I don’t think this article was meant to be comedy, but at this point it made me laugh out loud.
What a bunch of horseshit to liken these “passports” to other “laws of the land”.
But ok…let’s go there.
In the UAE an unmarried man and woman cannot share a taxi or dine together. Make sense? No it does not, but if caught, and even if NO hanky panky transpired, each can GO TO JAIL.
In England, perceived “hate speech” written online is a crime. Mind you, these are WORDS. No one is physically harmed. Make sense? No it does not.
In Texas, a person driving through the state can be stopped, and if the officer thinks the person is a drug dealer, or carrying cash for the purposes of a drug transaction, any money or goods of value can be seized with zero warrant and not returned. The victim (yes, victim) is guilty until they prove their innocence and without actually being charged with any crime. Make sense? No, it does not.
What’s the common theme here? All of these laws are about control, control of behavior, control of speech, control of money. It is not about the safety of anyone, ever.
The UAE uses the big stick and threats of imprisonment to control their population via Sharia law
England uses the same threat to suppress free speech.
Texas uses is to enrich local and state law enforcement so they can go on vacation, buy margarita machines, and new cars.
Threatening to take away the ability of someone to move freely, engage in commerce, see family, etc is all about controlling you now and forever.
Covid is not Ebola. It is not the Bubonic Plague. It is not Small pox.
And the behavior of those in control is the exact opposite of what they are pushing on us plebes. This has been seen time and time again, because we all know Nancy’s hair is super important, Gretch had to go to Florida, and Gavin had to go to French Laundry and that guy who made the doomsday graphs had to fuck his paramour. Their wants, needs, desires, all outweigh ours. They are VIP’s and we are merely fodder to feed the machine.
Now let’s go to the “blood on your hands” nonsense.
We have been hearing this chestnut for over a year. “PEOPLE COULD DIE!” “IT’S FOR THE CHILDREN!” “EVEN IF IT SAVES JUST ONE LIFE!”
Oh shut up. The fallout from these lockdowns has been massive. Drug overdoses are sky high. Delayed treatments will certainly increase cancer and heart disease deaths. Suicide. Lost revenue. Children will be permanently scarred for life. But hey, maybe that 98 year old lady in a wheelchair with diabetes and high blood pressure got to live an extra 6 months.
Folks, death makes life worth living. Crouching in your hidey hole like a little bunny is not living. It is existing, like a fungus or a lichen.
Every day you take some kind of risk that may result in severe injury or even death. I am quite sure the residents of favelas in Rio are more concerned with not starving to death or being murdered than they are of Covid.
I think right now in South Africa Covid is probably not even on the list of things to worry about. You know, when people are shooting and burning and looting.
Chicago residents can just take a bullet standing on the street or riding the bus.
You get in your car, and some teenager could be texting and T-bone you at 50 MPH.
You step in the shower wrong and your head is now smashed into the tub edge.
You take that laundry downstairs and trip over the cat, ending with a broken leg or neck.
We all know no one gets out of life alive, so maybe we just go ahead and live, see how that goes for a while?

I had a blood infection 3 years ago and had to be brought back to life 3 times. I’ve lived since then not worrying about living or dying as I figure I died already and each day is a gift. I live now the best I can and dont listen to others saying you have to do this to save a life. i’ll go when my time is up and until then I’ll live free. Death is not the worst of evils.
At times it is a blessing, when it really is your time.
That’s the best outlook anyone could ever have. At any moment we could leave this life for any untold number of causes.

Technically God owns my life as I try to do as he would see fit. However, we as men control our thoughts, our feelings, and our emotions, thus our lives. Everything outside this God tends. To any of the stupid cocksuckers who don’t understand this I would say ‘my body, my choice.’ Again anything beyond this, God tends.
I had a job in Waco, Texas, and would drive up to see my family in Dallas and E Tx about twice a month. One night I was on my way back to Waco and just as I was leaving Corsicana, I see a Trooper on the other side of the road, who busted a U-turn and ran me down, lights flashing and all that. So I stopped, and this guy slowly gets out, slinks along side the passenger seat with his flashlight in one hand and his other on his holster, and finally over to my driver’s side window.
He greets me with the usual “good evening” crap; I responded positively. Then he asks for my license and insurance, which I give him. He tells me the reason he pulled me over was I was speeding. I was, but not by a whole lot: 77 in a 70. So I know this Sooper Trooper has more on his mind. I knew what it was.
“You don’t have any weapons or illegal drugs in the car, or anything like that, right?”
“No sir.”
“So you won’t mind if I search your vehicle?”
Now I already know I don’t have shit in the car, I had only owned it for about 6 weeks and it was still pretty. I made a fateful mistake and told this dude to go ahead, knock yourself out, you know.
He searches the front, nothing. Back, same. Then he took out my entire back seat bench — yes, you read that correctly.
“So this is not your marijuana either?” he asks me, holding up a baggie.
I told him that I did not know anything about it; I honestly didn’t; it was so old it had lint growing on it. He popped it open, sniffed it, said it smelled like some good stuff. Suddenly I had a craving, but that’s what stress will do to you.
Long story short, he told me the reason he searched my car was when he was stalking the outside of it, there looked like a compartment had been welded together, possibly to hold narcotics. Just FUCK, right? I’m working my ass off, running back and forth, trying to live my life… and here comes the Judge, ruining it all. I know, Señor T-1000 could have planted it, through the years the thought has tormented me (this happened a decade ago). But I can’t know for sure, so…
For that baggie that I really didn’t know about — I guarantee you, had I known it was there it wouldn’t have been, because Trooper Poncharello was right, that dope smelled fantastic.
Anyway, for that, I had my license suspended for 6 months and had to attend some sort of drug classes where everybody talked about how wonderful it was to be drug-free. All for 1.4 grams of maryjane. Now they’re trying to force drugs on us. Life is so confusing.
I don’t even carry mouthwash in my vehicle anymore.
But it doesn’t matter anyway.

This is all about perverting and removing constitutional rights. The author failed to mention that even once. Telling
The great thing about the constitution is it just lays out what our rights are already because we are BORN free.
We don’t need a government to tell us what they are. We do, however, very much need to be reminded that the government, no matter which country, generally has the goal to take away those freedoms. They do that by passing “laws” which make no one safer, yet make us less free.
Everyone knows murder is wrong, the law should only uphold the just punishment for the murder. Making murder illegal never stopped anyone from committing murder who wanted to kill another.
Our thoughts are our own, our speech is the manifestation of our thoughts. Saying the constitution “gives” us free speech is ridiculous.
The second amendment is actually the action of protecting ourselves from tyranny, not the “right to bear arms”. It could have said the right to bear plastic drink straws, it doesn’t matter. The intent is for the free populace to remain that way. Guns were the modern weapons of they day, hence those are the arms the people would take up to defend against harm. Guns remain the modern weapon of today, yet some knives are still illegal to own in some places as well, just like some other “weapons”.
That is why is not, in my opinion, necessary to explicitly state our “constitutional rights” are being taken away.
A corrupt governance cares not one whit about that anyway, and have argued, sometimes successfully, to change, moderate, water down, and otherwise erode the document.
A beautifully written document that upholds the inherent rights of all men and women is just that. WE THE PEOPLE are the ones that make it work.
