You have not looked at the downside, which is statism.
As a kid I wondered why they were no creatures with a third eye on the back of their head. Same issue, as I believe to have learned over the decades.
I told my kids all the time (and now the grandkids) to try and take advantage of all the mistakes that I and others who have gone before them have made. It’s easier and less painful to learn from the mistakes of others than to make the same ones themselves.
Usually didn’t work.
Didn’t work too often for me when my dad told me the same thing.
