there is no law or justice any more, and that no one is coming to save them, and will start doing something about. The word for 2023 is “spicytime.”
You are correct. Maybe we (FUSA) will come apart, if we continue to choose that road. But we don’t have to, just like a drug addict does not have to choose to continue taking drugs. All races and creeds don’t get along, never have, never will. But that’s OK, problems only arise when we are forced together. Those who choose to live multi-racially and can do so without problem should be allowed to do so; those who can’t should also be allowed to do so as well.
I did not say a word about civic nationalism, only that having a party for Whites is as wrong as it can be. Separate parties based on race is anything but civic nationalism, but just the opposite, which I cover a bit below.
On selecting Henry Ford as my screen name,
Henry Ford was many things, but he was not perfect by any means. No one is. I chose “Henry Ford” as my penname because he never ever quit.
Henry Ford was one of the greatest industrialists of all time. One of his many successes was the moving assembly line, which revolutionized mass production. As an engineer by profession, I chose his name out of respect for his accomplishments. He was a doer, not a bullshitter or con-artist like so many in this world. He expected results, and got them.
He was critical of those who contributed nothing but expected to share in the wealth. He did not condone laziness. This is one of the reasons I despise able persons that sit on their ass and collect stimmies. No doubt, Mr. Ford would have agreed.
Here are a few of his quotes. A couple that I like best:

Henry Ford paid his workers enough that they could afford his cars, double the typical wages (~minimum wages) of the time period, which supported development of the middle class, and the sale of his products. He believed in giving everyone a chance, and put his money on the line to prove it.
Ford had a dark side, as well. Who doesn’t? Yes he had racist opinions, not because he hated Blacks, but because he believed their culture was hurting American culture. On their true culture, he was wrong, but he had a reason for his beliefs, unlike today’s racist of all colors that just hate solely based on skin color. All White people are racist? Bullshit. Critical Race Theorists, BLM, antifa, and their ilk do nothing more than hate based on skin color; that which is why I despise them. BLM rioting is not American culture, but criminal acts. Henry Ford would have called them out too.
Henry (in the Dearborn Independent newspaper he owned) published articles in the 1920’s entitled “The International Jew: The World’s Problem.” His series was praised by Hitler who said “I regard Henry Ford as my inspiration”. Hitler said this simply because Ford wrote about Jews, who Hitler hated. Ford believed that Jewish financiers around the world were responsible for WWI and made money by financing both sides. Did this happen? You bet, but not only Jews made money this way.
Only sociopaths would not hate warmongers that profit from war. Military Industrial Complex, Wall Street, Central Bankers, anyone? Again, Ford had a reason, not opinion based on religion alone. At the same time, Henry Ford had Jewish friends. Couched in today’s terms, this points out the fallacy of condemnation of all persons of a particular group, or identity politics. If Ford did not learn from this generalization, maybe some of us can.
Civic Nationalism attempts to unite people based on a shared cause, like being an American. It does not attempt to create separatism, white / black / brown groups, Christian / Jewish / Muslim groups. This is identity politics which will always fail. The left wants identity politics, because it divides us; at least it seems that way by their actions, encouraged by all the shit being flung around daily by individuals and the MSM. The different peoples and races that make up America are not falling for that anymore.
America, like it or not, is multi-cultural, multi-racial. What are we going to do, separate into White and Black states or counties? Build walls to keep each other out? We can try but it will fail. Maybe we are no longer a united country, but we certainly will not be if we attempt that. Just like making the Republican party the “White” party. Really, a low IQ idea if there ever was one. Do we throw out all the Blacks and Hispanics? Or do they stay but become Uncle Toms or Tio Pedros? Do we have those who never owned slaves pay reparations to those who were never slaves? It will never be enough, never “equal” enough for those proposing this path.
I have been privileged in my career to work with and appreciate people from all over the world, many races, many religions, many cultures. I was raised in a DC suburb, where my parents entertained and befriended people assigned to many embassies. Talk about cultural differences; but they simply liked people. It was an eye opener from the start. When I see a group of Asians, or a group or Blacks, or a group of Whites, or a group of women, or a bicycle club, or a family together, or a group of gays, or a motorcycle club, with no outsiders, I find nothing wrong with that, as these people prefer to be with their own kind. Let them. That’s the way humans are.
When people having different beliefs or characteristics choose to be together and share our differences, we do well. We have problems when we are forced together, told we are racist if we prefer our own kind, told we must agree with all philosophies and beliefs or we are phobic. When I see anyone try to force their view on anyone else, especially children, or be taken in in America as a “refugee” and then proceed to tell us how wrong we are, or tear down our country or our flag, I want them gone.
Henry Ford apologized for his anti-Semitic and racist publishings. Some say it was disingenuous. It does not matter, he is gone, and we are left to build the future. I believe that given enough time, Ford would have learned from this mistake that lumped all Jews together just as he did in business. Some say his publishings form the basis for hate groups today. Maybe so, but we will never learn and move forward as a human race if we burn the books, tear down the statues, and attempt to erase history. Already we have to relearn our mistakes every 4th turning, as those that experienced the tragedies the last time have all died off. Let’s not make this harder by erasing history, but learn from it, as we do in engineering, a field in which Henry Ford excelled.

That is the stupidest thing I have read on the internet this week. So how does a government go about representing the interests of a bunch of people with disparate interests?
Our current government does not represent the people, so you are correct, a representative government will never happen in this environment. It will take forcing our representative to listen to us, and getting rid of lobbyists and special interests.
We have had disparate interests from the time this country was started. Do you think those that gathered at the Constitutional Convention in 1776 and the same group leading up to that action agreed on everything? Hardly. It is bad now, no doubt much worse. We either try or just give up and quit? What would you like to do?

As someone pointed out on here earlier, it was not about the delivery of gasoline, but the ability to bill for the product.
The company I worked for was attacked by ransomware a few years ago. We shut down the system, wiped it clean and installed the back-up data. It took about 3 days total and another 2 days to catch up on back billing, A/P, etc.
