Job Title: REDACTED                     Department: REDACTED

Supervisor’s Name: REDACTED                Work Environment: Indoor/Office/Field

Requested accommodation (job change, schedule change, dress/appearance code exception, vaccination exemption, etc.):
____________________________________________________________________

I am requesting an exemption from the currently available Covid-19 EUA vaccines which are based on mRNA and/or utilized cell lines from aborted fetal tissue during development, testing, or production, (e.g. HEK293 and PER.C6)

If an approved Covid-19 vaccine were to become available in the future using more traditional killed or attenuated viruses and did not have a synthetic mRNA, DNA, or utilize aborted fetal tissues for development, testing, or production, I may be able to consider such vaccination, providing it did not conflict with my deeply and sincerely held beliefs. ____________________________________________________________________

Describe the religious belief or practice that necessitates this request for accommodation:

____________________________________________________________________

In order to fully explain my unique Christian Spirituality, I need to tell you about my faith journey.  I was born to Catholic parents, my mother came from a devout upbringing, and I was subject to the ritual of infant baptism.  I had a normal Catholic upbringing, receiving the Sacraments, religious instruction in the faith from grades 1 – 9, and served as an altar boy for several years.  I attended Mass regularly all of my life until age 22 and had been questioning the Church since the age of 14.

I have always been convinced of the existence of a Supreme Creator since my earliest memories, and I had my epiphany as a high school student in AP Biology.  I marvelled at the Miller – Urey experiment which showed the abiotic creation of simple amino acids, but could not create Life.  The economy shown in the creation of Life in the Universe – that the same genetic code existed in all living creatures – showed me that G-d was not only a Supreme Creator but an Intelligent Designer.

Graduate School left me little time to ponder my spiritual needs, but I did attend a Presbyterian church briefly and had begun to read my Bible sporadically.  I distinctly recall enjoying Ecclesiastes, but I did not have any regular or consistent spirituality in my life.

My graduate advisor, REDACTED, passed away from a sudden aortic aneurysm and this was a devastating blow to me.  He was the first man I had ever truly admired and respected and I drifted away from graduate school after that.  I found myself returning to Southern California, my original home, in 1995 in the midst of a profound economic recession.  I initially had high hopes in securing employment with my excellent education and resources, but finding suitable employment was much more difficult than I had anticipated.  My postbaccalaureate studies made me ‘overqualified’ for B.S. level openings and my lack of a completed degree made me underqualified for M.S. or Ph.D. level pursuits.

My savings were depleted much more quickly than I had counted on and I became depressed.  Depression and too much idle time can become a very dangerous space and I fell into unhealthy behaviors that I will not go into here.

It was from this low place that I made my first new friend, Artie.  Artie was exceptionally happy and upbeat which puzzled me because the first time I met him he had 1) just been released from prison, 2) was homeless, 3) had no transportation (a huge liability in Southern California) and 4) needed a ride to the Welfare office.  Coincidentally, I too had reached my nadir and was headed to the Welfare office when I met Artie.  I agreed I could give him a ride, which was about 30 minutes away from where we lived.  As I drove on the freeway, that is when I first learned all of the above named facts about Artie and that he was a 30 year old, recently imprisoned gangbanger who was put away for violent crimes – namely stealing purses from little old ladies by grabbing their bag and knocking them down so they couldn’t chase him. I began to panic.  I was a 25 year old White kid with no self defense skills learning that my passenger is a violent offender who is probably going to steal my truck and may or may not hurt or kill me.

In the midst of all my racing thoughts, I listened as Artie began to tell me how he had been changed in prison, that he had given his life to Jesus Christ, and was a new creation.  I was skeptical and thought this was a con and was going to cost me.  When we arrived at the welfare office, there were a lot of people and it was obviously going to be a very long wait.  I sat next to Artie and he had brought out his little Bible and kept proclaiming the gospel to me, primarily through the book of Romans:

“3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: … 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.”

