THOSE LYING LIARS

Just rambling a bit here before I have to go out into the heat to keep my Fall garden’s seeding watered…

I’ll admit that I haven’t had time to turn the raw data into “deaths per 100K population” or similar. Two good reasons for that: 1) CDC is now messing with the raw data and 2) Been frantically busy with preps before mid-September.

Though I have been on prepping for 20+ years, a review of inventory and life cycle of products did not completely address the current situation. So, aside from trying to get the Fall garden in, and the ungodly heat here is working against me, I have been chasing down hazmat suits and shelf-stable fats. (Sources now identified, thank you.)

“Why?”, you may ask about hazmat suits. It’s a reasonable question so I will attempt a reasonable answer.

Simply put…

1) My county’s average for “fully whaxxed” is about 43%. Health-care responders (FD, EMT, MDs, RNs) are anecdotally about the same ratio. BUT, they comprise less than 1% of the population near as I can tell.

2) Current data on “breakthrough” infections come at a time when people are not Vit D starved. That is going to change in the northern latitudes come mid- to late-September.

3) “Antibody Dependent Enhancement” (ADE) aka “Perverse Immune Enhancement” which is the term that I learned in the long ago does not care about the pathogenicity (disease-causing capability) of a new challenge virus. Barring one approved coronavirus vaccine for Bovine Enteritis, all other “real” vaccines for beer virus caused mass die-off of the whaxxed animals in their real-world exposure to new strains, no matter how mild they were. And, just about the time that the animals’ immunity began receding.

4) Maybe, unlike with the animal trials, we only get 20% die-off of the whaxxed heading into the winter. Well, nationwide that is about 33 million people (20% of 50% of 330 MM). Going along with my point 1, my neighborhood could lose about 100 souls. Public services here will be outmatched by demand, considerably.

5) All history informs us that when SHTF, a lot more people die from disease than the use of weapons. Bodies need to be safely disposed of to avoid air- and-waterborne contagion. In this particular circumstance, there really is no one coming to save you. You need to be prepped to handle it yourself….

Admitted, this is a “thought experiment” and not a prediction but a reasonable person might think to take some heed.

A backup plan would be to have plenty of Pine-Sol and some 5-gallon buckets for de-contamination of clothing available. Some wrap-around safety goggles, N95 masks, and Vapo-Rub will round you out.

Oh, the Vapo-Rub? Rub a bit under each nostril before getting down into the task at hand. Trust me on this…or ask anyone who has had to deal with gathering remains…of any sort.
