This piece is about Project Veritas’s defamation suit against the New York Times. The Times is getting desperate as discovery looms and are throwing verbal bombs. O’Keefe isn’t flinching. That man has the balls of a lion.

For those unfamiliar with the law (or never was sued), the “discovery” phase compels both parties to produce all relevant correspondence and transcripts to the court. It becomes in the public domain. Typically the fake news will pull out the stops to prevent this from happening. Remember the Covington kids who got defamed by CNN? The suit ended with what likely was a sizable payoff to the kids at this stage to prevent disclosure which would prove CNN was obviously dishonest in their “reporting”. Almost all such defamation suits end this way because it’s expedient to collect the payoff rather than continue an expensive legal battle. Not O’Keefe. This will be interesting.

Discovery is why Dominion is in trouble. Discovery can be VERY broad and as long as you can support your need for the information, the judge usually lets you get it.

Will the NYT lawyer lose his license to practice law in NY for this extortion? Since he is obviously a lefty, I would suspect not. Rudy is the kind of lawyer they punish.
I’m surprised O’Keefe has not committed “suicide” or been the victim of a “random” fatal robbery. He has made a lot of enemies.
Let’s hope he has body guards and a food taster! It would be a shame if found with a bullet to the back of his head , and he still had a watch and wallet.