I was curious but still not convinced that this was for me; I had no intention of becoming a ‘bible thumper’ and was not sure how I would need to change my way of life to try to be righteous.  Coincidentally, as Artie was sharing the Good News with me, another man came and sat on my right side.  He began to chime right in with Artie and used other scriptural verses to describe how Holy G-d is and how sinful I was.  As this stranger was speaking he reached out and without touching me pointed at my chest and said I needed to let Jesus into my heart.  As he said that, I suddenly felt a sensation as if his hand had not stopped inches short of my chest but had actually penetrated my heart.  I believe that I was in the presence of a holy man and I repented and had my personal conversion right there.  Strangely, after I had prayed the ‘Sinners Prayer’, I opened my eyes and the man was gone.  I believe that I had an angelic intervention (Heb 13:2).

When I returned home, driving along with Artie, he continued to share more scripture with me.  I was now a hungy baby Christian and didn’t know what to do next.  Providentially, a local church – Hope Chapel of San Pedro – was offering free dinner to attract neighbor folks to come and learn about them.  I met the Pastor Dan Brown and told him about all that had just happened.  I began to attend church there and grew in the Word rapidly, was baptized there,  attended Bible studies, volunteered in the church whenever possible, and even became a Children’s Church teacher.

From there I attended a variety of other non-denominational Christian churches around Southern California, and also listened to many great teachers on the radio.  Chuck Smith, Greg Laurie, Chuck Swindoll, John Courson, Alistair Begg, and the late J. Vernon McGee all taught me as I commuted.  I learned that:

‘The Bible is G-d’s inspired word and is entirely sufficient (2Tim 3:16)’

‘Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and acknowledge Him in all your ways and he shall make straight the paths beneath your feet. (Pro 3:4-6)’

‘Seek ye first the Kingdom of G-d and His righteousness. (Matt 6:33)’

‘As a believer, it was my duty to study as a workman and show myself approved. (2 Timothy 2:15)’

‘That I am a priest (1Peter 2:5-9) who can boldly approach G-d through Jesus Christ (Eph 3:12) and do not need the intervention of any man (Eph 2:18)’

‘That I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) in the image of God (Gen 1:27) and need to keep my body, which is indwelt by the Holy Spirit(1Cor 3:16, 6:19), unpolluted’

‘That Christ is my Great Physician and will heal me and provide according to His Will (John 5:1-9)’

There is so much more but my point is not to lay out the entirety of my beliefs;  upon these few verses I will expound my opposition to the currently available vaccines.

I have ceased fellowship or membership in any ‘official’ church as I found that once one attends long enough, one is going to keep hearing the same thing over and over.  Many evangelical churches are focused so much on salvation/conversion that all one hears is an altar call every Sunday.  It was beneficial that I took control over my own spiritual needs as I witnessed a former pastor of mine turn apostate publicly and singlehandedly destroyed a vigorous growing church and the faith of many who attended.

My opposition to the currently available vaccines are thus:

  1. The vaccine is immoral. As stated previously, cell lines cultured from aborted fetal tissue are used in the development and testing of the available vaccines.  This is morally repugnant and unacceptable to me.  Some have argued that the absence of proximity between the abortion (1972) and the development of the vaccine (2020) dilutes this argument.  Let each man decide with his own conscience, I have to stand and give my own account to G-d. (Rev 20:11)
  2. The vaccine is unnecessary for me. I have had Covid 19 infection, tested and verified.  My immune system has functioned as the Creator intended (Ps 139:14) and I hold that my immunity is at least equal to that of the vaccinated.
  3. Taking the vaccine is unwise for me. Many aspects of Covid-19 and subsequent vaccine development are unprecedented for a vaccine deployed for use in the general population. This includes the following:

1.First to use PEG (polyethylene glycol) in an injection.

2.Firstto use mRNA vaccine technology against an infectious agent.

3.First time Moderna has brought any product to market.

4.First to have public health officials telling those receiving the vaccination to expect an adverse reaction.

5.First to be implemented publicly with nothing more than preliminary efficacy data.

6.First vaccine to make no clear claims about reducing infections, transmissibility, or deaths.

