Joe Biden: The New Jimmy Carter
Rampant inflation. Declining economic prospects. Chaos and violence in the Middle East. Appeasing Iran despite its acting contrary to our interests. Social conflict. Appeasement, under the guise of “détente” with our greatest geopolitical competitors. Endless gas lines and empty gas stations. What does all of that make you think of?
If you thought of the present day, you’d certainly be right. Biden has done a great job of driving the miraculous Trump economy and Trump’s peace in the Middle East accomplishments into the ground despite the Abraham Accords, a vaccine and vaccine distribution system, and an economy ready to roar. But, if that list of dreadfulness reminded you of another president, Jimmy Carter, then you’d also be right. That’s because Biden is the new Jimmy Carter.
Carter’s presidency, as many of you already know, was a disaster. Stagflation wrecked the middle class, he groveled before the mullahs when Iran took over our embassy (it took Reagan’s threats of annihilation for the hostages to eventually be released), the USSR invaded Afghanistan despite (or perhaps because of) his “détente” policies, which largely consisted of removing our backbone and tossing it in the trash, and Americans were generally in a “deep malaise.” Perhaps that malaise was rooted in the stagflation and gas lines of the time. Or his weakness abroad. Or his complete lack of leadership.
Other than his deregulation of the railroad industry, Carter did everything terribly. From foreign policy to domestic affairs, the Carter presidency was a trainwreck.
We can suffice it to say that Biden, like Jimmy Carter the peanut farmer, has similarly screwed the proverbial pooch.
He’s bending over backward to appease the mullahs, senselessly attempting to fund their “Death to America” rallies. Perhaps he hopes they’ll buy Woke Coke to douse the burned remnants of the stars and stripes. Meanwhile, he’s giving cash to the Palestinians that cheered when the planes hit the towers on 9/11. Even better, he’s appeasing China Unlike Trump or Reagan but like Carter, Biden’s backbone has been surgically removed and his balls seem have to fallen off. Maybe Major bit them…
Then, on the domestic front, Biden’s been just as bad as Carter. Thousands of gas stations are empty and gas prices are skyrocketing. Inflation is shooting up to levels unheard of since Carter. Businesses remain closed because they’ve either been burned to the ground by leftist radicals, unable to find workers because of Biden’s “stimmie” checks, or forced to remain closed by the Covid Commissars. Oh, and none of Carter’s deregulatory policies look like they’ll be implemented by Biden. Thanks, Joe!
If history is any guide, the next few years will be rough ones. Stagflation, a combination of rampant inflation, the result of profligate government spending, and a sluggish economy, again caused by incompetent bureaucrats, will lead to poor stock market returns and economic malaise. Poor foreign policy decisions, rooted mainly in weakness and cowardice, will make our enemies better off and us worse of; get ready for China’s ascendency, Russian revanchism, more war in the Middle East, and yet more humiliations for America on the world stage.
Worst of all, the American people will be generally worse off. Much is made of Trump’s mean tweets and refusal to behave conventionally, but he loved America and the American people. His economic and foreign policy decisions, rooted as they were in that love, made us all better off. The stock market rose, businesses were created and succeeded, and Americans generally had the chance to better themselves. The same happened with the Reagan Revolution. That’s what happens when you let the free market work. Unfortunately, the new Jimmy Carter’s ascendance to the presidency means that all of that is gone. Improving economic conditions are no more. Doing business will be more difficult and less profitable. Ditto that for investing.
Because of Slow Joe, the new Jimmy Carter, life for the average American will be far, far worse. And that’s what’s saddest about all this. Joe inherited an amazing situation. He could have let the economy run and life would have improved for all of us. But he couldn’t show some humility and let the free market work. He had to involve the government in our economic lives, and the result has been disaster. It’ll only get worse from here.
America needs leadership. The new normal can’t be the new Jimmy Carter. Unfortunately, it sure looks like Slow Joe has far more Carter in him than Reagan. America will suffer as a result.

