THIS DAY IN HISTORY – Shootings at Ruby Ridge – 1992

Ruby Ridge, 1992: the day the American militia movement was born | Idaho | The Guardian

In the second day of a standoff at Randy Weaver’s remote northern Idaho cabin atop Ruby Ridge, FBI sharpshooter Lon Horiuchi wounds Randy Weaver and Kevin Harris, and then kills Weaver’s wife, Vicki.

Randy Weaver, an alleged white supremacist, had been targeted by the federal government for selling two illegal sawed-off shotguns to an undercover Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) informant. On August 21, 1992, after a period of surveillance, U.S. marshals came upon Harris, Weaver, Weaver’s 14-year-old son Sammy and the family dog on a road near the Weaver property.

A marshal shot and killed the dog, prompting Sammy to fire at the marshal. In the ensuing gun battle, Sammy and U.S. Marshal Michael Degan were shot and killed. A tense standoff ensued, and on August 22 the FBI joined the marshals besieging Ruby Ridge.

Later that day, Harris, Weaver, and his daughter, Sarah, left the cabin, allegedly for the purpose of preparing Sammy’s body for burial. FBI sharpshooter Lon Horiuchi, waiting 200 yards away, opened fire, allegedly because he thought Harris was armed and intending to fire on a helicopter in the vicinity. Horiuchi wounded Weaver, and the group ran to the shed where Sammy’s body was lying.

When they attempted to escape back into the cabin, Horiuchi fired again, wounding Harris as he dove through the door and killing Vicki Weaver, who was holding the door open with one hand and cradling her infant daughter with the other. Horiuchi claimed he didn’t know that Vicki Weaver was standing behind the door. Harris, Weaver and Weaver’s three daughters surrendered nine days later.

The controversial standoff spawned a nationwide debate on the use of force by federal law enforcement agencies, and a U.S. Senate panel accused the federal agencies involved of “substantial failures” in their handling of the Ruby Ridge operation.

Don’t worry, I am pretty sure they have a special place in Hell for all those involved. Killing a woman holding a child, the demons are going to really show some ‘love’.

There is such a thing as a deadly sin, whether you believe it or not. I don’t know about hell, but death I am certain of. There can be two of them.

Ruby Ridge and Waco are early-90s landmarks for me: I finally admitted to myself that the US federal government was not just wasteful and incompetent, as many would concede, but positively evil.

I can totally see the FBI awarding a medal for shooting a small boy in the back. A similar system is used to award medals to FOBits.

It was the start of extreme unaccountability for the glow niggerz. It also showed local copfucks how rewarding dog murder could be. Canines everywhere have been suffering since.

This article smells like freedom fries. It is sad when people imply America isn’t one of the most tyrannical places on earth. It is all hidden behind a thin veneer.

>>>the most tyrannical places on earth. It is all hidden behind a thin veneer.

Unfortunately, you can say the same about each of the Five Anglophone Eyes. We are “children of the same mother”, and thus there is a familiarity which is comfortable, and which often seems welcoming. But I suspect, going forward, that individual liberty in all Five will continue to shrink, along with the ebbing strength of their top-down “financialized” economies. It was good while it lasted… it was, in fact, great.

The only advantage I see now for an American to emigrate to any of the other Four would be “style points” in that the Four usually show a bit less hubris in international affairs, and are not as widely hated as the FUSA. Also, their passports are useful for those who really want to leave modern urban life behind, and raise pigs on one of the outer islands: at least Brits et al. aren’t compelled to file tax returns with the Homeland annually until they die.

What are the odds that Trump’s BFF William Barr spent weeks doing doing legal work in defense of Randy Horiuchi. Tax dollars were already paying for the slime’s defense, but Barr apparently wanted to make certain that federal government lackeys could kill without penalty.

Yep… Barr is a completely dirtball.

He not only did cover this all up but very likely defended these slimy corrupt FBLiers completely. When Trump ‘hired’ him, another loser in a long list of losers he hired, I mentioned that he was there to cover up and slow walk any ‘investigations’, took a lotta heat over that on DB Daily, when it was running.

He sold them 2 legal shotguns and “they” asked to borrow his hacksaw so “they” could cut the barrels off ,to make them illegal. Then they murdered them for selling sawed-off shotguns.

It was an assassination, just like JFK, and was a message to anyone who would dare to stand up against governmental power. What they are doing to the Jan 6 protestors is also meant to be message to not protest the federal government, unless you are on the correct side.