7.First coronavirus vaccine ever attempted in humans.

8.First injection of genetically modified polynucleotides in the general population.

(Seneff and Nigh, Int Jour of Vacc Theory, Practice, and Research, vol. 2, no.1, pg 38-79)

To be unwise is to be ungodly; my faith places a premium emphasis on Wisdom, which is mentioned 234 times in the Bible (KJV received text).  I will not source every instance, but a key verse for me is Ecclesiastes 7:25 – “I searched everywhere, determined to find wisdom and to understand the reason for things. I was determined to prove to myself that wickedness is stupid and that foolishness is madness.”

  1. The vaccine is unnatural and will pollute my body. The mRNA based vaccines use synthetic mRNA that in turn use synthetic nucleotides – methyl-pseudouridine is used in place of the natural nucleotide uridine (Seneff and Nigh, op. cit. pg 42).  My Creator is an Intelligent Designer and did not think to use methyl-pseudouridine in his Creation, namely myself.  I am to make myself a living sacrifice unto G-D (Rom 12:1), and I fear that pollution of his creation may make me an unacceptable sacrifice. I do not own my body (1 Cor 6:19), G-d owns me and I must follow Him.
  2. The vaccine policy being implemented is too close to the description of The Mark of the Beast, which Christians are warned against. As the government and corporations clamor for the vaccination of every living person, even those with naturally acquired immunity, and the policies are being implemented – just as at REDACTED – that none shall [work], buy or sell.  It is difficult to do much buying when one has lost one’s employment.

“And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Rev 13:17)

I am not asserting that the vaccine is TMOTB, but I am directed to be wise (Matt 10:16) and wisdom dictates staying away from things that appear to be similar to things one has been warned against.

Thank you for your patience in allowing me to share my faith and spiritual requirements for accommodation with you.  “May the Lord bless you and keep you, May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you, May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace. (Num 6:24-26).”

____________________________________________________________________

Length of time (dated duration) the accommodation is needed:

____________________________________________________________________

For the full duration of my employ at REDACTED.

____________________________________________________________________

Describe any alternate accommodations that might address your needs:

____________________________________________________________________

As stated in the first section, the development of an approved vaccine that does not rely on synthetic mRNA or DNA components, nor rely on the use of aborted fetal tissue cell lines for its development, testing or manufacture may allow me to become vaccinated in the future.

This game of dodge-ball and hand ringing is totally insane. What happened to individual right to say NO? There is no definitive evidence there is a real pandemic. The PCR test has been proven to be as unreliable as voting machines when it comes to “identifing” this virus. Why are we playing this game? When will enough be enough???

It’s crazy, there are a lot of pissed off people at my company. I have other plans in the works, and wanted to submit this 1) because it was really interesting to me to see what arguments I would develop, 2) Make HR read this epistle, and 3) encourage others. What I am truly expecting to see is a mass exodus on D-Day Oct 15. But since the Company wants you fully ‘vaccinated’ by then, they will already know come mid September how many ‘refuseniks’ they have to deal with.

But internally, my rationale is “No. I dont want it. Im not cattle. BFYTW!”

What happened to the right to say no? For employees of American Airlines and a bunch of other places it has been erased – and courts have backed up the mandates – like worthless Amy Coney Barrett did in regard to Purdue University. If one has to employ gamesmanship to defeat the fuckers, there’s nothing wrong with that. I don’t expect to be subject to any mandate, but if I had to plead that case, I’d just go with “Revelation 13:16 – it’s the mark of the beast”.

I decided it was better to make a multi point argument so as to better encourage others, you may have a different world view that does not entertain the possibility of TMOTB. I I have not submitted this yet, I’m still considering other points that could possibly be made. I really just want to gum up the works. I’m hoping that the others at my company that I share this with can all put their own personal spin in and make it longer and longer until the last person submits a 120 page bound thesis🤣.

I think yours is more likely to work because you just layered verse after verse after verse, so they’ll probably just grant the exception because you wore them out. Like Luke 18:1-8 the parable of the persistent widow.

