What Is Our Policy? Peace at Any Cost or Victory at Any Cost?

what is our policy

“You ask, What is our policy? I will say; ‘It is to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us: to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy.’ You ask, What is our aim? I can answer with one word: Victory-victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival.” -Winston Churchill

Time for America to Ask Biden: What Is Our Policy

At the time Churchill, that marvelous titan of the 20th Century, gave the above speech (part of his famous “blood, toil, tears, and sweat” speech), Great Britain was in a dark place.

Invasion of the British Isles seemed imminent. Nazi Germany was undefeated on the battlefield, having beaten the Poles, swept into the Low Countries, and begun to humiliate the French. The Soviets, after invading Poland in conjunction with the Nazis, seemed to be allied with that horrible dictator, Adolf Hitler. American was yet uninvolved in the Continental unpleasantness and, as a result, wasn’t shipping Britain the armaments it needed to effectively wage a modern, mechanized war. Chamberlain’s policies of appeasement and his predecessor’s cuts to the armed forces, especially the RAF, had left Britain almost undefended in the face of Nazi aggression.

So, what did Churchill do? Did he give in and back down? No, as he told the British people when he rhetorically asked “what is our policy?,” he would fight to the end and fight for victory. Whatever the odds, he’d do what was necessary to preserve the Empire’s honor and triumph over the enemy.

America today finds itself in a much better situation. Our Armed Forces, despite being focused more on wokeness than victory, are relatively strong. We have the resources, if not the stockpiles, to fight a long, intense war. No enemy has yet swept through the territory of our allies or bombarded our homeland.

But we do find ourselves, in the cyber realm, at least, at the precipice of a conflict that we aren’t ready to fight.

A Russian hacking group shut down a pipeline that services the Southeast with most of its fuel supplies. Other Russian groups have stolen treasure troves of personal information, hacked into government computers across agency after agency, and launched cyberattacks on our allies. They shut down the Ukrainian grid, routinely interfere with Ukraine in the cyber realm, and have likely been involved in other, devious plots about which the public has not yet learned.

Similarly, the Chinese routinely hack and steal from our companies. They pilfer classified information (if they can’t find useful idiots like the Honeywell executives to just hand it to them), steal trade secrets, and interfere with the computers of both average citizens and government workers.

In the cyber realm, both the Chinese and Russians are bad news. Both non-state actors and government affiliated hacking groups want to do the US harm and see attacking it online as a good way to do so.

As discussed in a recent article, our power grid and water supply are open to being hacked and shut down or held hostage. As is written about in Battlefield Russia, hackers could wreak havoc by interfering with digital bank records. Future cyber assaults emulating the Colonial Pipeline hack could interfere with commerce and government operations on a major level by shutting down US access to fuel. Continued industrial espionage could put the US’s economic place in the world in danger. It’s a dangerous world out there, and only getting more so.

Now, before it’s too late, is the time to ask Joe Biden “what is our policy?” Will we sit idly by, our thumbs up our asses (pardon my French), as the Red Chinese and Russian oligarchs launch continued attacks on our government and economy? Will we let terrorists, profit-driven hackers, and online cyber warriors grind commerce to a halt while swiping secrets and causing chaos? By not responding forcefully to the Colonial hack, that appears to be Biden’s Chamberlainesque/Carteresque policy: he seems to stand for appeasement at any cost, tamely surrendering at every opportunity.

Or, rather, will Biden stand up for America? Will our policy become, in the words of Churchill, “victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival,” as is befitting of our place in the world?

Open war would probably not be the prudent path as of now. While the potential dangers of continued hacks are immense, they currently pale in comparison to the risk of global, thermonuclear war that would accompany hostilities with Red China and Russia.

But a limited cyber conflict? That should be in the cards, and it is highly disturbing it is not yet our policy. We have experienced a long train of abuses: hacks, cyberattacks, ransomware, and more have been inflicted upon an innocent American people by our enemies abroad. It is time to respond.

Pinkos and naïve peaceniks will tell you that there’s no need for conflict, that we should purchase peace at any price. I say, if we don’t fight for access to our internal infrastructure and ability to remain a functioning commercial republic, then what would/should we fight for? Would we let the Wagner Group seize access to the Colonial pipeline and control the flow of gas into the Southeast? Would we let the Chinese Navy seize an aircraft carrier on the high seas and pilfer every piece of useful technology aboard it?

While I have my doubts about Biden’s true loyalties, not to mention his non-existent backbone, I doubt that even he would let those absurd abuses transpire.

