1) bioethics require full risk disclosure and free choice. Neither of these are being met.
2) For high risk populations, the risk/benefit ratio for the USA vaccines seem to make sense.

8) Dr. @GVDBossche is completely correct as a virologist and vaccinologist in everything that I have read of his. Time will prove him right – I am confident in that. But IMO as a physician, the death and disability in the high risk populations still merits vaccination

Hey, if you’re 80+ and want to get a Covid vax, go for it. If you’re trying to convince a young person or – God forbid – a minor to take an experimental vaccine for a disease that’s less risky to them than the flu, you deserve to be hit over the head with a 5 iron. My 74 year old brother is retarded (retired) MD and is trying to get me to get the shit shot. He’s lucky he is in AK otherwise my 5 iron would be bent. My mother-in-law, retarded (retired) nurse is trying to get the wife to get us vaccinated.
Of all the tools in the sports cabinet, a 5-iron seems like a poor choice for helping the brainwashed understand some truth. However, I do admit, using it for that purpose would provide a bit of practice for that next mid-range fairway to green shot.
Personally, a Louisville Slugger is my tool of choice to impart knowledge on idiots. Plus, unlike a 5-iron, the bat will still be usable afterwards.

Folks are pushing to allow children to get the vaccine without parental consent as young as, I believe, 11 years old.
How about giving those same children the right to refuse to get the vaccine until they’re 18 years old?

This is where the medical profession as a whole is going to have potential issues going forward … they’ve lost all credibility by choosing to ‘go along to get along’ (at the best).
Maybe, too, it’s that the ‘old’ doctors (my favorite and best PCP died 6 years ago — still practicing — at age 75) are all retired and/or dead — and the newer generation — the foreign-born and/or the AA candidates, just are too weak-willed and submissive to either know the truth, to search for the truth or to go against their social media standing/ratings by doing what is right for the sake of US patients.
For high risk populations, there are LOTS of things someone could do other than participating in a genetic experiment. But being an MD, he is not ALLOWED, or not educated on all the alternatives that could keep someone healthy, reduce their symptoms, or even completely CURE them of this virus (Ivermectin).
For high risk populations, the jab isn’t so much a risk vs Covid outcomes.
More importantly, there are many things to reduce thr risk.

I suggest you all get some of the medication to keep on hand in case you need them. Not only are physicians unwilling to prescribe them, but increasingly pharmacies are unwilling to fill legitimate prescriptions. When you are sick is not the time to fight a pharmacy for a week over this.
How is that even legal?? Does anyone know?
I mean, suppose a pharmacy withholds my mom’s heart medication, and she dies. Couldn’t I sue their sorry asses?
1986 Congress passed non liability for Pharmaceutical Co’s if death occurs.
Yes, on my physician/scientist listserv they are currently looking for people who had a pharmacy refuse to fill their prescription and they are preparing a class action lawsuit against pharmacies. Apparently most states have laws that allow pharmacists to refuse to fill prescriptions for any reason though, which makes absolutely no sense to me. One patient was told by an employee that CVS had a corporate policy to not fill any Hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin prescriptions if they are for Covid. The advice was to say that it is for malaria/pinworms, respectively.