Biden is the second iteration of Oblabla and, when he was sentient, a corrupt pol and grifter. Over 47 years spent sucking at the government trough, nothing to show for it except influence peddling and graft. These days his empty head gets loaded with drugs and he gets trotted out to wave his hands and make mouth noises.
Carter wasn’t an evil or corrupt man, Biden was and is. Biden is Obama’s little puppet and Obama is the good little puppet of the neocons and marxists.
I would like to point out some key differences between Jimmy and Biden:
1) Carter was actually elected by the people. Whereas Biden was installed into the Presidency by the elites against the will of the people.
2) Carter has been out of office for 40 years, yet his brain still functions well. Biden, not so much.
3) Carter tried to do a good job but he was in over his head. Biden doesn’t even try, he just does what he is told by his handlers.
4) Most important, Carter was honest. Biden…..
Didn’t vote for Carter but hoped for the best. After seeing his cabinet, I said to the mother of my children, we’re F*ED. Then they threw out Bert Lance for some minor loan thing associated with his bank – he was JC’s last lifesaver other than Ham Jordan.
However, it did take almost 3 yrs for JC to be attacked by the swimmin’ rabbit. Biden has been a disaster since Day 1.

Agree. He was not a Trilateral Commission or CFR guy, so they had it in for him from the start. Nixon severed the gold tie and Ford made things worse with rampant spending. Carter inherited that, not a nation on sound economic footing. Things were truly fucked before he got there. Frankly, the rising interest rates under Volker, who began under Carter, restored healthy savings, cleaned out some of the malinvestments, and set the stage for the massive growth under Reagan. Overall, the peanut farmer was out of his league in the cesspool of Washington. I think he was more ignorant of the scum than part of the problem. Biden is both clueless and a mass criminal with criminal intent. Carter was just a dupe who didn’t realize what he was getting into. Although I still think Carter is the greatest of scumbags in the way he spends countless hours caring about elections overseas while ignoring the non-stop crime spree that is elections in the US…beginning with atrocious ballot access rules for third parties.
We had an industrial base back in 1979. Lived then (hatedly) in Lenoir NC, the “Furniture Capital Of The World”. 40 yrs. later no Broyhills, Kincaids, or Bernhardts live there. Friends w/ all of them via 1st Presbyterian.

Ugh. It completely does not matter not if the president now is Biden, Obama, Bush II, Clinton, Bush I, and it matters only in minor transient ways if the president is Trump or Reagan. This is inside-out war. You are losing. The perverts have awakened as one like Skynet. Presidents are interchangeable. The Biden administration is defined by the system and the timing of the decline, not by Biden himself. You keep falling for the power-behind-the-throne trick, a specially of a certain people since circa 500 B.C. Looking at the consistency of printing money, Military-Industrial Complex expansion, feminism, immigration, socialism. It’s a warfare trend of a systemic problem too big to fail.
Carter was bad stylistically (although he never said “malaise”), but in practice, he did a few good things: He appointed Paul Volkker, who squeezed inflation out of the system by raising interest rates through the roof – in other words, tough medicine – something we’ve been allergic to ever since. Carter also deregulated the airline industry. Carter at least did what he thought was right for the country and tried to live according to his religion. Biden and his crooked family have been selling out the US to countries like China for money, and Biden’s administration is pursuing only those policies intended to perpetually entrench the left in power. Biden is already much worse than Carter.
Make today’s or yesterday’s Biden president when Carter was. What difference would that make? Make yesterday’s Carter president in lieu of Biden. What difference would that make. You can’t name one lasting thing done by any president. Well, I guess Reagan won the cold war. Now it’s jihadists and the Chi-Com superpower made by the American taxpayer and worker (i.e. U.S. Gov. and military-industrial-academia complex). No president will change the trend. The last president to change the trend was Lincoln, which is to say he is rated the greatest president by the Establishment because he is the political father of our current trend and this order, if we only look among the presidents that is.

Biden will be a disaster, that goes without saying. But any idea that things would get better under anyone else is absurd. Things will continue to deteriorate. Nobody will change that.
I expect new leadership any day now, but she will be much worse than the senile old pedophile. She still has her cognitive abilities and will make some dangerous decisions on her own.
