U.S.—The nation scrambled to buy F-15s and nuclear weapons after President Biden said in a speech Wednesday that you’ll never beat a government unless you have the fighter jets and intercontinental ballistic missiles.
All over the nation, American citizens were seen parking their brand-new F-15s in their driveways and garages. Some wealthier Americans purchased the F-22, while less fortunate citizens were forced to buy the F-35 joint fighter. But no matter what craft they chose, American citizens said they were just glad to finally be protected against a tyrannical government.
“I need an F-15 to beat the government? Say no more, fam!” said one man in New Hampshire as he happily rushed out to his local F-15 dealer to pick up the latest model. “Before, I thought my AR-15 would be enough, but when Biden pointed out that the U.S. government has fighter jets and I only have an assault rifle, I realized I really needed to beef up my anti-tyranny defense systems.”
“Thanks, Mr. Biden! I sure am glad you reminded me of how brutal a government can be against its own citizens and how governments throughout history have in fact attacked their own people once they are disarmed and helpless.”
The man was later seen picking up an M1 Abrams tank.

I worked at Tinker AFB in OKC for several years in a variety of positions after exiting Active Duty life. The story about the Item Manager who accidentally ordered an entire helicopter instead of a part for one is actually true, but it couldn’t happen unless that Item Manager had the actual authorization from people in Financial Management. Very few of them had that authorization at that time (1990s) but after that incident no item manager will ever have it again, at least not at Tinker.

Sorry to take this seriously, but the brainwashing in this country is too complete, too well-established, for this statement to register as absurd or outrageous with 99% of Americans. Most will consider it a simple statement of fact by Biden. Even among those projecting outrage, most are unable to understand or articulate what, exactly, is outrageous or absurd about it. Thus it becomes, for all practical purposes, a statement of fact. Just like the belief that the government grants you your rights. Almost all people in America think of that as a truism.
We are, therefore, screwed.
p.s. No. I’m not going to attempt to articulate what is preposterous about this statement; but, I’ll watch to see if anyone else wants to take a stab at it, and then watch the shit-flinging in the comments.

Truly an asinine threat, one that will never happen, but a window into what the handlers of Biden really want; a civil war, where the domestic terrorists fire the first shot.
Their problem is that the whole lot of those they are trying to instigate, are clear thinking and level headed enough to not walk into an ambush.
So, there is a stalemate, but time is quickly running out for the current administration. If a flare up doesn’t happen soon, the house of cards is about ready to crash and without any bad guys to scapegoat for their own ineptitude, the final days of the Biden administration will happen much sooner that 2024.
Therefore, their only recourse is to escalate the threats until the fuse gets lit.

On a serious note, if you listen to Biden’s speech and Q&A, he provided the F15 / Nuc answer in recognition there is a ‘sizable / vocal’ amount of the population really preparing (getting armed) for violence (assuming its the against the government.) The fact that Biden is aware of this tells me they know people are pissed.
However they keep doubling down on stupid, raising the pissed off level.
No to the F-15. The F-22 is the air superiority fighter and it can hang everything the F-15 can hang off of it wings.