We must therefore ask why it is allowed to happen when done via the cyber realm rather than the physical realm. Why is it different for the Reds to steal our secrets online or for the Russians to shut down our fuel transportation services online or in person? Both would be equally devastating, what is the difference other than the means by which they are achieved?

The time has come for America to stand up for itself. When we’re hacked, we should respond in a way that makes whoever did it lie awake at night hoping we grant him one more moment of life. When our secrets are stolen we should respond in like kind, recovering the value of what was lost plus some. And if any government or infrastructure services are impeded, we should wreak holy hell on the power grid and government IT services of whoever did it.

That would be dangerous, and it might scare those with weaker knees. But it is necessary. The national honor and our national security must be preseved; both will disappear if we continually let our enemies get away with humiliating us in such obvious fashion.

So, Mr. Biden, I ask you: “what is our policy?” Is it appeasement or strength, cowardice or honor, surrender or victory?

There was a bit of dialogue in Without Limits (biopic about Steve Prefontaine). Pre justifies “frontrunning” (his coach’s disparagement), saying “when you set the pace you control the race.” To which coach replies “And the hare controls the hound.”

I’ve always been in total agreement with Pre. How you do anything, including racing, is what matters. Not how it turns out.

But when it comes to war mongrels like WC, I say they are the greyest of hounds in perpetual slot-pursuit of mechanical rabbits.

Can’t even eat a mechanical rabbit. Or hang its feet off keychains. And the dogs in that war of bookies & bettors, trying to please, are surely abused.

I doubt the Russians were behind the cyber attack. More than likely it was the Sea Eye Ay

BTW – The creepy old pedophile’s policy is to have oatmeal for breakfast before you know, the thing (newspaper optional). After that is lunch, followed by a 2 hr nap, afternoon snack, play with the dogs, dinner and nighty night time. 0900 comes mighty early for an old man like him and he needs his 12 hr of sleep.

It’s the opposite of who they are pushing as the culprit. Biden never says anything about China, it’s all Russia with him. The fact that the Democrats openly state they want fossil fuels to go away means they will play dirty to make it happen.

I am old enough to remember Churchill and heard him speak many times. I always looked on him as a man of great courage, who never looked at the odds against him, but looked at the objectives he had to achieve and the job he had to do to get there.

I doubt you are old enough to have lived through those times and been able to experience the circumstance of the times.

Insofar as Hitler’s saving Europe from communism is concerned, my wife can educate you a bit with her stories of the Russian troops invasion of her little town in 1945. She, her mother (her father was killed in the siege of Stalingrad), and her grandparents had only a few hours notice to flee their town ahead of the Russians. They had no food, only the clothes on their backs, and horse drawn wagons to get them as far away from the encroaching armies as possible.

Maybe should look a little deeper, than just at what Churchill said

I’d call Churchill a certified psychopath.

Don’t mean to slam the well intentioned but to me this article is childish, simplistic and naive. I could see someone holding this worldview in the ’70s but the cat’s been out of the bag for quite a while. And if people can overlook what happened on November 3rd, 2020 and keep chanting USA, USA, USA……..nothing I’m going to say to them will mean anything.

So far the ruling class thinks theyre on track to cement total, absolute, global control over everything. Thus, theyre hesitant to let loose a real war, which would fuck up their property and investments. These ‘cyber attacks’ however are so much better to cause controlled and limited disruptions and keep people on their toes and dancing, too preoccupied with day to day affairs to break out of the ooda loop and get their shit in order.. and they dont cause much real damage to the property of the ruling class.

remember, their goal now is , shrink the resource consumption of the Little People, to leave what’s left, for the ruling class and the machinery that keeps them in power. You must do with less so they can stay on top. In the same vein, reducing the population of Little People is also on their priority list. They are trying and so far carrying out a controlled demolition of the modern economy, hoping to leave intact the bits that preserve their power. The force multipliers for them are a lot of surviellance and monitoring, electronic instrumentation of everything, observation, data analysis, etc, and enough armed force to strike whenever something lights up a pattern match in one of their databases – enough to keep people threatened and compliant. This is still being rolled out and they dont want to lose their chance. If chaotic collapse catches up with them, thats the end of their attempt to hang on.

Churchill was a globalist shitbag who sold out. If you look at any of his speeches from the 1920’s he actually told the truth about what the Jews were doing to Germany, and the criminality of it. He then turned into a Jew controlled globalist puppet and sold out his own country and people..