Ann Coulter explained that Barrett is a dolt who thinks that her Catholicism requires her to – at best – abstain from voting on immigration and death penalty issues. So she’s wrong on at least three things: 1) that Bergoglio is the pope 2) that the Catholic Church is officially against capital punish and pro-illegal immigration and 3) that any of it has any fucking bearing on how to judge.

Screw any and all religious exemtions. Nobody should have to prove anything beyond the opening words of the Declaration of Independence. “And they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, and among these are Life, Liberty, and the Persuit of Happiness .” As unalienable, I respectfully choose to exercise them NOW!

I absolutely agree with you, unfortunately the courts do not seem to be on our side as evidenced by ACB refusal to hear the request for injunction in Indiana. I can scream feeling blue in the face at my HR department, and that would do nothing either. I’m only doing what I can when I can until such time as I feel that there is nothing else I can do except be the man who has nothing to lose. I believe that this company and others that blindly go down this path may push some poor soul around that bend. And I’m sure the current administration will you session of them to make sure that there’s no more 2A protection for the unvaccinated. Already second class citizens in their eyes.

My employer is a high technology company that will be losing many decades if not centuries of combined experience when they pull the plug. I am considering reaching out to whichever financial analysts follow this company and ask them if they’re aware of this policy that will have major repercussions in terms of the company’s ability to satisfy customers expectations in the US after they chase out their most experienced people, and the degradation of morale there after.

Excellent job Tony!
I read it all even if the company’s HR may not.
At this point I’m not sure that in the future any exemption will be allowed, but I think you may as well take advantage of any “out” that one might avail.

I’m hopeful for my coworkers who are in remote positions. They should’ve never been placed in this position, as they have no interaction with anybody in person at client sites or within the company.

The new CEO is from India, which is a first for our company that was founded by an American over 60 years ago in the basement of a Massachusetts police station. I doubt that he understands our culture well enough to “get” what he is doing to freedom loving Americans.

Tomorrow is the big Townhall meeting. I have been in contact with many other like-minded individuals at my company outside of corporate channels to share our various questions and concerns. We are hoping that there will be either a chance or spoken or texted questions, but I’m not certain they will be. The CEO had the audacity following his initial announcement via email to follow up with the second email to days later talking about the overwhelming positive feedback he had had. I directly replied to him and invited him to join the internal conversation on the companies on vaccine policy FAQ site,And basically told him that nobody was going to be critical to him to his face because they would fear for their job. I was the first to comment on that site, it was very scary but I already knew what I had to do, and I got a lot of kudos internally from my coworkers. I didn’t do it for the kudos, but it was nice to know that others cared enough to thank me.

Why do you type “G-d”?

I too will lay out my testimony in my waiver application. I brought at least one priest and a counselor to tears when I told it to them. Who knows, maybe it will bring someone reading it closer to God before they reject my request.

I forgot #6 – God told me not to.

Remember folks according to the EEOC guidelines, the employer must accept, in the absence of contradictory “proof” that you’re beliefs are sincere. And they even call attention to the fact that prior behavior that is inconsistent with your belief claims is not proof, because people can change and evolve in their beliefs.

Complete insanity. Administrators and ceo’s are being allowed to judge if our religious beliefs and or our SA writing skills are good enough for them to grant us exemption. Frankly I would like them to write me an SA explaining why they are qualified to judge me. As far as I know my religious exemption application is being judged and denied by an atheists. I truly believe we should all walk away from our jobs together and put our fate in Gods hands. Accepting the idea that we have to ask/apply for a religious exemption to ask for permission not to be fired or forced to put something in our own bodies means we have lost. I will not allow them to judge me and I surely will not apply for them to judge me.

I was informed by the VP of HR directly that my exemption was not approved, it that it had nothing to do with my application. Literally told me it was solely because of my sharing it online made them doubt the sincerity of my beliefs.

This was after the CEO had made a statement to the company that approx 97% of exemptions had been approved.

I won’t name the company, but if one were to google the trademarked term ‘UPLC’ you might find them.
