mm, there are some. the whole medical industry has developed an enormous and fundamental conflict of interest. it profits them for you to not be well. that simple. If you are healthy they are broke. viewed through that filter almost anything developed in the past several decades is almost certainly at least supicious-smelling as having potentially multiple conflicting objectives, and some of us simply say no thanks to the whole thing. a person who minds his own health, eats decently, avoids doing exceptionally stupid things like skydiving motocross over erupting volcanoes (just something came to mind there) , there are very few medical procedures or drugs invented in our lifetime that make much of a difference. the basics? the single biggest improvement in health came from the wide acceptance of proper sanitation a hundred some years ago. that is not considered a medical accomplishment but it is a health accomplishment for sure. Access to plentiful clean running water was another enormous improvement in health simply because it made proper sanitation far more practical for people to follow. don’t shit in the same place you drink water. clean things from time to time. really basic stuff. and yet that did more to improve health than anything else people have done in pretty much all of the history of civilization. mechanical procedured like setting a broken bone or filling a cavity in a tooth, have not really advanced in anything except the convenience of doing the procedure, and in some cases (like plastic dental work) the modern convenience is inferior to the older techniques (gold dental work) and has by driving it into a niche sector made it even less accessible.. anasthesia and more thorough best practices for antisepsis in open wounds etc have made some advances, but even the ‘miracle’ of antibiotics was a mirage. it was great for thsoe who lived in the 50s and 60s. but now decades of antibiotics use has simply bred better microbes. the sulfa drugs that were the ‘miracle’ before penicillin were arguably the greater achievement, as their efficacy remains much less impaired after all these years. still, the supposed advances of the past 30 or 40 years have been on the one hand tainted by the huge conflict of interest inherent in the industry anymore, and on the other hand, only offered more advantages in smaller and smaller niches. yeah some people wouldnt be around without insanely expensive chemotherapy every week or two and a host of other drugs. funny why so many doctors still prefer to just let a cancer run its course , to the ordeal of doing chemo.
as for vaccines? even going all the way back to smallpox… the real intelligence there was the cross-immunity developed from cowpox exposure . collecting and smearing infectious material around as a rudimentary mechanism to speed up exposure to the lesser pathogen , even without understanding exactly why it worked, was a great idea, but it was also a lucky guess. anyway theres no comparison between that and the modern way of doing things and no comparison again between that and these gene-treatment-injections theyre pushing now. if one wants to put a specific point in time when the business of vaccines could be determiend to be thoroughly corrupt, it was with the passage of the liability shield laws in the 80s. Any product that gets a free pass from liability covered by the government, has more neon signs than all of las vegas at christmastime blazing out ‘corruption’ in hundred foot high letters.
the conclusion there: no thanks, absolutely no thanks, to any medical treatment where there is any shield from liability.
