I am Violence! Make way, step aside, I will crush you!!

[What can we do to stop the Woke Insanity?  We haven’t the strength!]

We have so hopelessly ceded our humanity that for the modest handouts of today we are ready to surrender up all principles, our soul, all the labors of our ancestors, all the prospects of our descendants—anything to avoid disrupting our meager existence. We have lost our strength, our pride, our passion. We do not even fear a common nuclear death, do not fear a third world war (perhaps we’ll hide away in some crevice), but fear only to take a civic stance! We hope only not to stray from the herd, not to set out on our own, and risk suddenly having to make do without the white bread, the hot water heater, [the nice home in the suburbs].

[So many here on TBP call for violence as the only solution. But, is it?]

When violence bursts onto the peaceful human condition, its face is flush with self-assurance, it displays on its banner and proclaims: “I am Violence! Make way, step aside, I will crush you!

But violence ages swiftly, a few years pass—and it is no longer sure of itself. To prop itself up, to appear decent, it will without fail call forth its ally—Lies. For violence has nothing to cover itself with but lies, and lies can only persist through violence. And it is not every day and not on every shoulder that violence brings down its heavy hand: It demands of us only a submission to lies, a daily participation in deceit—and this suffices as our fealty.

And therein we find, neglected by us, the simplest, the most accessible key to our liberation: a personal non-participation in lies! Even if all is covered by lies, even if all is under their rule, let us resist in the smallest way: Let their rule hold not through me!

And this is the way to break out of the imaginary encirclement of our inertness, the easiest way for us and the most devastating for the lies. For when people renounce lies, lies simply cease to exist. Like parasites, they can only survive when attached to a person.

We are not called upon to step out onto the square and shout out the truth, to say out loud what we think—this is scary, we are not ready. But let us at least refuse to say what we do not think! (…) Our way must be: Never knowingly support lies! Having understood where the lies begin (and many see this line differently)—step back from that gangrenous edge!

Let us not glue back the flaking scales of the Ideology, not gather back its crumbling bones, nor patch together its decomposing garb, and we will be amazed how swiftly and helplessly the lies will fall away, and that which is destined to be naked will be exposed as such to the world.

The end.  I will now await your praises that this above is one of the best, if not THE best, thing I have ever written.  I would have to agree with you.

The real reason why this Woke Insanity persists is because we — yes, YOU and me — in one way or another, most often  via silent acquiescence (bloviating on the Internet doesn’t count) — tolerate these lies daily in our lives. “Even the most timid can take this least demanding step toward spiritual independence. If many march together on this path of passive resistance, the whole inhuman system will totter and collapse.” Do you have a better solution??

What’s to argue with all that??  Please don’t get all butt-hurt by the truth.  Can’t get more brilliant than all that.  Praise Stucky!! Except I didn’t write it. Alexander Solzhenitsyn did. Click here “LIVE NOT BY LIES”   to read the full text of one of his most brilliant speeches ever, …. and so damned apropos for Our Times (it’s not that long).

I’m calling on all humanity to turn the other cheek. In the meantime, I will continue to believe all media!

DFJ150

For those who don’t know the origin, “turn the other cheek” was for the Jews under Roman rule. Soldiers would slap the face of Jews with the back of their right hand as an insult to the subjugated people. Jews were instructed to “turn the other cheek” as a gesture of subtle defiance of their slavery. It was never meant to imply that believers were to passively accept attacks, physical or otherwise, on their persons or families. And yes, I agree with the sarcasm of Ouirphuqd’s post.

Great stuff, Stuck.

I do not believe that violence is the issue as such. I believe the problem is much more likely to be delayed violence.

What I mean is that I believe an early punch in the nose would prevent horrific violence later. When we were kids, and a bully came around, a good dust up early prevented years of bullying. Same thing would work now. But instead, we are “civilized” and try to reason with the bastards that hate us and would do us harm. That will not work.

So, much as I hope not and do not advocate for such, I think in the end we will likely have severe violence that could have been prevented by an early figurative or literal punch to the beak of those fucking with us.

Oh, and I did not believe for an instant you wrote it. You are a fine writer, but those descriptive turn of phrases were not like you at all.

There is plenty of violence afoot. It is almost exclusively being prosecuted by the various gov’ts of the US in concert with their street level confederates such as BLM/Antifa/CodePink etc.

I agree, Llpoh. I’m thinking Pinochet should be our North Star. He showed us how it really gets done. It’s coming. This bullshit is about to collapse on itself. I know, easy to talk tough from the free state of Florida, but we are just slightly ahead of the curve. Walmart and Publix ditched the masks yesterday. It’s amazing how quickly everything can change. Arizona has started the snowball of these vote audits, this ain’t going to end well for the bad guys. Nice find, Stuck. Perfect analogy to our current situation.

I liked Costa Gavras’ Missing. It’s like a fun-loving romantic comedy story about a guy (Jack Lemon) who learns what his worthless commie kid was doing when he got tied up in a right wing coup. Good thing muh sportz is popular in America. We’re going to need all those stadiums some day.

“Middle class America is no less violent than any other people. They seem passive because they’re results oriented. They rise not out of blood frenzy but to solve the otherwise insoluble. Their methods of choice are good will, cooperation, forbearance, negotiation and finally, appeasement, roughly in that order. Only when these fail to end the abuse do they revert to blowback. And they do so irretrievably. Once the course is set and the outcome defined, doubt is put aside. The middle class is known, condemned actually, for carrying out violence with the efficiency of an industrial project where bloody destruction at any scale is not only in play, it’s a metric. Remorse is left for the next generation, they’ll have the leisure for it. We’d like to believe this is merely dark speculation. History says it isn’t.” – The Late Ol’ Remus

That’s the sorriest comment I’ve ever seen on this website. Do you not think hijacking the presidential election is treason? Do you want to keep those people around so they can continue to destroy our country? How would you handle things, dumbfuck? That was Trump’s biggest mistake. He thought we disagreed on things. He didn’t realize these people are out to destroy everything we have.

