Life Insurance & COVID-19; Something Doesn’t Make Sense

Authored by Jeff Harris via The Ron Paul Institute for Peace & Prosperity,

You would think that during the worst Pandemic since the 1918 Spanish Flu life insurance companies would be hedging their bets to avoid major losses from Covid-19.

I haven’t written a life policy for several years so I was wondering what was going on?

I called one of the brokers I deal with that interacts with hundreds of big life insurers to get an inside look into how the Covid crisis has changed their business.

Imagine my surprise when she said it was pretty much business as usual!

Last year when the hysteria was just getting ramped up she did say the companies temporarily tightened up underwriting and reduced the amount of coverage they would offer. But as time went by and the hard data came rolling in those same companies went back to business as usual.

I asked her specifically if life insurers wanted a Covid test as part of the underwriting process and she said none that she was aware of.

Hmm, that’s pretty interesting isn’t it?

The most lethal pandemic in decades descends on the globe with deadly mutations taking millions of innocent lives and the life insurance companies couldn’t care less.

I also asked if the cost per thousand of coverage had increased due to Covid and again she said no.

Rates were pretty much the same as they were before the Covid Pandemic ravaged the earth.

Life Insurance companies are very risk adverse.

They don’t like losing money to unnecessary claims.

The fact they’re treating Covid as a nonevent should be an indicator that something is very wrong with the whole narrative.

Having worked at an insurance company and my Dad making his career in life insurance, first as an agent and then in the home office of one, I can confirm what Jeff is saying.

There was no increased loss of life so, the premiums should be reflective of this hoax. No change.

You ALWAYS follow the money. Last year, while the nation was all agog with an election between a narcissistic, incurious blowhard and a demented corporatist warmonger the middle class got crushed and the Davos crowd got loot poured over them.

Six months from now, it would be intersting to see long term disability rates amongst the vaccinated.

I used to work for an insurance company in sales for many years. When covid came the primary concern was getting to clients, not that we lost a bunch of potential clients.

Nothing about the insurance industry has anything to do with the free market, or business accountability. The entire game is rigged, controlled by elected dupes at the state level, working in conjunction with the criminals in the state legislature, to restrict competition, protect criminals, and screw the consumer. And that is a kind summary. Indeed, none of this should be as it is, but just look closely at your homeowners insurance policy. Call something a riot, insurrection, war, or similar, and the insurance company has ZERO liability if your home is damaged/destroyed. I can guarantee there is some very fine print somewhere, maybe in the last revision of the policies (that nobody read, simply because it was just an renewal), that creates a means for the government to label all the upcoming deaths or current deaths, or similar, in such a manner that these companies get off without paying. Or maybe in the trillions added to one “emergency bill” or another, are bailout payments to these bastards so they will pay out to families and be reimbursed. If they allowed the issue to become too public – like with much higher premiums, lots of rejected payouts, lots of rejected customers, or similar, the public would have already gotten wind of it. But trust me…..THEY will not be harmed whatever happens. Insurance is just one of the many protected CARTELS that owns our government…especially at the state level.

Well, I don’t give a fuck. Worked for Liberty Mutual for 35 years. As long as I keep getting my pension payments, whatever.

I didn’t even think about this. I recently did my open enrollment for health insurance and added another $100k to my life insurance policy. The cost was very negligible..like $18 more bi-weekly for another $100k for a 50+year old man? Hmmmm