I wasn’t sure if you wrote that or not. Thanks for sharing though.

I recently read ‘how we burned in the camps’ to the GD. She had questions about who, what, where, and when. I was impressed. Of course she doesn’t go to a pos .Gov school.

I tend to find that the plausible threat of violence is much more powerful than violence itself. Violence tends towards mutually assured destruction, and rarely goes well for those who instigate it. The threat of violence, when not met with an equal and opposite threat of violence, works brilliantly and makes a mockery of those who preach about facts and logic and truth, but immediately cower to the threat of coercion.

The problem is, left wing threats of violence are serious, and right wing threats of violence are a joke.

The greater problem is, Chinese threats of violence are serious, and American threats of violence are a joke.

In the end, it’s just prisoner’s dilemma.

With the balance as is, the right loses to the left, and the left loses to China.

So, then, that leaves two questions. What happens if we renounce violence and stoically martyr ourselves as the enemy cuts us down like weeds? Nothing. Sheep are slaughtered like sheep. The only thing that stops the left from just finishing the job tomorrow, is that they expect the right would, at some point, kill.

So, should we all go out and start killing people?

Of course, it’s very convenient for other people to sacrifice their lives while I do nothing, but giving charity to ungrateful bastards is a waste of effort. There’s no point participating in a 1 on 7 billion pvp environment. What the right can do right now is to stop insulting their own allies. The left is happy to accept violence on their own side, but the right maintains this law and order hysteria, that results in criticizing anyone who does anything for their own damn survival, and further, because politics innately requires violence to succeed, this demands that the right renounce winning itself, because if winning is important, then someone, somewhere, of logical necessity, must do violence at some point.

As in the capital hill riot. The right had to admit that fair and honest elections don’t really matter, because if they did, then the riot was justified, and in fact didn’t go far enough. What we really needed was to storm the bastille.

Note how during covid, democrats could rally, and riot, and whatever, because Leftist Concerns Matter. On the other hand, the right wing isn’t able to cause the least threat to another’s life, the least inconvenience to another’s time, because Rightwing Opinions Suck. If you actually believe your cause is worth something, you have to be willing to stand up for it, and part of that is saying, yes, it’s fine if that means someone dies of covid, and yes, it’s still fine even if it means some senators get killed in a riot.

I am Violence! Make way, step aside, I will crush you!!

Violence need not be so bellicose or belligerent. The subtleties of violence can reverberate throughout society, masked as tragic accidents or random acts, and anyone calling out connections can be dismissed as a conspiracy theorist. And it works well for any organized group. Examine “Arkancide” for a refresher.
The blatant violence of Antifa perpetrated by seemingly unconnected groups could easily be countered by similar unconnected groups opposed to their antics.
Imagine returning home from a night of protest in downtown Portland to find that your parents home has accidentally burned to the ground while you were out? And with it your basement bedroom. Even multiple occurances of this could be dismissed as random.
As this type of insurgency quickly dissolves into the night, no sudden bursts of street fighting can materialize.
The world can be an unfriendly place, accidents are legion, and even random crimes are on the increase. And random crimes often go ‘wrong’. Examine Mr. Seth Rich for a refresher.
Such has always been the nature of quieter violence.

falconflight
falconflight

No one, least of all the US Stasi-State, would dismiss such actions as “random.”

fujigm
fujigm

But the bureaucracy of the Stasi-state consistently dismisses these actions as random. As evidence, the investigations of serial killers. Authorities consistently dismiss the possibility of a serial killer until the evidence is overwhelming (Ted Bundy, Gary Ridgeway, et al.). This is not just an American phenomenon. As evidence examine the history of Andrei Chikatilo, of whom Soviet authorities consistently denied the existence. Even now, in the face of disbelieving your own lying eyes, authorities insist that Antifa is just an idea.
Res ipsa loquitur – The thing itself speaks.

[Frankl and Solzhenitsyn] are trying to make a case based on the analysis of an entire bloody century, and the case is:
“Societies become carnivorous and pathological in precise proportion to the degree that the individuals who make up that society become deceitful and irresponsible.”

flash
flash

It’s greats rhetoric, but as history will attest, the lie is merely the vehicle with which to propel the agenda of control over wealth and power. The promise of a shared peace and prosperity is the bait, but first the non-believers of the lie must be eliminated to pave the way for the great new beginning.

comment image

Solzhenitsyn also wrote this.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

― Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn , The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

I got halfway, though The Gulag Archipelago before I gave up. The horror humans inflicted on their fellow man was just too damn depressing to read any further. One can only wonder if Germany knew about the mass murder of so many innocents going on behind the Iron Curtain in the fall of 1918 ? Is so, that would explain a lot.

Pray for peace. Prepare for war.

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late
With long arrears to make good,
When the English began to hate.

They were not easily moved,
They were icy-willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the English began to hate.

Their voices were even and low,
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show,
When the English began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd,
It was not taught by the State.
No man spoke it aloud,
When the English began to hate.

It was not suddenly bred,
It will not swiftly abate,
Through the chill years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the English began to hate.
